      A great experience.
I undertook the Croke Park stadium tour yesterday. It was a most enjoyable and informative tour, very well led by the guide Seamus. He had a wealth of knowledge, which he delivered with coherence and enthusiasm. It was evident that he had a passion for the GAA. After the tour I was able to spend time in the museum. The museum had a wealth of exhibits, interactive videos, etc, covering the GAA from its conception to the present. There was also an excellent cafe. Overall, great value for money, and I would highly recommend this tour for all GAA fans, and those who want to learn about our sports. Gerry from Derry

Hurling is an awesome sport to watch
Went to see a hurling match, amazing experience! Great atmosphere, great to see old Gaelic sports still very popular, with 50000 people at the game between Kilkenny and Clare

I've never reviewed a stadium before, because, well, I've never really needed to. Visited in sept 22 for the Garth Brooks shows. Attended on the 3rd night of the 5 and have to say, was really blown away by the efficiency and organisation of the day. I've visited a fair few stadiums in my time, being a football fan and have been to Wembley Stadium twice for gigs, but Croke took the biscuit for how well organised the whole night was. Arrived pretty early as we had standing tickets and wanted to be pretty close to the front (turns out we literally were right at the front) and joined the shirt queue already ahead. Gradually we were moved forward and down closer to the stadium where we filtered in with more people where at this point I felt it would be difficult to get to the front due to the large amount of people ahead. Thankfully this wasn't the case as those that had queued up early were let in first and were moved into the stadium concourse where security moved everyone down and towards the pitch slowly and in order, meaning those that had queued first didn't miss out on getting a good spot. Security throughout were friendly and however good the artist is, sometimes having a good or bad experience with the organisation can make or break a night. All in all, really impressed by the whole night

      Great experience
We couldn’t leave Dublin without watching a Gaelic Football game at Croke Park, luckily the season was kicking of the weekend we were there Dublin vs Kildare. Bought the tickets online through ticketmaster. Seats were in Hogan lower stand. Would suggest rows AA back for best view and to be out of any rain that may come.

Went to see Garth brooks last weekend. The stadium is cracking, quick to get in and out. Lots of friendly staff to help you out. Very smart venue also

I attended a concert at Croke Park with my husband and friends. The stewards were very helpful and extremely friendly, the Garda too. The stadium was spotlessly clean and everything was easily accessible , minimal queues. A thoroughly enjoyable experience

      Garth Brooks Concert
Friends Garth Brooks Concert - this was our first concert with our two teenage sons. We are regular attendees to Croke Park (big GAA family). We love Croke Park on match days. As a family we did enjoy the City centre lights and nice food. As for the concert, it was an electric atmosphere and Garth is a super entertainer. However left feeling a bit disappointed, we were in the Davitt Stand and like a previous contributor said the sound quality was awful. We couldn’t make out what he was saying due to how muddled the sound. We could not make out the words. The big screens weren’t in sync with the sound as we could see his mouth moving differently to what we were hearing. 3 women stood up in front of us and danced all night, more luck to them, but they blocked my wife and two young boys entire view of the stage and screen. They also spilt beer all all over the ground where we were seated. One young person as security visible, but ineffective, nobody nearby to ask for help. I asked if they could sit as we couldn’t see anything, but they refused and told us to stand if we couldn’t see. So thirty minutes in we left and found seats higher up in the disabled section. Great atmosphere with the lighting etc but with no view, poor sound and people loaded with alcohol we won’t be back there for a concert again. Match days yes, concerts no.

      Poor sound quality
Garth Brooks Concert - Electric atmosphere and Garth is a super entertainer. However left feeling a bit disappointed, we were in the Upper Hogan Stand and the sound quality was awful. We couldn’t make out what he was saying due to how muddled the sound was. Even some of the songs left us puzzled unless they were the big numbers as we just could not make out the words. Also the big screens weren’t in sync with the sound as we could see his mouth moving differently to what we were hearing. Also very little security visible, nobody nearby to ask for help when the couple in front of us spent the whole concert vaping heavily.

