- Manuelelmunoz00Wild Widlock and GlendaloughThe best of all our tour-guide, full of life and a clever man, very smart and funny. The visit is amazing, beautiful and you will make the most of your day!!!
- Karen B00A great time! The tour stopped at some amazingly beautiful places, and John, our driver and tour guide, was great. The trip was fun and informative from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this tour.
- woxy9900Better than expected!!We booked the tour on a whim, and were not sure what to expect. We were more than pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was. John, our guide, was knowledgeable and a lot of fun.
- 140887cj00Very entertainingNice Trip! And John was very entertaining. Good music, good food. Awesome landscape and lots of information. Will do it again.
- Mrsscpierce00Get on board! Wild Wicklow tour is excellent!Leaving the noise of city behind, we headed to the beautiful countryside and into the mountains. Several stops along the way to see the Irish Sea and James Joyce tower (great view from the tower so make it quick and head in!), Avoca for snacks and shopping and Laragh for lunch. John was our guide and he brought humor, history, interesting facts, and more humor on this trip which made the day that much more fun. We don’t usually do tours or group activities but this was truly the best way to see the mountains, lakes and plenty of photo ops along the way. The lunch stop, Lynhams of Laragh was perfect! Ambiance of a warm cozy pub, delicious stew and super friendly service. Dress in layers, wear good walking shoes if you want to walk in the National Park area, where you can hike on a paved path to the upper lake (easy and mostly flat walk but gorgeous)
- 768lorenaf00100% jump on the boat!John, the guide, is charming, amuse and has an endless knowledge of the history and funny facts of Ireland. the Wicklow mountains and glendalouch it just amazing, you couldn't miss them. thanks John!
- W6784IEbillb00Tremendously enjoyable Wild Wicklow ToursAbsolutely fantastic day trip outside of Dublin...Probably one of the best day trips I’ve ever take. Scenery is breathtaking. What made it more fantastic was our guide John, whose extremely enthusiastic attitude enhanced the experience. If you go to Dublin, this is a must.
- Maps79635500Wild Wicklow mountainOur driver was fantastic, shared his love of Ireland and the mountains. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and very considerate. We had a great day! Thanks to our driver John!
- sophiebI2268GT00Amazing!!100% recommend! We had John as out driver and tour guide, he was amazing! Really funny and knowledgeable, made the tour interesting and fun. We had amazing weather so the views were beautiful, definitely worth the visit.
- britfan78900Great way to see parts of IrelandWe were in Dublin for five days and saw many wonderful sites but wanted a day out of the city to see other parts of Ireland. This was a great way to do it. We saw the Sandy Cove beach area of Dublin Bay, the wild peat bogs where so many artifacts and people have been found, beautiful lakes, an ancient monastery site with 5th/6th century church, a nice shopping venue. Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and entertaining. ( The only thing I wish he didn’t do is sing along with all of the Irish music he played on the bus while riding, haha.)
- Scooby57500Great day tour of the countrysideDave was a phenomenal driver and guide! While I had done the tour on a past visit, my fiance had not, and I was still able to get more out of the tour this time than the last. A great part of this was the very interactive nature of the way Dave conducted the tour. He was able to interject relevance into the different stops along the way, as well as provide insight on the day-to-day life of people outside of the typical "tourist" areas most people are exposed to on most trips/tours. I would recommend this tour wholeheartedly!
- BaumBaum100Mega GeilBest tour ever. John is a fantastic guide and a great man sharing his knowledge and his Irish culture. Great atmosphere and great banter. Thanks John, keep it going.
- SummerV22100AmazingTourBest tour ever! John the tour guide was hilarious, and had so much knowledge. It was a great and very entertaining bus ride. We were unfortunately unable to go on part of the tour because of bad weather causing icy conditions the day before. This upset some of fellow travelers but I’m so glad the company put our safety first. The tour was still very enjoyable and worth it! Our first scheduled tour was cancelled. The company went above and beyond to make sure we got to go on the tour another day. I would suggest you go on tour at beginning of your trip. John gives so much info on great places in and around Dublin that tour books don’t mention.
- Catherine K00Highly RecommendI would recommend this incredible and beautiful tour of Co. Wicklow to anyone. John, our guide and driver, was enthusiastic and friendly from the get go. He was approachable and happy- it really made our experience that much better to be shown around by someone who was so excited to share beautiful Ireland with us! My only suggestion is that you bring motion sickness medication with you if you are prone to nausea on curvy roads. Thank you Wild Wicklow! This was a perfect day!
- VatcheLara00Wild Wicklow TourWe had an awesome experience with John being our tour guide and driver at the same time. A+ for John

Had nothing to do our last day in Dublin so was glad to see availability for this tour at 7am for the 9am tour lol Driver John was hilarious and entertaining the whole time! The tour was way more than I thought it would be. I’m glad I saw posts of some of the stops being short or It would’ve bothered me lol. The coffee break stop to eat is much better than the restaurant for lunch(it was ok compared to the coffee break place). It was cold and windy but that’s Ireland weather for you I guess.

