About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Marybeth W0 contributionsBeautiful areaI enjoyed the tour of The Dingle Peninsula. Sheila and Sean were very good. Sheila was a lot of fun. Sean made many photo stops.Written September 18, 2024
- B631BXdeborahm0 contributionsDingle could be my future homeHow could we miss had Michael again such a gentleman loved Dingle and the ancient BeeHive another beautiful day great photosWritten September 18, 2024
- B631BXdeborahm0 contributionsGreat day to view the ring of Kerry!Loved seeing the mountains and sheep herding demo great sunny day to see the coast Michael was our driver very informative and witty so good tomorrow will plan for DingleWritten September 18, 2024
- M6855LDloria0 contributionsRing of KerryOur driver Denis was very entertaining and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour. It was a 5 hour tour with many stops and breaks. Very comfortable bus.Written September 18, 2024
- Peggy P0 contributionsA Fabulous Day Trip!I was with a party of 8 for the tour of Dingle and Slea Head last week and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The weather cooperated and our driver, Michael, was informative, courteous, and pleasant. He did not babble on and allowed us to take in the breathtaking scenery. You cannot go wrong booking this fabulous tour of one of the most scenic spots in Ireland!Written September 17, 2024
- 421morganm0 contributionsWe. Love. Michael.Firstly- we loved Michael. He was a very safe driver, full of information, and very ready to laugh. We stopped at a bunch of scenic spots for photos, ate a great lunch with an amazing view, and got to see so much the Irish countryside we would have never seen on our trip because we didn’t rent a car. Great time.Written September 17, 2024
- 558whitneyt0 contributionsWorth every pennyThis tour was well worth the price. We had Peter as our guide and Michael as our driver. Peter navigated the tiny roads while Peter gave us plenty of information. Each stop was breathtaking. This tour is was great because we sat up higher in the bus so we could see everything. And then nobody in our group had to worry / stress about driving.Written September 17, 2024
- S2255QQ0 contributionsNot what we expectedWe expected more time in Dingle. It was 60 minutes on the spot. There was a 60 minute stop in Slea Head at a museum — we were there hoping to see the shore. We stopped at Inch Beach. To take pictures. Other Tours went on the beach. We couldn’t. Other reviews of this tour show a stop to hold baby lambs. We passed a couple, but it was never mentioned. Driver was fine and witty. Told a lot of stories. If you want more time in beautiful Dingle and more time to spend on the beaches, either hire a car (it’s an easy drive) or find a different tour. This particular one would be ideal for seniors.Written September 16, 2024
- Q2389FZgregm0 contributionsWonderfulKudos to Bartholomew (Bat) O'Sullivan. We had a beautiful day and Bat even sang for us from time to time. I have been to Ireland many times and this was easily the best your that I have been on!Written September 16, 2024
- Kevin P0 contributionsWhat we wished we knew beforehand AND during the pandemic experienceWe started at Ross Castle with 5 other couples in a small open boat. This was fun and adventuresome. It was a little cold with a storm looming. We went around a lake, under a bridge and up a river. We got to a dock and thought we were done and were asked to do a small hike. No one in the group had a clue what we were doing. They couldn’t get the boat up the river with all of us in it so we did a hike to meet back up. We were 1/2 way!😂 The boat ride was 1 1/2 hours. We got to the gap and my wife and I were going to walk the whole way. Mike talked us into riding the jaunting cart 1/2 way. So glad we did. The storm hit and it would have been miserable. I’m glad we didn’t bike it is a pretty steep hill up and down. Mike and his horse Crazy Tom were incredible, we laughed and joked the whole way. We didn’t stop 1/2 way but walked last 15 minutes. We ate a good lunch at Kate’s. We LOVED all we learned from Mike. Had a great time. Just wished we would have known more what to expect. The people who took the bus first were wet and cold and had to take the boat back. We were glad we did the boat first. Just dress accordingly and enjoy whatever comes your wayWritten September 15, 2024
- Natalie W0 contributionsDingle PeninsulaOur driver, Michael, was very disengaged and seemingly agitated throughout the entire tour — he gave very little commentary and shared zero passion for the job he was hired to do. If I could give this tour zero stars, I would. This tour was an absolute letdown from beginning to end. Without question, I would recommend using an alternate tour operator such as Rabbie’s over Deros.Written September 13, 2024
- wils1870 contributionsExcellent Deros tours from KillarneyWe used Deros for the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry (driver Michael). Both trips were outstanding. Very nice bus accommodations. Fun and interesting stops, including efficient lunch stops. I believe they are locally operated. We are from Wyoming and the scenery on both trips was beautiful! Highly recommend both bus tours.Written September 12, 2024
- anniejV8194YU0 contributionsBest Killarney ExperienceA great company! The staff at Deros were very friendly & extremely accommodating. Thank you Ann, for all your help. The day was amazing… boat trip through the lakes was picturesque & Cahill was full of information & passion for the area. Walked from Lord Brandon’s Cottage through Gap of Dunloe … the best way to see everything up close, but allow plenty of time - 2.5hrs+, as the climb is a bit slow. Wendy & BruceWritten September 12, 2024
- theparkees0 contributionsGap of DunloeThe tour was great we were told to be at office at 10.15am bus left on time but we had to stop to pick another person up from a hotel they were at least 10 minutes late so we didn’t arrive at Kate Kearney cottage til about 10.50am. We were walking the gap & were told it can take 2hr 30min to walk it & we had to be at Lord Brandon’s by 2pm as that is when boats leave. My only suggestion is that the tour could actually leave at 9 or 9.30 allowing plenty of time to walk, take photos & enjoy scenery 😊Written September 12, 2024
- marciawP3804OV0 contributionsA Good ExperienceThis tour was very nice. Ireland is so lovely, and we got to see a lot on this excursion. The itinerary was very good, and the bus was excellent.Written September 11, 2024

