- Elizabethulm230 contributionsDublin Food TourA must do! We had an amazing experience with Heather and learned so much about the food scene in Dublin as well as learned about the history and culture of the city. She also gave us great recommendations for around Dublin and for other cities we are visiting on our trip! Can’t say enough good things about Heather, she was very genuine and we are so glad we got to meet her! Because of our experience with Heather, we booked another food tour in the next city we are going to!Written October 11, 2022
- 145annemarieh0 contributionsTerrific!I enjoyed the entire experience. I loved the Irish Coffee. It is the best I have ever had. The scones were fabulous as was the ice cream and the stews. Ketty is a terrific guide.Written October 7, 2022
- Reviews_by_Lee0 contributionsNot Impressed1st let me say that Ketty was a very interesting person and very knowledgeable. The reason i have only rated this 2 stars is that for the cost of $75 USD we had been treated to very little in the way of foods. The stop for Irish stew was great as we got to sample more than a thimble full of something. That was nice. the other places with the other exception of the oysters where many people opted not to try them was also good. The rest was simply not worth the amount of money the tour cost per person. I would not be able to recommend this tour to anyone unfortunately.Written August 2, 2019
- RobinUSA0 contributionsExcellentI enjoyed going around visiting different places...coffee, fresh bakery, cheese, lunch, ice cream, whiskey. I had the best hot chocolate at #Vice. A raspberry scone at #camerinos, #boxty we tried 3 different stews and 2 breads along with a choice of beer...or in my case cider, #best ice cream at #mirphys, cheese sampling at #sheridanscheesemongers, our last stop at #celticwhiskeyshop...Ketty help me see a different side of Dublin.Written November 15, 2018
- Karen E0 contributionsYou must do this tour!I do a walking tour in every city I visit. This is one of the best. Ketty is genuinely enthusiastic about Dublins food scene and a terrific guide to hidden culinary treasures that you won't find in tourist literature. Come to the tour with room in the belly. You will have plenty of tastes.Written November 4, 2018

- Jill A0 contributionsFood tourBrilliant tour run by Ketty. Her knowledge of Irish food and the history of food in Ireland added such a great insight to the tour. The places that Ketty took us I could not have found by myself, and all the food and drinks were amazing. Highly recommended ♡Written September 7, 2018
- jnand201420170 contributionsHistory of Ireland through foodWhat a great way to spend a morning -- learning about the history of this beautiful country through its surprisingly diverse cuisine. Ketty's knowledge was impressive, meeting local food entrepreneurs was fascinating, and the food was, of course, wonderful. Highly recommended!Written August 19, 2018
- Bridget K0 contributionsFantastic Tour! This tour was a wonderful experience. Ketty loves food and Dublin and that was obvious from this tour. She brought us to places we would never have found on our own, several of which we made sure to go back to before we left Dublin. She was informed, informative, opinionated in the best way, and a joy to spend part of the day with. All of the places we went made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to share their products and knowledge with us. Highly recommend!Written July 23, 2018
- Maggie K0 contributionsSo soKetty was super knowledgeable and pleasant. I really enjoyed spending the day learning about the history of Irish food with her. But... I’ve taken about a dozen food tours all over the world, and this one was underwhelming. The tastings chosen were not that interesting (coffee, scone, 2 cheeses, ice cream). The 2 stops I liked were the selection of stews and the market. (If you’re in Dublin on a Saturday, go to the Temple Bar food market on your own for lunch. It would be fun to sample several dishes.) Except the stews, there was nothing particularly unique to Ireland and nothing that I hadn’t tried before. This was the first tour I had experienced that lack of surprise. Overall I enjoyed the day, but I had hoped to discover something new that I might not have tried on my own.Written July 22, 2018
- EKM10100 contributionsWorth itThis was a lovely way to spend 3 hours in the heart of Dublin. Ketty was knowledgeable and engaging. The food stops were memorable—places we made a pint to return to. Best of all we met some really great people from England, Ireland, France , and the US. I recommend it.Written July 22, 2018

So much fun!! Ketty is so educated on the rising food scene around Dublin and shares all her knowledge with the group. She brought us to some amazing spots we would not of known otherwise, and have us a list of suggestions for us to try on our own. We went to a couple and have yet to be disappointed! She mixes history of the country in with their food scene which lets you appreciate the amazing taste even more.