Absolutely great day trip!
We’re from Newcastle to celebrate my partners 30th birthday, and we’ve not stopped laughing throughout the day, helped by our full of energy driver, John. His energy and spirit brought the tour to life and today’s tour will be a treasured memory.
Great route, great scenery, and great knowledgeable tour guide!
Driving past Bono’s house, along with Enya’s castle home, was a fantastic addition.
The food at our lunch stop was delicious and to experience the bridge scene from PS I Love You, was magical. We had high winds and the presence of Storm Ciara, but it did not ruin our trip, it just added to the experience!
Fantastic time and we’ll definitely use Wild Wicklow Tours again.
PS - John, Rob was meant to tip you and got told off for not doing so. Please Know, it was definitely intended. We love you. And thank you for being our driver.

The tour guide, John, was the most cheerful and friendly person I have ever met. He talked all throughout the tour, which for some can be a bit tiring, but the things he said were very interesting and not only about the places that were part of the tour but also about Dublin and Ireland in general. The places we visited were all absolutely beautiful and the tour itself was relaxing and interesting. There were quite a lot of stops in different spots along the route, so you can take photos and walk around a little. A short but fascinating tour around the picturesque Glendalough was included, and if you wanted you could also walk among the beautiful hills to the Upper Lake. The lunch was also delicious and the shot of whiskey at the end of the tour was really a perfect ending.
If you have a chance to visit Dublin, don't even think twice about doing this tour.

This is a winner tour. Our guide and driver, John, was absolutely fantastic. Always enthusiastic about everything, he wouldn’t let this lose interest. The places we visited were gorgeous and every stop was appreciated. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get out of Dublin and into the wild! John is surely a high point on this trip!

This tour was definitely a ten out of ten for many of my fellow pupils and I. We were picked by Dennis, a super friendly and extremely funny tour guide. Dennis knew everything about everywhere we went, we could ask him countless questions and he would respond with an in depth answer.
I visited with my entire school, we were around 60 students and we were split up into two groups and put into two different busses. We started the tour off with dennis explaining the route on our way to glendalough. We got to play hurley and he explained the rules and it was very fun.
When we arrived at Wicklow mountain we got a delicious lunch packed by Dennis wife, and there was also a vegetarian option which i loved.
All in all this was a very enjoyable tour and we would reccomend this to anyone visiting Dublin.

John our guide was the highlight of this tour- He made sure every passenger felt accommodated. In addition to feeling like a natural citizen of Ireland with his informative speeches. I came back to the family that was hosting me feeling a lot more familiar with historic/ touristic sights that gave me a sense of belonging. One of the best tours I've been on in awhile! Thanks John!

My time in Ireland is coming to an end, and I have decided to take a day tour. I have heard great things about Wicklow, and got a leaflet about your company. The day was perfect, sunshine all through. Saw the peat bogs, the lakes, monastery, that famous "PS: I Love You" bridge. John, the Guide, was excellent, enthusiastic about his work, and a man of great energy at 70! Kudos for him playing my favourite band, U2, at the end of the tour (and singing along!) Definitely one not to be missed.

Last week Denis did a tour for our group of Danish students visiting Dublin.
Everything about the trip was just perfect. Beautiful countryside!
Denis was very good at telling stories and making conversation with our teenagers. The food his wife had made us was lovely and the overall experience was really good for everyone. We were also very pleased with Mick as a driver.
Dennis even helped us book another bus we needed for the next day.
We would highly recommend this tour!

1st time visit to Glendalough after hearing so many amazing things by friends who have visited on numerous occasions...wow,seeing is belivieng just how beautiful the scenary just is
Myself and my good friend Bridie decided on ascending via the white route which is an absolute challenge physically and mentally but totally worth the effort once you have reached the highest point.
A brief water break at miners way walk followed by another brief stop at what im reliably informed is cockwatch ridge..spectacular vista and a sense of being in another world.
My 1st visit but definately not my last.

We had previously used Wild Rovers tours and had an absolutely outstanding experience. Unfortunately this one was not on par. Our tour guide John was nice enough but too many personal diatribes about world hunger and politics. Did learn some history but it felt 'all over the map' The microphone was scratchy - music was loud and even worse John was singing into the mic. while driving. Yikes.
Wicklow is definitely worth seeing but would use a different company

It is Powerscourt waterfall, but the tour did not stop there. Don't let that put you off, you get to see and do lots on the tour. The guide tells you all sorts of interesting stuff on the way, get out to see many places, bridge from P.S. I love you, Lough Tay, James Joyce's Tower, have lunch in lovely pub in Laragh, shop in the Craft Shop beside, walk around the lower lake after the tour of the Monastic Site. The sample the local Jameson whiskey overlooking Lough Tay is memorable.

It looks like the drop offs are not the same as the pick ups. How do you get back to the pick up spot or your hotel? Taxi?

Our hotel was fairly close to the drop off area (there are 3 pick up areas available...)...so we walked...but of course you can get a taxi if you are not so close...
