- juliafL3272ID0 contributionsWonderful trip with a great tour guide! We had an amazing day trip to the Lake District with Lee. He was a wonderful tour guide and great driver. The whole trip was perfectly timed and we learned a lot about the region and its people. Listening to some Beatrix Potter stories and the Daffodils poem was a lovely touch! I would definitely recommend this tour!Written August 2, 2024

He was helpful in directing us to the touristic areas and took care that the hotel arrangements were to everyones satisfaction. We had much enjoyed the trip and will look forward to book another one with Go Tours to another destinations.Written July 17, 2024

- M1287ERmicheleh0 contributionsReached the heights of heaven in the Lake DistrictFrank was a great tour host. Unique way of presenting with music and humor. Provided some historical background which was very interesting and showed he clearly had a knowledgeable interest in the history. Pleasant, courteous, friendly, accommodating - gave tips about various local areas of interest. And the piece de resistance…the views! This made our entire trip. So very worth it.Written March 27, 2024
- Cruiser309401787960 contributionsYorkshire day tourWe had the best day ever.. The tour was amazing.. Everything that we had expected and more. The views! ....just wow! Hardraw Force was beautiful and Haworth was just like going back in time a 150 yrs! and of course the Bronte Parsonage was.. -(personally speaking) the highlight of the day. A special thanks to our driver and guide Frank!! Friendly.. Helpful.. And very professional. Thankyou again!Written November 11, 2023
- Scruffy_Seagull0 contributionsA fun & interesting day trip!A great day trip with a small group. Shelley, our guide, was fantastic, and made the day fun and interesting for everyone. Experiencing the 1940s festival when we arrived in Haworth was an added bonus! We had lunch in Hawes which was a cute village but rather spoiled by the many motorbikes zooming around! (It may be quieter on other days, but it was a fine, sunny weekend, which probably brought them all out!) Hardraw Force waterfall was gorgeous! It was a lovely way to spend a layover day between flights and the fact that the pick up is at Manchester Airport made it easy.Written May 28, 2023
- Quest7040590 contributionsLearned new things, explored the beauty of Lake District, friendly staff.Lee, John and Matt were excellent! Lee had a game with a prize which warmed up the trip. We learned about the Lake District as well as having fun. We had time exploring the towns. I like the most was walked/hike to the top of a hill in Keswick. I learned from John the plant Nettle, can be used medicinally, ceremonially and as a highly nutritious food source. Roots, seeds, stems and young, tender leaves are all edible. Native Indigenous people use stinging nettle for medicine, ceremony and as a food source. Mature fibrous stems have been used to make rope, cloth and fishing net. As you can see, he has good knowledge of variety of subjects. All in all, I highly recommend this tour.Written May 22, 2023

- edconw0 contributionsNorth Wales Day TripWe took the full day North Wales Tour from Manchester, and it was well worth the cost. We met Frank our tour guide/driver at Manchester Airport bus station as promised at 8:45 AM, and we were off for a great day to Llandubno, Conwy Castle, and several other stops along the way. Frank was a knowledgeable and fun tour guide. We had been to southern Wales (Cardiff and Bath) previously, however, Northern Wales is a bit different, and quite enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Busy Bus for a tour in the UK.Written December 19, 2022

- Inspire162833853360 contributionsA lovely day-long tour with a great guide! Our guide, Stuart, met us exactly as planned, in time, and fully prepared for the day. The Busy Bus was clearly marked and immaculately clean. The ride was comfortable, and Stuart had every stop timed perfectly. It was a beautiful tour, and we learned a lot. It was a great balance between natural beauty and time to explore shops, cafes, and restaurants. We made it back to Bay A at the airport in a timely manner, and Stuart helped us find transit back to our hotel. A great day, over all.Written November 21, 2022
- lifanis0 contributionsPerfect!16th of September - Tour in the Lake District with Frank I didn’t know about the company Busy Bus but I don’t regret booking with them. We visited the most beautiful and interesting places, everything was well organised and on time, the views were amazing and Frank made the whole trip 10 times better with his kindness and stories. We will definitely book again with Busy Bus when we come back to the Uk for another adventure.Written September 17, 2022

Another very well organized trip by Busy Bus, worth every penny!
We visited a charming Welsh seaside resort of Llandudno where we were surprised to see naturally growing palm trees (!). From there we drove to Conwy where we could admire an impressive castle from the 13th century and take a walk around the city walls. Pity that there was not enough time to visit the castle.
In Conwy on the beach, those of us who wanted could visit the smallest house in Great Britain. The next stop was in Snowdonia National Park where we took a short hike close to a small waterfall. The last stop was at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which those of us who wanted could cross to admire the area from a bird’s eye view.
There was enough time to take photos and enjoy the beauty of Welsh landscapes. Our guide, Stuart, made the trip even more interesting by providing us with historical facts and other curiosities about the region.
The trip would be even nicer if it was extended for one hour to be able to visit the castle in Conwy. But altogether, the trip was a fantastic experience!

