- 127anandac0 contributionsA GREAT CHEF IS AN ARTIST THAT I TRULY RESPECTI would like to express our sincere thanks and delight at the food you prepared for us over (chef KEVIN). All of our guests were also impressed at the super quality of the food - it was very tempting for me to try and claim that I did the cooking but the standard was so professional that there is no way any amateur could get near. It is difficult to single out any one dish as they were all memorable but Dall was particularly special.’probably the best homemade Indian food we had in Dublin .....I went to meet personally the chef and even to his manager and the business owner Mr Johnnie for looking after our group so well ....thank you for your hospitality a day to remember...Written July 14, 2024

- andydM5545JS0 contributionsSo disappointing for so many different reasons ...First, I'd like to start with the positives because there were a few. Not enough to make this a better-than-one-star review, but I want to be fair. When we arrived, we were greeted outside by a couple of people, including the owner. They were also greeting a tour group that had just arrived in a bus, but were very gracious. Though, I had paid for two adults, unsure whether my daughter counted as a child or not, we had another family member visiting Ireland at the same time who decided to join us. On arriving, we asked how to pay for the additional family member, and they said not to worry about it, which was really kind. So, what was wrong? 1. Taylors if far from the center of Dublin. It cost us 25 to 30 euro each way in a cab. The person who greeted us said most of their business is tour groups ... the night we went, there were three large groups (i.e. 50+ people) and three individual bookings like ours. 2. The good seats are all reserved for the tour groups. We had an option of being all the way at the side of the stage or having a slightly better view but being next to the hall where the entrance to the bathroom was. We chose the second option, which turned out to be a poor decision because there was a steady stream of people walking in front of us, including other people heading for the bathroom and servers coming up from downstairs. Not their fault that we made that decision and it affected the experience but wouldn't have affected this review rating. 3. The dinner and show were scheduled for 6:30, but it was really like dinner from 6:30 to 8 and then show from 8 to 9:30. There was a lot of just sitting around and waiting for the show to begin. 4. The food was poor. Not "not good" or "mediocre." I saw another review that called it an average pub dinner, and that's generous. It's a three-course dinner. For the first course, all three in our party ordered Taylor's famous seafood salad. The other option was a soup. The salad was flat-out bad. It wasn't even presented nicely. For the second course, I ordered salmon, which was okay. My daughter and niece ordered the turkey&ham (both come on the same dish) and neither ate much of anything on their plates. The dessert was an apple slice. My daughter and I each tried a bite and pushed it aside. My niece ate none of hers. 5. The dancing was amateurish. Our local pub (near Boston) sometimes has a Sunday market in their parking lot where kids do step-dancing and do a much better job. I'm not sure if some of the performers were new ... it looked like they were missing steps and were frequently not in unison. 6. The singing was hard to understand. All three of us agreed about that. I mentioned that it took me most of the whole first song to figure out it was something about Dublin Town. My daughter said, "It was?" We couldn't understand much of anything they were saying. 7. It was incredibly corny. Earlier in the same day, we'd heard a guitarist sing "Danny Boy" and a bunch of other songs at Temple Bar. His version was so much better than the acted-out rendition that they did at Taylors. This was the equivalent of going to Rome and having musicians sing "That's Amore." Ultimately, it didn't feel Irish ... it felt like a stereotype of what people who've never seen Irish people think they must be like. After about 30 minutes of the show, we made a beeline for the exit door. In all, we spent about 240 euro on dinner, a couple of drinks, and cab fare (for three people). My advice: Instead of spending the money for a cheesy show (plus the cab fare there and back), go out to dinner and then head to one of the many venues around the Temple Bar area that have live music. (There are places to go for live music all over, though.) More specifically, go to Mister S to eat, which is amazing and then go to O'Donoghue's or Temple Bar, or the Old Storehouse, or wherever. You'll get way better value for your money. For what it's worth, the live music venues we went to were both free to get into on the day we went (a Monday). Temple Bar and The Old Storehouse in Dublin both allowed kids to come in. (I think, in general, kids are allowed in those venues until 10pm.)Written July 4, 2024
- techster810 contributionsEntertaining but crowdedThe entertainment was excellent but it was VERY crowded, 9 bus loads of people. You had to eat with your elbows tucked in and the food was good but not great. Service left something to be desired. We asked three times but my wife never got her Irish coffee.Written July 4, 2024

The dancers and the main singer and musicians were so good and great with the audience. If you love Irish music and dancers then this is the show to see when in Ireland.Written June 5, 2024

- Eric M0 contributionsDisappointingFour of us dropped in following a nice walk in Ticknock famished. The waitress who took our order seemed as if she wanted to be elsewhere. Only three of our orders arrived to the table. Upon bringing this to the attention of the waitress there was no apology only a 'it will be a few more minutes having consulted the kitchen'. At this stage the other three of us were well into our meals and my wife declined to receive her order as 'the moment had passed'. Staff training and attitude when dealing with customers needs to be improved for such situations. Won't be back.Written October 29, 2023
- Ginamla0 contributionsUnforgettable fun! This was one of the highlights of a group tour of Ireland & Scotland! Food was surprisingly good, but the entertainment was outstanding. The singing & dancing really put everyone in a party mood. Don’t miss it when near Dublin!Written October 16, 2023

