Great tour with Paul and Ruby!
Really enjoyed the jaunting tour and afternoon tea. Paul (driver) was excellent and provided background to the area with the whittiness only a seasoned driver could provide. Ross castle and surrounding lake is lovely. The visit at Ross castle is just enough time for a picture, visit to the loo and a drink. The afternoon tea was excellent. It’s a beautiful hotel and it’s a formal tea with casual dress code. They have to go boxes for a reason, it’s a lot of food. This is a gorgeous area and nice town (geared towards tourism). After the tea it’s a nice walk to the next spot. It was a worthwhile excursion.

Sit next to driver if you can ! Get Patrick O’Sullivan! Lots of fun.
Took this as part of a Globus tour. Was skeptical but wow it was fun. Was fortunate to sit next to the driver upfront. Heard all his corny jokes and saw everything ! Only downside the horse Blackie took a couple of smelly dumps along the way. Our driver - Patrick O’Sullivan - was quite a character and a lot of fun ! I think he knew every plant in the national forest and knew when every wall was built or rebuilt on the trail. Really enjoyed this and were blesses with PERFECT weather.

A "MUST DO" when you visit Ireland
This is a MUST DO when you visit Ireland! You will be in awe at the beauty of the Killarney National Park. Our Jaunting coach's name was Calvin and his horse was Maggie. Maggie was his grandfather's horse. He was funny, personable and knew lots of information about Ireland and the specific area. LOVED this incredible experience! Buíochas! (Thank you in Gaelic)

Jaunting Car ride well worth taking
Kristen and I had a great hour long ride with Mike, being pulled by Rosie! lovely ride through part of the Killarney National Park - with Mike sharing just enough details to make it very interesting while not over doing it! Beautiful scenery and wildlife - and a nice walk around the castle.

    Nice Lake Tour Killarney
Nice lake tour by covered boat. Comfortable bench seats, nice staff, good 1 hour cruise around the lakes, leaving from Ross Castle. Commentary by the captain, slows to see major features. Well worth a trip if the weather is good, otherwise scenery is limited.

Outstanding Pony & Trap Tour of the Gap of Dunloe!
Outstanding! Our tour guide and his horse were so nice and friendly. The Gap of Dunloe has scenery that reminds you of a wonderful painting. It's just beautiful. Seeing it quiet and calm with a horse made it so special. I highly recommend this experience.

Beautiful ride through Killarney National Park
We took a great jaunting cab tour from Killarney to Ross Castle with Louis (and horse Archie.) We really enjoyed the ride, and Louis was so kind to our 7-year-old, who had a million questions about horses and castles and what bugs live in Ireland. The weather was gorgeous, and it was a lovely ride. Thanks to Louis for letting our little guy pet Archie as we said goodbye.

    Really recommend this experience!
We had been on the road for a good part of the day, dropped our bags in the hotel, walked across the street and jumped on our jaunting car -- could not have been easier. It's shocking how quickly you go from a city atmosphere into a beautiful park, really a great experience that dropped our stress level down to zero. Fun to stop at the castle, see all the wildlife, very comfortable ride with blankets for when it got a little chilly. Really strongly recommend doing this, unlike anything else I've seen before. Thanks!

Family trip to Gap of Dunloe
Took my wife and 2 kids (17 and 24 yrs old). We took the boat ride from Killarney at Ross Castle and picked up the horses half way at Lord Brandon’s cottage. It was a beautiful day. Cathal was our guide on the boat. He was great, very knowledgeable. Very friendly. Was the most beautiful ride through the lakes and the mountains. One of the most beautiful sceneries. Patrick picked us up at the cottage and we did the horse buggy ride down. My wife recently fractured her foot and they were so attentive to make sure she was okay and comfortable. Amazing scenery, some of the most beautiful sights. Would highly recommend this to any one of any age!!

A fun unique way to see parts of the national park
We had a lovely 1 hour+ jaunting car tour to Ross Castle and back. James, our driver, was extremely nice and gracious. And the tour was great for my mom who joined us (in her 80s), allowing her to see parts of the park without the hike. Highly recommended to all.

    Disappointing.
Very disappointing!!! We received notice a little less than 24 hours in advance that our tour was cancelled. We pre booked this adventure weeks before we left the States and were very excited after reading the reviews. We just received an email about the cancellation with no explanation. If I hadn’t been checking it regularly while away, I would have missed this completely. Weather was beautiful, so it wasn’t the reason for cancellation. We did receive a full refund, but we weren’t able to book anything else with that short of notice which meant we missed going into Killarney National Park.

By far one of my favorite things we did in Ireland.
We had perfect weather for our Jaunting Car ride through the park. Our driver was part if the family and very informed about the area and different areas in the park as well as the history of his families company. We had a great time.

A delightful way to see the park and castle!
We had such a great time with our guide John and his horse Samson! He was very friendly and informative! He even told us a cheeky joke about the fallen tree in the park along the way ;) We had a delightful ride and then a stop at Ross Castle. John was very knowledgeable and greeted passersby as well. His recommendation for dinner at Tattler Jack's was spot on as well! We highly recommend taking this company's tour! It was so nice for me to relax and enjoy the views four once as I was the driver for all of our trip.

What a wonderful surprise it was to find that we didn't have to share the cart ride with anyone that we hadn't booked with - as a couple, it was great to take the ride with just the two of us. Our tour guide was witty, informative, and entertaining during the ride. The ride takes you into the park to Ross Castle where you're able to stop and explore for about 15 minutes, and then you're taken back out of the park to the Killarney brewery. My only complaint would be that I wish the ride was longer, but I assume I'd feel that way no matter how long it actually was as I enjoyed it that much!
The beer was great, a table was reserved for us so despite the business of the evening dinner time we were able to waltz right in for our beer and a delicious pizza.

We did this tour in the evening and had James as our guide. I think the evening was the perfect time, the sunset was perfect. Our horse was Crystal and she was doing a great job. Then we went to the brewery after and had some really good pizza and a pint

The experience was really nice.

We had a tough time finding exactly where to go. Make sure you read the instructions in the description on where to park and wait to be picked up in front of the Great Southern Killarney Hotel.

Dan was our driver and he was really nice, funny and gave a great guided tour. Debbie was the horse and she was beautiful. The ride through Killarney National Park was really nice. We also saw lots of Sika Deer. We were dropped off at Ross Castle, it was one of the best castles we saw, you could get right up to it and walk around.

We went back through the park and were dropped off at The Killarney Brewery. The beer was good but the pizza was not.

Its a unique experience that I would recommend. Maybe not the pizza though. Consider their other tour options.
