      Awesome Experience
Hi, I would like to share my first experience with Paddywagon, and it was really awesome. It was a tour to Northern Ireland from Dublin. Sorry, I forgot the name of our fellow driver, but he was a very sensible person, especially the way he drove us safely because it was extremely windy that day and trees were fallen. Time was perfectly managed, and everything went well. Thank you so much, Paddywagon team, for making it possible for a tourist like me to explore so much. May God bless you all. Regards Saira Bano

      Museum Closed!!
Booked this tour on Tuesday 9th April for Wednesday 10th, for my Grandson and I who are visiting from Australia. When arrived in Belfast we were informed that the Titanic museum was closed due the roof damage sustained on the Saturday previous. We were instead sent to a distillery tour where neither myself nor my grandson drink alcohol, and had absolutely in this activity. Had we have been made aware of the museum closure we would have wasted an entire day of our trip travelling to Belfast from Dublin. I contacted Paddy Wagon tours to request a refund, however although they apologised, they claimed they not made aware of the museum until our tour arrived on the day in question. I find this rather difficult to believe as we are obviously not the only group to book this trip and surely a company who regularly sends groups to the museum would be confirming numbers for their tour dates. In the end they claimed it was against company policy to offer refunds under these circumstances. Well thank you very much Paddy Wagon tours, but I will certainly not be recommend your services to anyone in the future. S. DHU Sydney, Australia.

      Disappointed!
We were very disappointed. We had planned this tour for years, we were so excited to be able to get to the Titanic Experience. There was damage done to the room of the facility last week so we called the tour operator and she confirmed that the tour would go ahead with the Titanic Experience. We would have cancelled if we knew it was closed. The operator had replaced the Titanic Experience with a tour of a whiskey distillery on previous days. I feel that the operator should have informed us and also the driver as he didn't have a clue. He was new to the tour and the bus. I would not book a tour with this company again.

      Must-see and experience!
Excellent day! Although a bit of a long journey, the day was broken up well with rest stops and sightseeing. Both the Rock of Cashel and Blarney castle are amazing and more than worth seeing. The gardens around Blarney castle are beautiful - an unexpected treat. Our guide and driver, Alex, provided us with just the right amount of road commentary and included some wonderful stories, historical tales & legends, and jokes!

      Great tour!
We had a great time with our tour guide Eric. He shared a lot of information and helpful info about each stop. My kids (7 and 10) loved the cliffs and I loved the shopping in Galway. The lunch spot had great food and the service was quick to get us back on the road. The bus was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend seeing the breathtaking cliffs!

      Great tour!
Our tour guide Paul was amazing. He gave us a lot of great info about each stop and kept us entertained! The bus was very clean and easy to find. My kids (7 and 10) loved kissing the Blarney stone and walking in the gardens. I would do this tour again!

Good fun on a scenic bus tour
Paddywaggon’s driver was very professional and knowledgeable. We had a smooth ride to Kilkenny in the morning where we were able to discover the town on our own for two hours. Then we went on through beautiful scenery to Glendalough where again we had two hours to explore the old monastery site and lakes. On our way back through the Wicklow mountains we even had an extra stop to look at “Lake Guiness”. Thanks for a lovely day trip!

      A great time with Paddywagon!
Everything went as expected. The ride was fairly comfortable and our driver Brian, was safe and informative. The only compliant is that one of the passengers kept spraying an inordinate amount of perfume on the bus several times during the trip, which was highly annoying and smelly and made breathing difficult. Perhaps an announcement reminding passengers not to do that would be useful. Other than that everything was great!

Fabulous Day Trip to Giant’s Causewy
We had a fabulous day at the Giant’s Causeway. Our tour guide and driver Alex was absolutely brilliant. He was incredibly knowledgable and had a very friendly, easy going nature - the whole day was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

      Blarney Castle with Richard O’Brien
Great opportunity to see areas of Ireland we may not have seen. Richard O’Brien was a wonderful driver/guide/entertainer. He kept to schedule, clearly explained best practices to maximize each stop and site, and generally made the whole day fun. Our 3rd Paddywagon tour during our stay. Would use this company again.

