What to Expect
Led by two Irish musicians, this Dublin Traditional Irish Musical Pub Crawl provides an understanding of the importance of music in Irish culture, with live performances at each stop. This tour doesn’t include drinks (own expense), but it does offer seating in private rooms (seats are hard to come by in Dublin pubs) in the two pubs visited during the night.
Choose from two separate tours which both begin in central Dublin. The earlier tour finishes in Flanagan’s for dinner, while the later tour finishes in Brannigan’s off O’Connell Street. The musicians are your guides for the evening, and everyone walks together to the two pubs on the tour. This is a fun, engaging, and informative evening of Irish culture.

We were treated to a lovely evening of music and culture. Two musicians took us through Dublin and told us the history of the songs and instruments and the role that music plays in Irish culture. Three pubs in total and a very entertaining time.
What a great evening! I was traveling alone and would have felt weird going to a bar alone to see bands play so this was great! The musicians told stories and taught is about the music and instruments and they were really great. It felt...More
Alan and Andy were both talented musicians and entertaining storytellers. Much of the music they played was original which was a bonus. The stories and musical history they shared just further enhanced the experience. Worth doing if you have the time. Not recommended for anyone...More

Yes pre-book is best. But be aware that this is not a pub crawl as the title suggests. Its dinner, that you pay for, and two people playing instruments. There is very little opportunity to actually be loud, drink, and free spirited like in a normal irish pub.

you meet on fleet street at Oliver St. John Gogartys Bar in the Temple bar area around 6pm. I will say tho its over very late at night. Probably around 9pm. Its about a 50 minute walk from the port. A Taxi is cheap and easy and it takes around 16 minutes this way. The busses work as well but you may have to wait plus there is figuring that out nd it will take about 35 minutes by buss.. I would suggest not doing the bus because you will have only one or two days it sounds like. I would Taxi over there and just walk around. Plenty of awesome bars. About this "PUB" crawl. Its not really a pub crawl. The only pub you go to is the one you meet at and you dont do anything there but meet. Then leave immediately when everyone shows up. You can freely walk around this same area and find plenty of live music. There are several awesome bars, If your not sure ask anyone on the street for live music and dont be surprised if they name 10 places. I spent a couple weeks in this city trying everything and this music "PUB" crawl was my worst decision. If you want to message me I will suggest some great pubs that play live music.
