- carlm3430 contributionsGreat tour!Owen (not the Irish spelling!) was amazing. Local unbiased knowledge with a great explanation of the culture. We enjoyed his tour, his company, and highly recommended this tour!Written September 8, 2024
- Nomad371668003930 contributionsExcellent walking tour!My husband and I did a 4 hour walking tour of Dublin today with Dave as our guide. We highly recommend him! Dave is very knowledgeable, funny, and full of back stories about the places we visited and the people involved. He is also very flexible about what you wish to see and how much time you want to spend in each place. We never had a dull moment and highly recommend him as a guide!Written August 30, 2024
- Quest582089803710 contributionswas very informative and was a great day weather wise so we fully enjoyed it .Our experience started when a few days before the tour our tour guide Patrick contacted us asking what our expectations were . He was one of the best tour guides we've ever had . Patrick was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. We loved every minute money of our tour .Written August 25, 2024
- J8366SXdonk0 contributionsTOP NOTCH EXPERIENCEJose Luis was a great guide. Knowledgeable but did not mire us in detail if we weren’t interested in hearing more. He adjusted to what we wanted and didn’t want. He conveyed implicitly why he loves Dublin. I felt like we were getting the inside view from a new friend. If you can afford the extra cost of a personalized tour, it’s well worth it.Written August 23, 2024
- 879ellenp0 contributionsA wonderful personalized experience!Paddy was a wonderful guide for our Dublin City tour. We had a range of family members from 6 to 83 years old, and he kept it interesting for everyone. We especially appreciated his thoughtful and candid answers about his country, giving us many insights to go with the landmarks we visited.Written August 18, 2024

- bwcc500 contributionsSimply SplendidWow what a way to be introduced to Ireland! The perfect blend of fun, facts and folly as only Dom the legend could do! A wonderful experience and made a solo tour magical!Written June 21, 2024
- jamessC2160YA0 contributionsAurora and Dublin are both charming!Aurora is absolutely adorable. We had such fun walking around this beautiful city with her. She is not native to Dublin but I suspect that she knows the city's history better than most natives. My wife had recently had a knee replacement and she was so sweet to point out hazards and avoid steps. She she even walked us all the way to the train station so we wouldn't get turned around. What a doll!Written June 18, 2024
- 340judyc0 contributionsUnderwhelmingUnfortunately our tour guide did not really take us on a tour. We had to ask him to take us places but were not prepared for needing to have an itinerary of our own in advance. We thought he would take us to specific places. So there was some hesitating and stalling. For example, we got to Trinity College and just stood there…tic…toc…so where should we go next, I would ask! We were told that all the books had been taken out of the long room and that was not accurate. When he showed us Dublin castle we asked to go in and it wasn’t a castle it was just a government building, and he wasn’t allowed in so we had to leave and we had paid for his ticket. Not awful but not worth the money!Written June 10, 2024
- Vacation601660047550 contributionsDublin in a day highlightsJose did a nice job sharing the highlights of our day in Dublin. Even though he was not originally from there he seemed to know a good bit about the city. It was sometimes difficult to hear him as we walked through the sites. (Only reason for a 4). Would recommend Viator for this excursion.Written June 8, 2024
- Alan R0 contributionsSuburb versus downtiwnWe had requested a downtown central city if sights and we went to a suburb. Guide was a smart wonderful person but we had hoped to see the classic sights as thus was our only afternoon in Dublin.Written May 29, 2024
- Guide528120727380 contributionsJose Luis was a great guide! We had a great tour with Jose Luis! He was very nice and really tailored the tour to our interests and requests. He clearly did a lot of research and prep work before the tour and our contact with him pre-tour was very good.Written May 27, 2024
- skippy980750 contributionsSolo dublin tourPatrick Johnston put together a last minute tour for me. We walked for two hours where he pointed out historic sites and provided historical commentary. I learned alot in a fun way. Patrick also pointed out where to eat ..his favorite places. He gave great tips to keep me save as a solo traveler.Written May 25, 2024

Our experience with the guide was okay. I was disappointed in the fact that he seemed unprepared for our tour. I had provided information regarding what we wanted the tour to cover, but there was a significant amount of time spent just walking around without commentary or purpose. For our group, there was a need for him to speak louder and wait on our entire group before delivering commentary. And I hate to say it, because he seemed like a really nice man, but in order for him to put his very best professional foot forward, I would like to kindly suggest that he pay a little more attention to his appearance (nose & ear hairs) and his personal hygiene. That being said, he seemed like a very knowledgeable man with a love for the city, was personable, had a good sense of humor and was helpful. I think with some adjustments, he can be an excellent guide!

Are all these places just "pass by" or is there time to visit any? Is this a walking tour? Can we arrange pick up at the cruise port? Can we add extra hours/stops?

Hello, if we'd like to visit Kilmainham Gaol as part of this trip are you able to get entrance tickets?
Thanks, Amy
