We could not have been happier with our experience! Owen was our fantastic driver who navigated small and winding roads and made us feel very safe and comfortable the entire trip. Kevin was our tour guide who went the extra mile to make our journey interesting and informative. You can tell that he is very passionate about what he does and the history of Ireland. There were plenty of well-timed stops along the way on this trip and we loved getting to see the Burren and Galway. We felt we received the full value of the money spent on this trip and would highly recommend it!!

We had a wonderful trip! Our guide, Sean, was fabulous! He was attentive and always checking to make sure everyone was comfortable. He provided insights about various locations along the way, charging cords for people who needed to borrow them to charge their devices, and he even had a few different customized Irish music playlists for the journey, as well as a website for us to view providing even more history and information about the sites (which he prepared on his own while the tours were suspended due to covid). At one point, he regaled us with a song. At the stops, he made helpful suggestions about where to go and what to see, (and what not to do), and he even offered to take photos of us so our whole group could be in the picture. Our driver Gerry was also friendly, accommodating and helpful. The bus was much roomier than the tour bus we took in London. We were very fortunate to have a beautiful day to view the Cliffs and Galway. I highly recommend this trip if you want to get a view of the Irish countryside, the Cliffs, the “west coast” and a bustling Irish city.

Started the day off with a clearly marked pickup location bright and early in the morning. Anthony was our guide and Peter was the driver. Both of them were lovely keeping the passengers entertained on the bus ride from pointing out landmarks to walking down the aisle to engage with passengers. Anthony always wanted to make sure everyone was having a great time as well as making sure the passengers were comfortable. Cliffs of Moher, Galway and the Burren Walks are all worth seeing dedicating a day to seeing.

An amazing day trip on the hottest day of 2022. Our bus was brand new and had 2 USB ports for charging and great AC. Our guide Richard and driver Peter were absolute pros. Richard gave great information and played a wide variety of Irish music to pass the time. It is a full day and 13 hrs may seem like a lot; however, you see so much of Ireland. We drove through small towns and villages, and saw many castles, The tour is paced nicely between driving and rest stops. You are never on the bus for longer than 2 hrs at a time. Obviously, the weather will play the biggest factor in how much you will enjoy it, but that’s Mother Nature and has nothing to do with the tour company. They just provide a solid experience to get you there. And that is why Wild Rover has so many 5 star reviews. Tips: We booked on a Sunday so traffic was light. Tour had 3 full buses. I recommend going early to Hotel Rui plaza vs the 2nd pick up spot so you can get a better seat or at least have more options. You have the same seat the entire time, so make sure you like it. Also, if you want to have the best view of the Atlantic coastline, sit on the left side.

This trip was easily the highlight of our experience in Ireland, and Antonio and Sidney were to thank for that! Highly recommend doing this trip near the beginning of your journey as Antonio’s diary of the best pubs, food, drinks, music and speakeasies of Dublin were priceless. The best breakfast we had, the coolest music we saw and the best ambiances and people we met were all thanks to Antonio’s expertise revealed at the end of the journey. Sidney navigated through some of the toughest turns and was always patient with us as travelers. Antonio was so knowledgeable about everywhere we went-from the small towns to the cliffs, and Galway and Dublin! He went above and beyond and provided an amazing soundtrack to make the bus trip fly by and even set songs to specific locations too. He answered every question or concern we had and made sure to give Sidney all of the credit he deserved in making the trip go smoothly. They were an incredibly entertaining pair and I can’t imagine the trip with anyone else! The timing of the trip was perfect and you had just enough time to fully explore the cliffs and parts of Galway too! Try to take in all of the views along the ride and soak up all of the facts you can get. Unforgettable experience and we would recommend this for a couple or a group!

The trip was a great experience. Our guide was David. During the bustrip he told very interesting and funny stories about irish buildings and the history of the country. He spoke very clearly and slow enough, so everybody could understand him (also unskilled Englisch speakers like me).
The bus driver, named Louis, was also a very funny person. He drove very fast but also safe.
I can highly recommend this trip for everybody who is searching for a nice one day sightseeing trip in Ireland.

Great tour that was well planned! David was a fabulous tour guide. His stories were entertaining and I like that he played irish music (pop irish like U2 and the Cranberries) in the background. The Cliffs are pretty and we lucked out with great weather. My favorite part was driving up the Atlantic Way and stopping at The Burren. It was so pretty, the grass was soft, and the rocks were cool. This was an unplanned stop for about 10 min. Galway was okay. The area you're dropped in is really touristy and if that's where you get lunch there isn't that much time to explore outside the touristy area. I would recommend getting a slice of pizza and eating it while walking around. Definitely get ice cream at Murphy's. For those from the west coast of the US, it's like Salt & Straw. Lots of shops for souvenirs in Galway.

July 2022 - My wife and I enjoyed this tour immensely. We were a bit concerned at first by the duration of the tour (13 hours) but our hosts (David and Sarah) made everything so interesting and fun that the day just went by so fast. The tour allows for three very comfortable stops (not counting the bio-breaks in between): the first being the Cliffs of Moher where we felt we had plenty of time, the second in Galway City - again, we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to explore the city at our leisure and the last was a quick stop at the Burren. David entertained us all the way through, by sharing the history of Ireland and singing a few songs :) We highly recommend this tour.

This tour was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The cliffs of Moher are definitely worth seeing. Then we travel to the burren which is very unique and interesting to see up close and personal and we finished off the day with a walk around Galway and an excellent meal at a local restaurant. Our tour guide Sean was absolutely incredible. He was very knowledgable and explained a lot of the sites that we were seeing along the way, throughout the entirety of the trip. He had excellent recommendations for each place we stopped and played great music throughout the trip which changed depending on where we were. He took care of every detail including having motion sickness medicine for guests, providing maps of each location so tourists would know how to get around and even wrote our names out in the Ohham alphabet. The driver Owen manoeuvred gracefully around some terrifying, teeny tiny roads. I would recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Ireland and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Sean as your tour guide. We had a tour the following day and was very disappointed by the tour guide in comparison to Sean.

This was such an amazing experience especially for as cheap as it is. The bus was comfortable and has USB outlets so you can charge your electronics on the drive (I’d recommend bringing a charger since you’ll be away for 13 hours and you’ll be using your phone/camera a lot). The Cliffs of Moher were amazing and so worth the time it takes to get there, it’s very windy so make sure you bundle up and some areas are muddy so wear shoes that are good for that. Galway was a fun city to stop and check out as well and then driving through the countryside was a nice way to get to see more of Ireland outside of the cities, I’d highly recommend taking this tour if you’re going to be in Dublin.