The Ring of Kerry has wonderful views of the coast and you can swim and surf in the ocean. Killarney national park is beautiful and has carriage rides and walking trails and some wild life. The lakes and falls are nice but nothing like Yellowstone or Banf or even Switzerland. When it come to wildlife, majestic falls and beautiful lakes and scenery. Stopping and seeing 1,000 year old churches and castles in every town was fascinating. I enjoyed seeing the thousands of rocks used to make fences and thinking about all the handwork and perseverance that was needed to pick those rocks from the fields and create the kilometers of fences. Seeing the gardens and thatched roof cottages was also nostalgic.

Amazing scenery & terrific customer service with booking & driver. They use the smaller coaches with way less people which is a better way to travel

We toured two days with Deros tours. We did ring of kerry and Dingle Peninsula! Both tour bus drivers did a wonderful job! Thanks Ray & Morris! You two are the best. Very informative and even though the weather was the best, they made the trip absolutely the best! We were on a self drive trip but so happy we did tours with Deros!

Bat (Bartholomew) made the tour great. Many stops along the journey for photos. Views at our lunch sop overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the Ring of Kerry was breathtaking. Border collie sheep herding stop was fabulous. Dingle and Slea Head On day 2 was awesome. The beehive house stop was not great but the views were awesome. Lunch in the town Dingle at Paudie’s was nice, with shopping time in town. Bat can maneuver the large bus like nobody else while telling lively history, stories and jokes. We would highly recommend this tour.

Countryside and coastlines are spectacular and a must see. You will see them by both land and sea and should not be missed. One of the highlights of the trip.

This was the first tour I took in Killarney after Dublin and the rest paled in comparison. Ray our guide was THE BEST!! He was such an amazing story teller, and the information I learned with him made me the most informed visitor on every other tour we took and we did more in our time in out time here. I can’t say enough good things about our guide and the memories we made we will be laughing at his jokes for years to come when describing the locations we visited. If you do no other tours this is the one you can’t miss!

Could you tell me if there is parking at the departure point ? we are staying outside of Killarney and will be driving in to catch the bus. Also, how far away is the drop off spot at the end of the tour? Would we have to walk back to the departure spot to get our car?