Lovely words and great review. So glad you're happy. We hear your suggestion to extend the tour and would love to but, alas, some people need to be back for onward travel or other arrangements. It's a question of dropping something from the itinerary or reducing the time spent at each stop.

This is a terrific tour to get a snapshot of wild and wonderful Northern Wales. Frank, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and personable. Despite a few obstacles beyond his control (bus needed to be switched with another at the start, losing tour time, plus ... the replacement bus had no USB plugs for guests), Frank managed to make it a fun outing. The scenery and quaint towns were worth the price of the ticket. I definitely recommend this tour for those wanting an up-close look at the nation's gorgeous countryside, its famous castle, and delightful seaside communities.

Kevin gave us a wonderful tour of North Wales. He was perfectly friendly. And we could tell that he enjoyed his job, knew the sites well and was proud to show off the area he loved. The only downside is that there is a lot to see and the tour can only allow for an hour or so at each stop. That’s not a knock on BusyBus though. There is just a lot to see. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BusyBus and I’d like to take one of their other tours if I get the chance.

Thank you for your fantastic review. We agree - 9 hours just isn't long enough!
Wales is a wonderful, underestimated location that needs days, if not weeks to explore. It looks like "mission accomplished" in teasing you with tidbits and highlights.
Come back soon.

I took the North Wales day trip from Manchester on the 24th of September and had an absolutely fantastic time. Our driver/guide Shelley did an amazing job with keeping us entertained during the whole trip while also providing interesting bits of information about the places we have visited. I can safely recommend booking a trip with the company.

SPECTACULAR North Wales adventure bus tour with BusyBus.
Shelly our guide and driver greeted us at the Manchester airport upon our arrival and set the tone right from the beginning, she was friendly knowledgable and highly professional.
Shellys background, and experience proved to be an asset as she was able to engage very well with the entire group.
The variety of stops that we had, such as viewing the long boats on the canals in Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, driving through picturesque Llangollen village, stops in Betws-Y-Coed and stunning lake and waterfall vistas in Llynogwen, continuing on to the the mid evil Conwy Castle and also the picture worthy “smallest house in Great Britain” and finally our conclusion at the lovely seaside town of Llandudno and it’s beautiful Pier.
The icing on the cake was Shelly’s ability to pronounce one of the towns we visited with the longest railway station name in the world to perfection, you will have to do the tour to find out what this is all about !
From start to finish, the day was glorious and the views were spectacular on this clear blue sky and sunny day !
Wales is truly a STUNNING and MAGICAL Country!

We were two couples with 2 kids. The trip was amazing, our bus driver and tour guide was Adrian, we had done a day tour to lake District with him a day before, so this was our second trip with BusyBus and Adrian. He was very knowledgeable and kept telling us stories and specialities about the places we were visiting. He was funny 😄 and kept the journey very interactive, kids also had lot of fun..we got ample time off-bus to explore the places. Weather was just about merciful! 😄 North Wales has so many beautiful places to see.. saw mountains, waterfalls, castles, sea shores, chapels, cosy cafes, we also did a 20 min trek which was very scenic and special thanks to Adrian for taking us to these delightful spots.

The tour bus was very uncomfortable. The seats are narrow and there is no place to even place a bottle of water or a cup of coffee. The seats are so close to each other that it is difficult to see anything in front.
The tour itself was nice and the tour operator was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Suggestion to increase time in the natural part of snowdonia and reduce in the cafe/shopping area.

BusyBus specialises in navigating routes and areas inaccessible to full-size coaches. We are saddened that you penalise us for this but respect your observations.
We are glad you enjoyed the tour itself though.

Hi team,
I have some complaints to make after doing the North Wales trip with Kevin on 17th Jan.
1. I didn't find your tours until too late for me to do a lot more..!
2.A whole day went too quickly!
3.I had too much fun for one day!
4. My planned train trips now promise to be boring in comparison!
In other words and Aussie humour, the trip was brilliant! 10/10.
Kevin was very informative and fun, and I saw places I would never have found without him. The sightseeing was the best I have seen. Kevin obviously loves what he does and I can understand why.
I plan 6 monthly trips to the UK, and will be sure to book more tours.
Also,you are most competitively priced.
From a grateful Aussie.
