About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- barrie8960 contributionsMural splendourWe had an insightful 2.5 hours with Roxanne- a French woman now living in Valparaiso. The murals and art work are amazing- a guide is important as I am not confident we would have found these highlightsWritten November 27, 2024
- p2bvent0 contributionsMonet Magic!Excellent tour, well informed! We enjoyed our time and our guide very much. The grounds were amazing and being able to skip the line was essential in a crowded day.Written July 8, 2024
- R6009TRlaurenm0 contributionsToulouse food tourAlex, our guide, was excellent. I wish we had done this earlier on our trip to Toulouse. We know a lot about the local foods and neighborhoods but much about the history and the people in the area.Written May 12, 2024

- NataliaStory0 contributionsWorst tour ever — do not book it!I recommend no one book this tour! My husband paid $400 for this private 3-hour tour of Strasbourg (through Viator), and not was it only the worst tour we’ve ever been on (and we’ve gone on many) — it was so bad, we cut it short to save ourselves the torture (which we’ve never done before). And the tour guide told Viator we never showed up, so we couldn’t dispute the cost?! First, our tour guide was 15 minutes late. We were trying to figure out how to call him or contact him through the parent company, but to no avail. We almost left — but finally someone showed up. It was NOT the Yves (tour guide who had been previously BEEN listed for this. My guess is the original tour guide decided to do a bigger instead (for more tips) — and sent this poor guy to fill in for him on a tour he didn’t want to do. The guide was very nice, and I feel bad, because it’s not his fault he was thrown into this — but he was not prepared. He barely spoke English, barely knew any history, barely spoke to us, kept checking his phone, and seemed uncomfortable with the whole thing. We walked/stood in silence 95% of the time while he didn’t know what to say. He didn’t really understand our questions, nor know the answers. My husband was telling more about history to him than the other way around. After an hour of this, as we stood on the Bridge of Torture — which we learned more about from the plaque next to it than our guide — lest we throw ourselves off the bridge like in times of old, we I decided to end our torture early for both our guide and us and cut the tour short. I’d rather use Wikipedia to look things up as we walk. It’ll be more informative.Written August 26, 2023
- pyc4270 contributionsThe in-depth knowledge we needed to apprehend Saint-MaloThe experience we were looking for was delivered by our amazing guide Yzabel, who took us on an historical walking tour of Saint-Malo, mostly outside the most crowded streets. The weather was ideal and we had a very nice and casual exchange about the history of the city and french history around the 17th and 18th centuries. That kind of tour is perfect if you already know the basics about Saint-Malo, Surcouf, Duguay-Trouin and Jacques Cartier and still want to see the best views around the walls and fortifications designed by Vauban through Siméon Garangeau.Written August 18, 2023
- Travel22A0 contributionsSee exactly what you wantOur tour of Arles was excellent ! Michael was a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. The weather was very windy and cold but he was always smiling and enthusiastic. Well worth the cost to see the major sites of Arles in 2 hours. I highly recommend his tour !Written May 18, 2023
- Fidelma R0 contributionsA real experience of Wexford townJust had a historical walking tour in Wexford town with tour guide Paul Walsh. It was just amazing . Paul is from Wexford and tell the history of the town from the heart . I have lived in Wexford nearly 20 years and did not know some of the places he brought us to even existed . Wexford has so much history and wonderful buildings I can highly recommend this tourWritten November 10, 2022

- 595jessieh0 contributionsLOUVRE VISIT FIASCOWe had booked Louvre visit on our weekend away at Paris. Turned up at meeting point to find no representative from City Wonder's Ltd (booked through GetYourGuide) and were left wandering about for 20 minutes until we spotted a lady talking to a number of tourists. She informed us that she had been sent by the Company to tell us our tour was cancelled and a refund would be given. Very disappointed and annoyed with them as she had also stated that emails had been sent to inform us of cancellation (no email was received). Customer service appalling - will not be booking with them again - at present time still chasing up refund.Written June 2, 2022
- wfredr0 contributionsLa Rochelle TourOur guide made sure she found us to give the tour as her instructions on where to meet were different from ours. She stayed around until we found each other. Gave a wonderful tour to fit our schedule and La Rochelle is a great town.Written September 20, 2021
