About the operator
- Karl_HeinzR35600Perfect arrangement and verz carefully managementWe booked our Dingle Walk comfort hike with this agent. Everything went fine. Starting with preparation to general information after booking, briefing after arrival and taking care about us during the hike. Each transfer and accomodation were prepared and perfect scheduled. The most of them excellent places with a great view and experience with Ireland. This agent will be booked at every time again!
- 293belindao00The Islands of Ireland (Belinda group)This is my fourth experience with Ireland Walk Hike Bike. All of them have been outstanding and in their own way extremely diverse. This one was led by Niamh Quinlan and was expertly tailored. The islands were those (other than Achill) that I had never heard of before. We ferried out to remote islands, Inishbofin, Inishturk, and Clare Island. The trip also included a hike up the well know pilgrimage trail of Crough Patrick. We had another island to visit. but flights from the USA were delayed a day. I highly recommend this hike as you travel back in time when visiting these sparsely populated places. Our stay in Westport, afforded local exposure to traditional music and excellent food. The accommodations were brilliant. Thanks again IWHB for unique, cherished memories. Belinda
- gregtM9946KG00A Well Planned TripIWHB did an OUTSTANDING job planning an itinerary tailored to our wants in a country we had no familiarility with. They listened to what we wanted to see (nature) and not see (churches, castles or anything with much of a crowd) and they were spot on with their accomodation choices, restaurant suggestions, and points of interest. They made the process stress-free including map links to precisely where we needed to go (for example, Tully Mountain which has no trailhead sign). From Dean at the front end to Clodagh regularly checking in during the trip, we always felt they were going to make it a wonderful vacation - and it was. We highly recommend them.
- DennisK79200The Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula Cliffs of Moher - Amazing Tour with Ireland Walk Hike BikeOur guide Linda W. from Ireland Walk Hike Bike truly made our trip unforgettable. The landscapes we saw, from the rolling hills of the Ring of Kerry to the dramatic Cliffs of Moher, went beyond our wildest expectations. But Linda's warmth, knowledge, and dedication is what really made our adventure magical. She brought Ireland's natural beauty and rich history to life, going above and beyond to satisfy our curiosity. By the end of our trip, we felt we had made a dear friend. I would 100% recommend using Ireland Walk Hike Bike if you want to see and feel the real Ireland. They crafted a wonderful custom trip, and really helped us connect with Ireland. Linda absolutely made our time exploring Killarney, Dingle, Galway, and beyond a trip we'll cherish forever.
- N6938FIjudithb00Fire Driving Company, after 1day hike!! John Cochran! On the Ireland hike, bike , rideWe hiked the Wicklow Way! After we hiked our first day, a gentleman by the name of, John Cochran, picked us up! We wanted to eat at Johnny Fox’s, which was very much recommended, but would not take us there!!Was RUDE TO MY NIECES, and the began being RUDE to All! He NEEDS TO FIRED AS A DRIVING COMPANY!! Customer is always right!
- gbrportland00Excellent planning for a custom self-guided group hiking tripIreland Walk Hike Bike organized a custom hiking trip for a group of friends and me that consisted of 2 days each on the Beara, Kerry, Dingle, and Burren Ways. That meant we had multiple reservations for BnBs and transports along the way - something we MIGHT have been able to guess about after hours of research on our own (which likely wouldn't have worked out very well). Instead, IWHB organized the whole thing for us at a very reasonable price - everything was arranged with access to an app that kept up on track with all of the plans (and also kept us on each trail - there are many points when we would not have been sure where to go without that route map!). Communication before and during the trip was excellent - our questions were answered promptly and we always appreciated that a local company had our backs as we wandered around the SW Ireland coastline. Kudos to this company - highly recommended!
- Simon D00Great Bike tour in Killarney.Did a bike tour in Killarney as part of a corporate trip and Ronan was fantastic as being the area to life with stories and relevant information. Loved it.
- SprinterDave00Highly recommendedI highly recommend Ireland Walk Hike Bike for organizing hiking (and other) tours in Ireland. We used them to organize our 11 day holiday in the Kerry Peninsula, which included 9 days of hiking the Kerry Way with luggage transfers. Company representatives met us personally at the beginning of our trip to go over details and answer any questions. They were very responsive to our inquiries both before and during the trip - even working with us to make some trip modifications requested by us during our hike. This company is local to the Kerry and Dingle Peninsulas so they have local contacts and knowledge.
- 157marcellaw00Amazing self-guided hike of the Dingle PeninsulaWhat a fantastic trip! The hike was well-organized (the app was great), and the accommodations were fabulous. Each inn we stayed at was meticulously clean, and our hosts could not have been nicer. The breakfast served at each inn were delicious and filling. This was our first time in Ireland, and the hike was the highlight of our trip. We had plenty of information about the hike beforehand, and staff was always available to assist throughout the hike. They even managed to ensure that we had five days of sunny weather :-).
- Rinjisherpa00Great hike on the Kerry WayWe did a modified self-guided Kerry Way hike with two days in Killarney before three days walking to Black Valley, Glencar and on to Glenbeigh. The company did a great job with communications, B&B bookings and itinerary. The hike was all we hoped for with dramatically different days of moss covered woods, open plains, and a walk down to the shore. September was ideal with comfortable temperatures and cloudless skies. The trail was almost unpopulated as were the accommodations.
- N5807GZdavidm00A week that was the highlight of our 3-week visit to IrelandWe had a terrific experience this August (2022) exploring the Dingle peninsula using the very useful tools and services provided by IWHB. Ours was the so-called "Comfort Hike," meaning our daily walks were shortened via taxi rides through the first parts of each walk; for a pair of septuagenarians not in perfect shape, though, the Comfort Hike option was very appropriate. (Also the short taxi rides gave us more opportunities to interact with Dingle residents!) We found the geolocating app IWHB provided to be genuinely terrific, and it worked throughout our walks. (Some of the cue sheet details could have been edited or updated, but then I'm a retired English prof, perhaps overly critical.) We also had good cell service almost everywhere, but that has nothing to do with IWHB! Communicating with the friendly people of IWHB was always quick and satisfactory; every one of the half dozen or so individuals we interacted with in person or by email from this company were on their toes. Excellent, careful attention to detail. I'd also praise the advance information they sent out, which really helped us prepare properly for the week's adventure. (That includes the fitness training videos they made available!). All the B&Bs we were placed in were satisfactory or better – we certainly slept well in each place! (Our B&B in Dingle town was extraordinary!) Each of the B&B owners was personable and helpful, and we were offered excellent breakfasts.
- emilyarmijo00Book with Maurice! This ended up being our favorite activity in all of Ireland! Maurice was the most wonderful guide and lovely person over all. We could have hung out and talked with him for another 6 hours after the hike! He did a great job at capturing lots of photos and videos for us to show our friends back home. The hike was insanely beautiful. Would recommend 10/10!
- David D00Great service, Fantastic guide!Just got back form a great trip! Ireland Walk Hike and Bike is a service oriented touring company from the coordinator, Niamh, to our fantastic guide, Joe O'Donnell. They went out of their way on several occasions to assure we had the best walking tour of the Burren, Aran Island and Connemara imaginable. The B&B's were perfect. Thank you to all!
- Mary Kate D00Repeat CustomerThis is our second time using Ireland Walk Bike Hike. We appreciate the great responses and thought that goes into planning each hike that we have done and tweaking it to our needs. We hiked the Kerry Way and started in Killarney doing the self guided hikes. We were impressed with the app that uses GPS to make sure that you are on the right path. ( an upgrade from our last Wicklow Way hike in 2018) Along with the many signs that keep you on the right path, the app was a great accessory. Since we went in March, there weren't many others on the trail and we did have some great weather. The accommodations that were booked for us were excellent and we enjoyed all the places and breakfasts! The transportation was also fantastic from each place. Our last day we did a guided hike with Maurice and we throughly enjoyed his conversation and patience and we were tired by the end of the week. He made the best of it and was a great end to our fantastic hiking week throughout the Kerry Way! I also want to say another thanks to Maurice as he was a great help in planning our entire trip and checking in to make sure we were enjoying our trip. We are looking forward to another trip!! Thanks to IWBH for creating great itineraries and accommodations!
- 50sNewEnglander00Great trekking experience with IWHBTrekked Wicklow Way 4 nights then traveled via train to Killarney and to trek Carrauntoohil via Coomloughra horseshoe and spent 3 more days trekking Kerry Way. Enjoyed working with IWHB to set it all up. Communication was easy and all arrangements were great. Trail notes, maps, info and interactive app made the self guided travel easy. Really enjoyed the guided trek with Maurice of Carrauntoohil via Coomloughra horseshoe. ( Note to others considering this - it makes for a long, strenuous day. Well worth it but challenging) Definitely consider IWHB if you are looking to have someone assist you with your travel arrangements. Highly recommend

