Excellent and very well organized
We took the Cliffs and Aran Islands cruise trip. Our driver and tour guide "red head John" (he prefers this name I guess ) was so amazing. He told us about each and every important places we passed by during the journey, just the amount of info necessary and not overdoing it .
We had photo stops at different places during the journey and tips as well as to what to do around .
My first travel with a tour company and I think I will recommend them to anyone who plans to go to places around Galway.

Off to the Aran islands and the cliffs of moher
Sep 2019
This was a last minute tour and we were aloud to book from the hotel. They picked us up at the hotel and had a very informed guide. J.B was friendly helpful and funny. The ferry to the island and the ride on the boat to experience the Cliffs from the water is a great idea. Then lunch in Dolin before the drive home. We were lucky to have great weather but if you don't be prepared for some waves. This tour is all day with stops along the way to get off and see an area but not to get on somewhere else

Great history and wonderful landscape
Oct 2019
This was a spectacular journey. The ferry ride was exciting , not too bumpy . On arrival to the Innis Irr ,PJ fromGalway tour mad arrangements for us to take a buggy and trap ride around the island after a brief lunch. Food at the "Bar" was very good. Soup was hot; garlic bread and ribs very flavorful. The buggy ride was incredible. On our return ferry we travelled under the Cliffs and the ferry Captain provided a great narrative on the history of the Cliffs. We took a brief lunch stop at Gus O'Connors in Doolin . PJ had advised the restaurant that we were coming and they were able to provide hot delicious food quickly. The final stop was at the top of the Cliffs of Moher . This view was breathtaking .... Do not miss this tour through Galway Tours! Hope you get PJ though I bet all drivers are great.

Good experience and worth the boat ride.

You will find the stone fences amazing - so many stones! Take the carriage ride, the island is a bit big to check out within the few hours that you are there and the driver has info to share. There are a couple of nice tea rooms/restaurants and an excellent sweater shop. The sea voyage can be rough getting there and you may not see the Cliffs of Moher behind the fog - at least that's what happened to us. No issues, though, the island was worth the trip.

We had a fabulous tour director-driver!!!!
Sep 2019
Our tour director-driver was Michael Rooney. He was pleasant and helpful. He entertained us with jokes at times. During the drive he explained the whole history of Ireland. It was really informative. He instructed us carefully about our movements getting off the bus and assembling on the dock prior to boarding the ship. Again, when debarking he gave us further instructions about gathering together. He told us he was planning to take a walk on the island and if anyone wanted to go with him that would be fine. I was with my two daughters and one son-in-law. We and about 10 or 12 others opted to go with him. He took us to an old cemetery where there was an excavated underground chapel. We walked up a hill to a coffee shop/bar. Then went up a long hill to where there was an old fort or lookout tower. It was great to see how the people would have been able to see approaching ships and prepare to defend themselves, if necessary. The walk up there was a bit difficult, rather steep and the path was uneven. The young people had no problem, and Michael kindly assisted me part of the time. He told us some of the history of the island.

When we left the island and boarded the bus, he went back to Galway by a different route so we got to see different landscapes. We had a chance to rest a little on the bus. After while he conversed with us again and then, he favored us with a beautifully sung rendition of the song about the legendary fishmonger, Molly Malone, about 4 or 5 verses. I must say that I don't think the tour could have been any better. My family was extremely pleased with everything about it. A couple of days later, we met someone else who had gone on his tour and they were very happy with everything Michael Rooney did.
