Colmar is a very beautiful town, lots of good places to eat and would recommend a guided boat trip on the river, you will learn more about the history of Colmar

Maxim or Max, as we called him, was a superior guide! He told us the history of Alsace region and showed us many famous villages. We saw the village which inspired the movie Beauty and the Beast. Max also gave hints for restaurants and good wines to taste. He showed us the best views from the Castle and warned us beforehand that the journey up to and inside the castle entailed climbing 300 steps. Whew! We made it and what a view! Towards the end of the tour, Max drove up through the vineyards to reach a spectacular view of the region. Wow! While there, we picked maribellas, a delightful plum-like fruit. Max was also very caring for an elderly lady on the tour who couldn’t walk very fast. You will be very fortunate to have Max as your guide should you choose this Alsatian tour!

One of the very best one-day tours we have ever taken, and #1 highlight of our visit to Alsace. Very comfy minivan for max ~6 participants. Jerôme was a guide sans pareil: so knowledgeable about wine and about history and culture of Alsace more generally. Very personable, too, and with superb English. Excellent driver, you name it. Greatly enhanced our knowledge and appreciation of Alsatian wines!

Pauline was our tour guide into the Black Forest and our trip was absolutely wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and took her time so show us many of the little towns along the way. The views were breathtaking!!! I would highly recommend booking a tour with Pauline!!!!

Great trip! Our guide Thierry was excellent in sharing the history of each town and the region in general. He is also responsive to questions and very friendly. The van was clean and comfortable.

My husband, college-aged son and I did a 4 hour wine tasting tour through the Alsace region with Maksym. He was on time, informative and customized the tastings to our group’s interests. He also enriched our knowledge with the deep history of wine-making of Alsace and the beautiful architecture in the area. At the end, he went out of his way to drop us off at our hotel! Great tour of Baden Baden area and the baths, as well as a winery. Pauline was our guide and she did a great job - went above & beyond. We learned a lot about Alsace and the surrounding area from her. Highly recommend this tour and Pauline!

Our guide Thierry was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and was so funny and convivial. We really enjoyed the insight he provided and all of his funny jokes. He even took us on a little side trip to see Ostheim, which only has one pre-WWII structure left after being bombed. It is crowned with a stork’s nest, the region's symbol of birth and new life. All of the medieval villages were picturesque and so very charming. Thierry captivated our group during the tour of the Chateau du Haut Koenigsbourg. Because he had worked as a guide there, we were treated to all of his insider knowledge. This tour was the best of all of the tours we booked for our week in France. I give this one the highest of marks!

A wonderful experience of Alsace. Visits of many typical villages but plenty of time to walk around. Also visit of a castle up in the Vosges mountains past the vineyards. Our guide was Thierry who was very knowledgeable, entertaining and had boundless energy. In small groups of max 8 but everyone sits very comfortably in the Mercedes minivan (air conditioned if necessary). If you have only one day to visit Alsace (outside Strasbourg) this is the tour for you and there are plenty of opportunities to sample the famous Alsatian wines in the villages where we stop. There is something for everyone in the family on this tour (note: not suitable for wheelchairs or someone who has difficulty walking because of the cobblestones and the occasional hill and stairs)

Efficient and flexible tour, mixing guided tours and free time. Guide knowledgeable about history and the area, and friendly, with sense of humor and good language skills. Enjoyed exploring with other people in our small group as well. Well liked by my older teenager, who had requested to see these destinations.

Pauline from Ophorus was our guide, beside me and my wife there were 5 other persons in the same tour. The tour started from the Strasbourg Catherdal at 9am and returned similar place approx 5pm according to schedule. Pauline is a good driver and a nice person and guide. Her local knowledge in the Alsace area was amazing. We visited three of several local vineyards and tasted between 6 and 8 of their vines. We learned a lot about the Alsace vine production, the special landscape and the different soil conditions which mainly affects the the vine taste. We also purchased some boxes of wine, but that´s another story. Pauline gets our highest possible recommendation as a guide for the Alsace Local Villages tour.

This tour was absolutely wonderful! Chierry was our tour guide for the day and could not have been better, he’s a local who gave us so much information and history of the towns and the region. We learned so much from him and visited so many beautiful places on this tour, I can’t recommend it enough!

We had a great trip! It was raining during or tour, but our tour guide still made the trip very fun. He was a good driver, very knowledgeable about wine making, the Alcace region, and the two wineries we visited. I learned a lot on the tour and had a lot of fun!
