The tour stopped at some amazingly beautiful places, and John, our driver and tour guide, was great. The trip was fun and informative from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We booked the tour on a whim, and were not sure what to expect. We were more than pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was. John, our guide, was knowledgeable and a lot of fun.

Leaving the noise of city behind, we headed to the beautiful countryside and into the mountains. Several stops along the way to see the Irish Sea and James Joyce tower (great view from the tower so make it quick and head in!), Avoca for snacks and shopping and Laragh for lunch. John was our guide and he brought humor, history, interesting facts, and more humor on this trip which made the day that much more fun. We don’t usually do tours or group activities but this was truly the best way to see the mountains, lakes and plenty of photo ops along the way. The lunch stop, Lynhams of Laragh was perfect! Ambiance of a warm cozy pub, delicious stew and super friendly service. Dress in layers, wear good walking shoes if you want to walk in the National Park area, where you can hike on a paved path to the upper lake (easy and mostly flat walk but gorgeous)

John, the guide, is charming, amuse and has an endless knowledge of the history and funny facts of Ireland. the Wicklow mountains and glendalouch it just amazing, you couldn't miss them. thanks John!

Absolutely fantastic day trip outside of Dublin...Probably one of the best day trips I’ve ever take. Scenery is breathtaking. What made it more fantastic was our guide John, whose extremely enthusiastic attitude enhanced the experience. If you go to Dublin, this is a must.

100% recommend! We had John as out driver and tour guide, he was amazing! Really funny and knowledgeable, made the tour interesting and fun. We had amazing weather so the views were beautiful, definitely worth the visit.

We were in Dublin for five days and saw many wonderful sites but wanted a day out of the city to see other parts of Ireland. This was a great way to do it. We saw the Sandy Cove beach area of Dublin Bay, the wild peat bogs where so many artifacts and people have been found, beautiful lakes, an ancient monastery site with 5th/6th century church, a nice shopping venue. Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and entertaining. ( The only thing I wish he didn’t do is sing along with all of the Irish music he played on the bus while riding, haha.)

Dave was a phenomenal driver and guide! While I had done the tour on a past visit, my fiance had not, and I was still able to get more out of the tour this time than the last. A great part of this was the very interactive nature of the way Dave conducted the tour. He was able to interject relevance into the different stops along the way, as well as provide insight on the day-to-day life of people outside of the typical "tourist" areas most people are exposed to on most trips/tours. I would recommend this tour wholeheartedly!

Best tour ever! John the tour guide was hilarious, and had so much knowledge. It was a great and very entertaining bus ride. We were unfortunately unable to go on part of the tour because of bad weather causing icy conditions the day before. This upset some of fellow travelers but I’m so glad the company put our safety first. The tour was still very enjoyable and worth it! Our first scheduled tour was cancelled. The company went above and beyond to make sure we got to go on the tour another day. I would suggest you go on tour at beginning of your trip. John gives so much info on great places in and around Dublin that tour books don’t mention.

I would recommend this incredible and beautiful tour of Co. Wicklow to anyone. John, our guide and driver, was enthusiastic and friendly from the get go. He was approachable and happy- it really made our experience that much better to be shown around by someone who was so excited to share beautiful Ireland with us! My only suggestion is that you bring motion sickness medication with you if you are prone to nausea on curvy roads. Thank you Wild Wicklow! This was a perfect day!
