A very interesting and informative tour. It's amazing to watch the craftspeople at work and when you saw the time and detail that went into each piece you could better understand the price. Absolutely beautiful work. I would recommend the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, able to answer any questions, and allowed adequate time to stop and observe at every station.

This was something we felt we had to do, while in Waterford go to the House of Waterford and purchase something special to bring home from our trip to Ireland. Why not? The easiest item to bring home was an ornament and the most symbolic of our trip was a crystal shamrock. They come in nice boxes that can easily be packed in luggage. Not terribly expensive but you pay for what you get.

We wanted to visit the showroom since we were nearby, but didn't have time for a tour. We have several pieces at home already and were looking to add to our collection. My son always makes fun of me because I guess I say "It's a Waterford" whenever someone asks me about my treasures in the china cabinet. The showroom was amazing and we fell in love with a gorgeous Starry Night vase. The manager was kind enough to give us a glimpse of the artisan cutters in the production area and some of their recent works. We ultimately decided on getting something for everyone and purchased whiskey glasses, a bowl, and a tray and we shipped everything home. Everyone we spoke with in the showroom was friendly and helpful and they treat you like this is their family business. If you have never seen the skill and artistry that goes into creating such beautiful crystal, then make time for the tour, but definitely make a stop and get a real souvenir of Ireland that you will treasure forever.

I was staying in Waterford for a couple of days with family and we decided we’d pay a visit to Waterford Crystal and we really enjoyed it. The place was clean. The staff were lovely and very friendly because we wanted Christmas decorations and utensils and we were unsure which one’s to buy. All the prices were displayed clearly. It’s easy to find. The only thing we didn’t do was the factory tour which we would’ve loved to have done if we had the time. Hope to be back soon.

You get to see the items being made and someone tells you how it is done. Very interesting place to see. Well worth going there.

Great tour showing molds to firing to cutting. Takes about 90 minutes with a very knowledgeable guide. Can video and take pictures. Within 5 to 10 feet of artisans as they work. Some cuttings are done by machine robots. Worth it.

Beautiful crystal but to expensive and was able to find a small glass blower up the street who was amazing

We didn't do a tour but just visiting the show room was still worthwhile. Some of the displays are simply stunning and we found ourselves walking around a few times to view everything on display. There is seating available and plenty of room to move around. We also used the café which was very good and well priced. Worth a visit.

A most enjoyable visit as highlighted by the service of Laoise as she helped us with our purchase. We look forward to additional Customer Service regarding the purchase of four Champagne glasses.

We did not make it in time to do the tour and visited the gift shop only. We were in awe at the absolute beauty. Items were priced reasonable and we of course did not leave empty handed.

We have been on many factory tours, and the one at the Waterford crystal factory was by far the best experience. Throughout the tour we were literally 1-3 feet from the workmen. The guide provides explanation of each of the steps of the process, starting with pouring the molten glass into molds, cleaning and marking the glass and etching the design. You leave with a full appreciation of the art. The tour ends of course in the beautiful gift shop, however, there was never any pressure to buy.

We arrived at Waterford Crystal and the wait for the next available tour was about 2 hours. We didn't make the tour and that's one of my biggest regrets from our 2 week Ireland Vacation. I recommend you book your tour time in advance. We did walk through the showroom and it alone was amazing. The beautiful pieces they had on display and for sale. We bought several pieces and they offered us $30 flat rate shipping to the US with a breakage replacement guarantee, so we didn't have to worry about carrying it with us. Along with the beautiful countryside and amazing rich culture and history, this was one of my favorite stops.

Just been cancelled after 2 change of date. Tour and Afternoon tea. Apparently VIP more important than regular people. I now have 4 Waterford champagne flutes in Melbourne , Australia up for sale (individually boxed ) I will never ever use them ever again in disgust. If not sold they will be destroyed. David Kan