Terrible customer service rep, but beautiful views during the tours
We booked two full day tours (4 adults and one child) with Paddywagon, one to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway and another to Kilkenny and Wicklow Mountains. We paid a fare for our 1.5 year old for a seat (of course), but also specifically requested a booster seat (which is why we ultimately selected Paddywagon Tours). Cliffs of Moher: long tour, great sight-seeing in the Cliffs region, and unfortunately a short stay in Galway (just one hour) due to the bad weather although our guide tweaked the itinerary so that we get more time with good weather at the Cliffs (around 2 hours). We had a good time there, and a booster seat was provided. Kilkenny: the tour itself was fine, and the walk and views in Glendalough was amazing. However, when we got on the mini-bus there was no seat reserved for our child, and of course no booster seat, so she had to sit on our lap for c. 2-3 hours each way which was very uncomfortable, and very unsafe. A few minutes after we boarded we sent an email to Paddywagon Tours stating this fact to see if we can find a resolution. Over a number of days we received very short and dry, and unprofessional, responses from the "customer service" person, essentially not believing us, and indirectly implicating that we were lying. They then ended up no longer responding to our emails even when sending reminders. Because of this we're now posting this negative review, on principle of being so unprofessional and also being made as liars (why would we pay for 4+1 people x 2 trips and then argue over a €30 seat if it wasn't true? We also sent them the email very soon after boarding). The driver told us he was not informed of our baby, and hence there was no seat reserved for her and of course no booster seat (according to Paddywagon via email, he did later tell them that there was one space reserved for her - which is an outright LIE - either to save his skin or a lie fabricated by Paddywagon). Really disappointed with their way of handling this matter. The experience themselves were fine, the handling of the matter on the other hand is extremely disappointing. You should be ashamed for not believing us when we provided such a detailed account and proof. You really need to hire a better PR/customer relations person.

I was supposed to go on this trip the summer of 2020. Due to the Covid pandemic, I had to request a refund. I was told my refund was "in the queue" and would take a "little time" to process my refund. It's three years later and after many requests for updates on my refund, I've yet to hear back after the initial response from Paddywagon Tours. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this company. Their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!

I had been to Dublin in the past and wanted my husband to see the things I had seen on a cruise shore excursion. We looked on the internet and found Paddywagon tours. We took two days, one to go to Giants Causeway and Belfast and the other to tour Dublin. We had the same guide both days and he was great. Gary met us promptly each day as scheduled and added so much personal experiences to the narrative. At the end of the two days we felt like we had a new friend in Ireland. He recommended several restaurants and stores, all of which turned out to be outstanding. We spent just the right amount of time at each stop and thoroughly enjoyed our time with Gary. As a result of his feedback think we will return to Ireland and spend more times in other parts of the country. Definitely worth the price!

This was our first trip to Ireland so we were interested in seeing as much as possible. The Paddywagon tour was informative, reasonably priced, and very enjoyable. We booked the overnight in Belfast and would highly recommend taking the extra day. The hotel was in the university district. It was very comfortable and the hotel included a very nice breakfast. We were giving adequate time at the tour sites and it was a fun trip.

We had originally booked to go on the tour the day before we actually went. We were badly caught up in traffic and we missed our tour. This was no problem, the staff in the booking office simply changed our date to the following day. We were so glad they did.
Our tour was driven by Richard O'brien. He was amazing and full of 'craic'. He made the whole tour. He was full of knowledge about the history and the area that added so much more to where we were actually going. His soundtrack for the tour was on point and he had us laughing the whole way.
We will he back in Ireland on holiday again next year and we will definitely be booking another tour.

The only thing we would change is that the Dark hedges were a little disappointing. They were gorgeous definitely, but have changed a lot over time.

We took the 2 day tour and didn’t pick the backpacker option, I don’t recall what the name was but the accommodation was excellent and the area could not have been better. Our tour guides were very entertaining and provided a lot of interesting information.
We took the optional black taxi tour, totally worth it but they should update the rates as it costed almost double than it’s currently listed.

If you want to have an on-time, informative, and excellent driver/guide Richard's your man! The weather was not very nice but Richard's storytelling, prompt departures, humor and attentiveness to every passenger was stellar! His food recommendations were spot on delicious. I highly recommend Paddy wagon tours and Richard as your guide. I do NOT write reviews - he was worth it!

We toke this 2-day tour and experienced 2 totally different days. The first day started badly. Our tour guide Frank rushed off to the bus only with half of the group (we were standing in front of the traffic light and lost the group). At the 3rd pick up place, it appeared the tour was overbooked, some passengers couldn't get into the cramped overheated mini-bus. In Belfast Frank left the bus and the trunk open while talking to the black taxi drivers, I was really worried our luggage would be stolen. In the evening he left us in the hostel without any information about the pick up time for the next day. The second day however was superb, a big airconditioned bus was waiting for us with an extremely kind driver, Paul. Although the rope bridge was closed because of the wind, he made sure we could have a view on it from a hill top. He is an excellent story teller, I will remember his story about giant McCool for a long long time! All together, I would recommand this tour!!
