Dublin Literary Pub Crawl
From $16.28
Experience Dublin’s love of literature and pubs on this pub crawl. Leave the navigation to your guide as you head down the city’s charming lanes. Stopping into pubs that hold literary significance, listen to anecdotes and facts about local authors, and hear actors bring famous works to life. Purchase some pints and snacks to refuel before participating in a literary-themed pub quiz to test your listening and retention skills.
What to Expect
Meet your guide and group of fellow book and beer lovers at a central location on Dublin’s Duke Street.

Stroll off down city streets, the sights and sounds of which inspired writers such as Brendan Kennelly, Paula Meehan, Eavan Boland, W.B. Yeats, James Joyce, and Samuel Beckett.

Along the way, you’ll pop into pubs with literary significance, where actors will recite lines from famous works, bringing the literature to life. At each stop, feel free to purchase a pint or a snack; you’ll need your stamina for the literary quiz at the conclusion of the tour.

End your evening at your departure point.

Great literary *pub* tour

We had so much fun on this tour! The guys were fabulous and performed the different characters so well! It was a great way to spend an evening but you should try to get there early or book in advance because it is very popular!

Thanks EJ. I am delighted you enjoyed the tour. No doubt you won the Tullamore Dew 'all over body lotion'. Or perhaps the T-Shirt in the Lit Quiz at the end. COLM

We orderd our tickets well in advance and began the evening with dinner downstairs at the Duke pub, while another group met upstairs. When they finished we carried our drinks upstairs and joined our comrades for a night of entertainment as two accomplished actors took...More

Two Faces of Dublin

This excursion combines 2 pleasures of the city: atmospheric pubs to spend time in the evening and artistic impressions from splendid performances of Irish writers' pieces by Irish actors.