      2 very disappointed children!!
Tried booking this tour for 2 solid days but online booking service was down.. We r on social media and their website ( there was no message on their website and not everybody uses social media!!! )she explained that the 1pm slot was gone and would we like to book the 2.30pm slot instead? I explained that I had 2 very disappointed children in the back of the car on route to Dublin and she hung up on me. My wife rang back 1 minute later to book the 2.30pm slot which she had explained was available and she said it was sold out. ( 1 minute later!!). Very, very disappointed children once again!! I fully understand that with covid 19 restrictions, they want to operate an online booking system but come on Croke Park, if you want to implement these online bookings etc, do it correctly....

This private tour almost made me like sports...
Sadly it didn't, but it was a great few hours, and exhilarating climbing all those steep steps! My friend I ran into in Dublin [read my Conrad hotel review] for a convention, told me she took a corporate group tour at the Croke Park Stadium and found allot of fun... So I called the concierge at my hotel [The Conrad] and asked for them to book me a tour, private if at all possible. [it was] When I arrived I was met by this incredible woman, firm hand-shake and beautiful who I assumed own the Stadium because of her commanding presence, lovely, warm and professional, also walked like her shoes were on fire... I mean brisk, which was the perfect pace for me. She spoke about the behind the scenes stuff which really didn't appeal to me so after fifteen minutes we headed into the stadium and began climbing and climbing and climbing [elevator please] and at one point the stairs became very steep and I now understand, the nose bleed section, phrase. I'm in great shape 6'2" 160 and an avid long distance runner, but these steps were kicking my booty. Once conquering the last step, I had the same feeling as my tour of the Sydney Harbor Bridge, except for the safety lines in Sydney strapped to me. Walking around up there on mesh grates and safety railings along with signage explaining the views etc... To be honest with you, I do not remember going back down to earth, the tour was that great. I know nothing about group tours or non private tours, but I'm sure you can find them on TA... I do know this was a great few hours and fit nicely into my agenda, since I did not do the entire tour I have no idea how long that last's, thus my love of private tours. I highly recommend taking this tour, especially if you're a sports fanatic. Enjoy every adventure ahead of you and the diversity our planet offers!

      Skyline Tour - A must!
If you are visiting Dublin, be sure to book on to the skyline tour of Croke Park. It is simply a must! We completed this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The tour guide (John I think!) was engaging, witty and knowledgeable. Despite being up a great height (as you would be on the roof of Croke Park), I felt at ease and very safe and I wouldn’t be too fond of heights! You have a great viewpoint over Dublin City and get to hear plenty of fascinating facts about a variety of them. Bring a hat and gloves as it is a bit nippy!

      Fantastic day out
We booked the stadium tour and the skyline walk at Croke Park and what an amazing day we had. The stadium tour was really good seeing all the main sites of a stadium tour, media area, executives boxes, changing rooms, players tunnel, stands and the whole ground itself from high up. The museum is a great day to start the trip while you wait for your tour. The skyline tour was amazing and totally made our day, especially our tour guide Kian, who was so knowledgable and great to be around. All the staff were lovely and friendly, cafe available for drinks and snacks and a lovely gift shop. Highly recommend a visit here.

Fantastic activity whilst visiting Dublin. Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable (sorry I can’t remember his name). Lots of very interesting facts about the stadium. Guide took his time and gave the group plenty opportunities to ask questions. Interesting museum at the end and interactive activities.

I absolutely loved it. Big GAA fan. Saw everything, corporate box, dressing rooms, warm up areas, pitchside, media centre and more. Our guide was from Monahan and was very informative. Museum was good but we only had 30 min there after the 3pm tour. I'd recommend going earlier to get full value.

Did the Croke Park Stadium Tour yesterday. What a fantastic experience and great value for money. Annette was our tour guide & her knowledge and personality made the tour an extremely memorable one. From beginning to end it was great and so relaxed. The museum is amazing with a huge array of memorabilia and facts. This tour is so well worth doing, a fantastic insight into the behind the scenes of Croke Park. Luimneach Abu 🇳🇬

My 11 year old son and I did this tour. Our guide was called Ger, a Clare man. He spoke with enthusiasm and was very knowledgeable about not only the history of GAA, but also Irish history. He gave us lots of time to take photos and even offered to take them for us. He made the tour interesting not only for adults, but also knew how to keep the kids on the tour interested. Well worth a visit!
