As we walked through the city, she provided us in historical information about the sites we were seeing. Our tour had 5 stops, 3 savory and 2 sweet. Wine or beer was offered at the first 2 savory stops. The walking through the city was easy and beautiful!Written October 2, 2023

We have previously enjoyed a food tour in Seville and booked this one expecting it to rate highly and we were not disappointed. Loubna our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Strasbourg and Alsace and took us to vendors of local produce. We started our tour at 10:35 and it included lunch. We went to 3 small shops and 2 restaurants and at each were met by genial hosts.
I would recommend this as a way to combine a city tour and sample local food and as the tour groups tend to be smaller than most, it is a good way to meet and interact with other travellers.
I would highly recommend this tour and guide.

Raphael was an amazing guide! Do not eat breakfast before you do this tour!!! When it says ‘food tour’ it doesn’t mean ‘snack tour’ you definitely get value for money with an exceptionally knowledgeable commentary on the history of the city from the guide and a very very full tummy from local delicacies (including a large lunch and some delicious wine and beer!)
Raphael was patient and interesting and the service at the hosting restaurants was exemplary.
We did the 10:45am tour which I would highly recommend as a great way to kick off your day, particularly with a group.

This was a great experience! Raphael was an excellent guide, and shared a lot about the history and cultural background of the food, as well as Strasbourg. We tried a wide variety of delicious food, and each of the places offered a unique aspect of the Alsatian cuisine. The portions were very generous; we even left with some leftovers. The tour was well organised, with bookings made in advance. We booked the night tour and were able to see different landmarks around Strasbourg from a different perspective. We were also given several restaurant recommendations, and suggestions of landmarks to visit for the rest of the trip. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to learn about Alsatian cuisine and history from a local, and amazing food. Thank you so much for introducing us to your city, providing us with an abundance of food and answering all our questions!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Loubna. She skillfully illuminated the historical significance of the sites we explored while strolling through Strasbourg. It was great to get a tour from a lifelong Strasbourg resident and university student. The walk itself was leisurely and my wife with mobility issues had no problems completing the tour. The tour included a full lunch with wine or beer. I would definitely recommend skipping breakfast or eating a light breakfast. The tour was also a good size so you got to meet and chat with everyone else. I much preferred a tour with ~10-15 people that some of the 25+ people tours that you saw in the city. I highly recommend!

Perfect tour, perfect guide, perfect food. Best way of getting not only a lot of food for the money, but also a very interesting historical tour and information about the city. I can recommend this to every food lover who wants to eat and see the city at the same time for a good price!

With our guide Nahama, we are very personally immersed in the history of the city and the traditional Strasbourg cuisine. She was very nice and competent and responded to all our questions individually in the small group.
It was a great experience, which we like to tell and recommend.
Thank you Nahama!

We enjoyed a wonderful tour with Raphael. This tour provides you with a wonderful sampling of the local cuisine and wine. The main seated tasting is very generous and a meal in itself. There were 4 beverages (wine/beer) provided in addition to the food tastings, 2 being full size glasses. Another great part was that you are able to walk/see most of Strasbourg on this 3 hour tour, which is great, especially if you have limited time to see the city. Lastly, our guide was easy going, kind and personable. He provided us with a lot of useful information.

It's so great to meet a true local like Lucie to learn about a city and taste the local food specialties. She gave us a tour filled with local history and relaxed time to savor the wonderful foods. We got a full meal, snacks, tastes, dessert, a taste of wine and beer, and coffee and pastry to finish the day. Highly recommended!

This tour takes you to many varied places to taste a diversity of foods and wines in Strasbourg. Our wonderful guide Raphael patiently explained the various foods and wines that locals enjoy and took us inside many different buildings as well as a tour of some main sites of the city. We learned background information and really enjoyed tasting all the different foods. I really recommend this tour.

Hello,
We are visiting Strasbourg in September and would love to book a food tour. However one of us has severe allergies to Celery, Sesame and Peanuts, and also doesn’t eat meat (but does eat fish). Would it be possible to cater for them?
Thanks!

We are on a Viking river cruise and are stopping in Strasbourg on Thursday, June 23. We saw your tour and are very interested. There are four of us
Is this also a walking tour and a food tour ?
Do you know how far it is from our boat to the meeting place? Can we walk?
If for some reason the ship does not dock that day in Strasbourg, can we get a refund?

This is also a walking tour. Regarding how far the boat would be from the meeting place, I do not know. If I recall correctly, you had to cancel at least 24 hours prior to get a refund. I would encourage you to forward these questions to the tour itself.