- 646maryanng0 contributionsSuch a great experience, we are coming backTaylor's Three Rock dinner show is a fabulous experience. The food is good, the show is lively and very entertaining and the price is fair. I brought my group back again in July. I have already booked for July 2024. After the show I asked one of my passengers that has come on our trip before, if he thought it was ok to have this dinner show on our itinerary again for next year since a good portion of our passengers come back on our trip again. He excitedly said "Yes, of cause why would they not!"We our the NYPD Emerald Society group. We have come to Taylor's several times. We are always treated very well and it is one of our highlights on our trip. Our experience is such a positive one, I will be bringing my group plus our Band's group to Taylor's dinner show next year.Written August 16, 2023
- AttySwFl0 contributionsFun and enjoyable experience. Definitely worthwhile and a good time.Show was worth the experience. We booked as an excursion through Globus tours and enjoyed the singing and dancing. The service was efficient and the food acceptable but nothing to be excited about. The Irish coffee seemed weak and watered down, no one in our party drank it. The wine and Guinness were good. As to the show, the performers moved around the theater and there was a male step dancer who even danced on our table. The comedic bits were fun as well. Fortunately, we came for the show not the food. Overall I recommend attending it was very enjoyable.Written July 16, 2023

On our last evening in Ireland, our Tour Manager, Sheila O'Connell with Gate 1 Travel told the tour group she was taking us all out for a surprise dinner around 6:30 pm. So when time came, we boarded our motor coach and off we went not knowing where we would end.
We arrived at Taylors Three Rock Pub where we enjoyed an evening of sparling Irish song, music, laughter and dance. Also featuring the Taylor World class Irish dancers and Junior World Champion Kelly Morris plus featuring Irish Comedian, Noel Ginnity.
Our large group filled up two long tables and a small half table for this 2 hours of entertainment. There was a large crowd of additional groups that filled up the entire Three Rock Pub.
We enjoyed a 4-course dinner - from which we selected a glass of white wine,
the whole wheat bread, Roast root vegetable soup, Taylors Irish lamb stew, Traditional turkey & ham, Irish coffee, Bromley apple slice and the option for additional wine & drink beverages.
All in all, it was the perfect fitting on our last enjoyable night in Ireland before heading home to the USA.

This was way more fun than I expected. It was further from city center than we expected and it cost us 60 Euros to get there (two cabs). The cab drivers also told us we were going to have trouble getting picked up after the show. HOWEVER, the owner of the place said he was aware of the problem and arranged for free buses to take everyone back to town that night (saving us 60 Euros and a lot of hassle). That is fantastic customer service. We tried to pay something but the owner said to "just throw some bonnies my way." (I take that to mean good reviews...so here goes.)
Because we weren't part of a tour group, we had a small table near the entrance to the bathroom (which was of course very busy) but it turned out not to matter. The food was good but the show was GREAT. I'd go out there again just to see the show. The music and dancers were FANTASTIC. It was so lively and fun that the three hours flew by and I was sorry when it was over.

Taylor Three Rock show with Irish traditional dinner was wonderful. Dinner started with a choice of two starters, then a choice from 4 main dishes. The dessert was Apple and you finished with an Irish coffee. The service was fast and food was delicious. The show started at 8 pm with Irish dancers, musicians and singers. I would recommend it to give visitors a taste of Irish hospitality and showmanship. 5 stars!

Very fun and memorable! I enjoyed the food and the service was wonderful, try the Irish Stew!
The music was authentic to Ireland and it was great to see the camaraderie between all the performers. Soulful singers, passionate dancers, and expert musicians -- everyone was extremely talented and the performers keep you on your toes (expect some audience participation). I hope people who experience this enjoy it as much as I did.

We were on a group tour and this was one of the optional experiences. The food was good, the servers excellent, and the show was fantastic. The food was several courses, and you had options for each course. The show was very entertaining and shared much of the history of Ireland. The performers got the audience involved throughout the show. The singers, musicians, and dancers were all terrific. The only downside was the merchandise after the show. The cds were for sale, but had to be paid with cash. No credit cards.

On a weekend trip to Dublin, celebrating my niece's graduation from college, we chose this as our intro to Dublin and what a great choice it was! The venue sent a car from us and returned us, after a fabulous evening of entertainment and food. The food was excellent (as was the whiskey, even though I'm normally not a fan) and the entertainment was top notch. We were there just 4 days after they had re-opened and what I remember most was the absolute joy that every single performer showed. From the newest to the most seasoned, the sheer enjoyment that each of them had being back on stage and their love of their country shone through.
I forgot my purse and the house manager assured it got back to me, one of several measures of hospitality that made this the perfect beginning to our trip.

The hotel is well known for the Irish show it puts on with three musicians who play Irish folk songs and six dancers. They invited audience participation and the room was filled with laughter and singing as well as some audience members who got to demonstrate their Irish dancing skills. The meal was pretty good too. A fun night out!

The entertainment was fabulous! We clapped and sang along all night. We went as part of a travel group so we paid a different price and did not have dinner, but some of the kids were hungry and the proprietor sent out stew for them anyway. Definitely one of the best parts of our trip and I would recommend!

This show is a must see for anyone in the Dublin area. The food was great and the performance was excellent. The musicians are very talented, the dancers are athletic and graceful, and the duo performing ballads and traditional Irish songs have beautiful voices. It is a good sized room where everyone in the audience had a good seat.

What a great night. Was seated fast with a beautiful Irish greeting. Menu was very nice and suited my family. Before show video displayed before the show while eating your meal about the history of Irish dancing was a good introduction to the show. Food was fast and very good amounts. A very wide range of drinks from the bar to suit all drinkers either alcoholic or not. Music started with a bang.... Audience were engaged all throughout the show and fun was had by all. I can easily recommend this for all families and couples regardless of age as everybody made to feel welcome.