What a wonderful touring company!!! Excellent communication and follow-through, and helpful every step of the way.
We had underestimated our abilities to hike 10-12+ miles per day, and emailed Francis at Ireland Walk Hike after our first day. He immediately revised our whole itinerary, to where we could still hike and experience the incredible beauty of Ireland, but shorter and more manageable (for us) distances. He also recommended and arranged lovely activities for us during our extra days in Killarney, and even stopped by to check on us.
We so appreciate Francis and everyone at Ireland Walk Hike Bike - Five Stars indeed!!!

My mom and I just returned from walking the Ring of Kerry with Ireland Walk Bike Hike and had the most wonderful experience. They might be the most professional team I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From the moment you book your holiday their representatives are there to help you throughout your trip planning and even go beyond their call of duty in booking your accommodations for after you finish your hike! Their GPS map service is also an extremely helpful touch and makes it so you can avoid dealing with a large and unruly paper map (although they provide on in case your phone dies). The B&B's they book are amazing as well. 10/10 would recommend.

IWHB was great to work with on my walking tour (Kerry Camino/Dingle Way), from initial information and coordination, to day-to-day check-ins and weather updates. Morris provided a lively and informative intro the day before I set up, ensuring I was set up to enjoy the hiking.
They are very well organized, friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I don't hesitate to recommend using them for one of their tours, I was very happy, surprised really, with how much they had to offer and the way they went about it all.
