We had an excellent experience with PaddyWagon Tours . On time, friendly, informative, great restaurant recommendations, timing is good.

A shout out to Richard O'Brien. He is the best bus driver. Great stories and suggestions on the area you are visiting. Entertaining and a love for his country. We went west with another bus driver and returned to Dublin with Richard and so I can say that not all drivers are create equal.

This was my first trip travelling solo and I was a bit nervous which is why I chose the short 2 day tour. Darran and Domenic, our tour guides, were so amazing and accommodating that any concerns that I had were quickly overcome.

Darran was our tour guide on our first day and he took genuine interest in each of the travellers. As added bonus, he took us to some additional spots that were not included in our itinerary - Hazel Mountain Chocolate (delish), stopping roadside to pet the sheep, the scenic waterfall on the Erriff River, a mussel farm in Killarney . His humour and knowledge really enhanced my experience.

I chose the single room supplement. We stayed at a cute B&B with a total of around 10 guest rooms. The rooms were well appointed and very clean, each with their own bathroom. The breakfast was made to order, and delicious. It was a 15 min walk to the city centre.

On our second day our guide changed to Dominic. He was such an entertaining, funny and considerate guide. He literally took the jacket off his back when I lost mine, when we were at The Cliffs of Moher.

Overall I have nothing but positive things to say about my tour, guides and experience. I can’t recommend this tour strongly enough. Thanks Darran & Dominic!

My partner and I went on a 2 day tour through Western Island. The first day was 6 hours driving with essentially one stop to a small town called Conway. While cute in its own right there was not a lot to do here and it was the only lengthy stop (minus the final destination of Galway). It felt like a waste of a day especially when I takes only a third of the time to actually get to Galway. A train would have been a better option.

The second day we were meant to go to the Cliffs of Moher. Due to the Corona Virus this was shut. It was shut a day prior to our tour starting and not once was this mentioned via their website, email or our tour guide which is appalling as this was the main reason we went on our trip and many other passengers too. Because of this lack of communication we would have cancelled our tour outright and I’m sure a lot of people including myself will be attempting to get refunds. The tour in the end was just to very long drives back and fourth between Dublin and Galway with nothing in between. Even with the Cliffs being opened (which they won’t be for the foreseeable future with the virus) I would not recommend this tour.

Hi there Jack Thank you for your feedback about your tour. Let me go over the tour . Day 1 is a day trip around Connemara . This is what we did. we visited Cong, we stopped at Lough Corrib, we traveled through the famine valley etc and all the while gave you loads of history of Ireland.. I don't think its fair to say you would be better getting the train. In relation to Day 2 you got to see the burren the mini cliffs bunratty castle and again a lot of Irish history and stories. I am sorry you did not enjoy your tour but maybe you will be back some day and travel with us again and get to see more of Ireland. Regards Paddywagon Team

The guide is the driver. So, every explanation is just on bus. No guide at all on the sites. Quite expensive. Nice accomodation in Acorn b&b. I woul suggest no to go for a two days tour that seems to be much more expensive than the two different 1 day tours from Dublin. Barney castle with its gardens is beautiful. Moher cliffs are nice. Burren landscape not impressive. Buratty castle is on the motorway. No visit inside, no athmosfere, 10 minutes pictures from outside with cars passing by. ...

We booked to Tour as poor students and felt ripped off. First, Our Bus broke down, Which can happen, but we were not informed of the further procedure after we stopped at a Gas station and waited there for more than an hour.
Secondly, Our guide almost took off without us !! Gladly we noticed it and had to run after the Bus to stop him!!!
We were shocked.
After a long ride, we had two 3-minute stops in connemara national Park to take photos. The guide rushed us and was very unrelaxed. We were not able to enjoy the view.
Speaking of the guide, he gave us very very little Information concerning we booked a GUIDED Tour! All in all, he was super unfriendly. We were not satisfied at all. We felt dissed and as if he did not enjoy it at all.
Especially on the second day, He just picked us up and said nothing at all afterwards about Galway, the cliffs of moher or anything else we saw that day. Plus he never informed us about the schedule or the plan of the day.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!! His driving was horrible!!! He went way to fast and has a very reckless driving style! All for of us felt motionsickness and are lucky to be alive!

I would not recommend this tour and rather advise you to book a car and do this yourself!

Frank is the best tour guide ever !
It was my girlfriend's birthday and we decided to go for this tour , spent some quality time exploring and enjoying , we booked the boat tour to see the cliffs from the sea and it was breathtaking! Frank even announced that it was my gf birthday and it was such an amazing gesture and initiative from him
He kept us entertained throughout the journey and even taught us some Irish history.
Highly recommend 👌