Great food tour and history offered. Ketty is a great guide, knowledgeable and chose a good balance of our 5 stops. The Trip Advisor states this is a 90 min tour and it is not, Ketty said at the start it would be 3 hrs so be prepared for that. We had 2 kids with us, hard to manage the nut allergy and also we paid the same for 7 and 12 treads olds as the adults. But it was very well done.

We love to start every trip to a foreign city with a food tour. This did not disappoint. Our tour guide Heather was fantastic. The perfect combination of wit and knowledge of food and the history of Dublin. Each of the 5 stops were amazing. The best scone I have ever had for sure was on this tour. Each establishment was so welcoming. Our guide clearly had a great relationship with all of the places we stopped. Heather also was a wealth of knowledge for places to eat for the remainder of our trip not only in Dublin but throughout Ireland. It was so enjoyable and I would highly recommend to anyone to begin your stay in Dublin with this tour as it involved places on both sides of the river and gave a good understanding of how wonderfully walkable a city Dublin really is. Don't miss this tour.

My first activity in any new major city is to sign up for a walking food tour. It’s a great way to learn the city, hear the history and find unique and guaranteed fantastic food spots in an otherwise crowded space. Our Tour Guide Lisa led us on a spectacular food tour of Dublin and we got way more than we expected. I highly recommend this tour and our knowledgeable, thoughtful, contagious tour guide, Lisa!

Dublin may not be known for its food, but this is a great tour of the fine food in pubs and restaurants in Dublin led by the vivacious Ketty. We sampled lovely scones, Irish coffee, pork, lamb and beef stews in little cups, heavenly ice cream and last, some hard and soft cheeses, each at a different eatery. Along the way, we were treated to a history of the particular pub or restaurant and a description of what we were eating. Our small group of 8 consisted of a Dutch mother and son, a couple from the States and two Irish couples, a very congenial and fun group, made better by Ketty, who included everyone in the talk and food experience. Don't miss this one!

We did this tour the morning after we arrived and couldn't have been happier. Sinead was funny, sweet, and extremely knowledgeable and gave us a tantalizing peek into the Irish and Dublin food scene both past and present. She also was full of interesting tidbits about all things Dublin (best shopping tips!) Her tour was enjoyed by the entire range of people in our group from young to old, novice to expert. Highly recommend!

Ketty was SO knowledgeable, so friendly, and so skilled as she showed us around in the pouring rain! She worked so hard to keep us as dry as possible, and took us to some truly magnificent tasty treats! This isn't even a criticism, but I wish the brochure she'd left us with at the end had MORE recommended Dublin restaurants, especially in the mid range as a third or so were (understandably) out of our price range. Book this trip!! You not only get a great introduction to Irish food, but you get a walking tour of interesting parts of the city!

Book this tour! Heather was our fabulous guide. She was perfectly informative and is a natural at her job. The passion she has for food, and her pride for Ireland shows. The tour is well-paced and hit all the highlights I was looking for. I appreciated that the restaurants are vetted, and they focus on supporting locals with an interesting story. This tour was one of my favorites and I appreciate that Heather was appreciative to those that booked it. She is also very knowledgeable if you're looking for additional recommendations.

We couldn’t decide which tour to go on and our hotel(Trinity City ) recommended this one. We were not disappointed
Sinead is a wonderful guide - a real ray of sunshine. She is passionate and knowledgeable about Ireland and Irish food and drink. She also added so much history to the narrative so we really understood so much more of the history of the place.
She took us to five artisan restaurants and bars no big corporations and each place was proud of what they produced.
From the fresh scones and homemade jam
To the Irish lamb stew beef with stout and pork stews everything was made to a high standard.
Artisan cheeses made in cork and brown bread and sea salt icecream.
There was plenty of everything and if someone didn’t eat one of the choices there was usually an alternative, especially in the wig wam bar.
Interesting, fun and tasty what could be better
Would highly recommend

I’m sure you can, at one stop I purchased a bottle of water without asking. At another stop I purchased a cocktail since I don’t like beer, and there were no issues. I would recommend contacting her to let her know your allergy. She might be able to make accommodations in advance, or even let you know if this wouldn’t be the right tour for you.
