Fabulous Tour of the Ring of Kerry
Aidan, our driver and tour guide made sure we had a fabulous and very informative tour of the ring of Kerry. The trip on the jaunting carts with Mike (and his lovely horse Tommy!) around Killarney National Park was one of the highlights of the day. Lunch in the Lobster in Waterville where James and his team looked after us so well was delicious! Enjoyed a lovely stop in the very picturesque village of Sneem. A superb tour with an equally superb driver whose wealth of knowledge of the history and the geography of the many places we visited was outstanding. Highly recommend this tour!

Abandonment in Killarney. Disrespect for the customer. Do not hire this company
Yesterday (23/08/23) I bought a tour from Cork to Dingle. We went to Killarney in a comfortable bus and in the city we changed to a small and uncomfortable van. The tour was cool. When we got back to Killarney it was to switch from the van to the bus. We spent 2 hours waiting for the bus to arrive. We were 19 people, one of them called the agency, the same said that no one was going to pick us up, and they told us to go by public transport, which cost 21 euros. WE WERE ABANDONED BY THE COMPANY IN THE CITY OF KILLARNEY, it was very cold and raining, I don't speak English, I was terrified, my cell phone battery ran out, when I got on the bus they only accepted cash, I had to borrow it. The tour was supposed to arrive at 6:30 pm and I arrived at 8:20 pm. Total disrespect for the customer. I do not indicate!!!!

    abandoned in Killarney, very bad
Yesterday we went to a Dingle tour from Cork city centre and it was a complete mess. The only good thing I have to say about it is that the driver was a really nice person, but apart from that initially the tour was just okay, we had a few stops that weren't originally scheduled, but very, almost too short. Everything went south at the end of the day, when the driver left me and other 19 people in Killarney Outlet Centre to take a different Paddywagon bus and go back to the city. The first driver said to wait 15 minutes for it, and left all of us there. We ended up waiting for over an hour when we realized that they basically forgot us there. We tried calling Paddywagon's office a few times in the meantime, and when they finally answered they were clueless and said there had been a miscomunication or something and no one was coming to get us, their solution for us was to get public transportation. No refund for the trouble of course, and we will have to go to the office in person with bus tickets receipt to get at least that money back (hopefully) Honestly I never leave reviews but this time it needed to be done.

    great scenic drive
if you are visiting southern Ireland then you must do the rig of Kerry drive. Driving your own car is best as you can stop as you please some fantastic vistas and views from a range of stopping points

All of us in the group were literally abandoned in another city by the company!
abandoned group All of us in the group were literally abandoned in another city by the company! we start our tour in cork city. They walked with us for about an hour and got us off a big bus and put the group in a van. We took the tour which sucked because the driver was 15 minutes at each stop and it didn't match what we were sold. however, the biggest problem was that the company again stopped the van on the way back in a city and said it would send another transport to pick us up. That transport never arrived. The entire group waited for the new transport to arrive. It was getting late at night, raining and night. And we realized that we had been abandoned by the company. we had to look for a bus station to take public transport and go back to Cork! not everyone had money to buy another ticket. It was a difficult situation for the entire group taking the tour. We arrived back in Cork around 11:00 pm. We are shocked by the company's lack of commitment and responsibility.

Ok Tour if you can’t find something else
There are many stops so you get a lot for the 11 hours you are on the bus if you go from Limerick. God carriage ride through Killarney Park.

    Great excursion
Paddy wagon was a great company and made it super easy to get off our cruise and go in an excursion. The guide was knowledgeable and great. The bus was comfortable and had Wi-Fi. Highly recommend!

    Wonderful trip!
Views and experience you won't get on your own! Long, but worth it! The village stops are incredible and you won't be disappointed! Our guide/driver was amazing, knowledgeable, and super helpful for my mom who needed some extra help. Do NOT miss the Irish coffees at the Red Fox! Best in Ireland!

Don't miss the Ring of Kerry!
This was an amazing trip filled with beauty and history of the area. Our Paddy Wagon driver/tour guide provided detailed information along the way. We had multiple opportunities to stop and see the beautiful sites and enjoyed a delicious Irish meal at one of the stops. This was a wonderful way to see these beautiful sites without one of needing to drive on narrow roads while the other navigated!

Natural Beauty, Beautiful Villages, Fantastic Tour Guide/Driver
My adult daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Dingle and other sites with Paddy Wagon Tours. We left from Cork right on time and the driver provided interesting information on the surrounding areas while we were traveling to Killarney. After shopping and a quick breakfast in Killarney, about a dozen of us from Cork changed to another bus for the trip to Dingle. Our tour guide/driver, Paddy (or maybe Paudie?) was fantastic. He shared lots of history and information on what we saw. We had several photo stops we as we traveled through the beautiful Irish countryside. Our first stop was Inch Beach and it is beautiful! Dingle is a beautiful fishing village. Great for lunch, shopping, and photography. Great day!

    Beautiful views
Our guide and drivers were great. Educational and informative, and the weather cooperated beautifully. Towns and stops were lovely. Only downside were participants not returning on time causing those of us to sit and wait on the bus loosing free time to exploring.People don’t listen or hear to know the return time, if you don’t hear ask, or better yet, one driver we had used a whiteboard and wrote it down for all to see.

Great tour of Blarney Castle, Kinsale, and Cobh.
The bus was just outside the cruise port at the train station, very convenient, and the driver named DJ was courteous and hilarious. He provided historical details throughout the trip, engaged us in Irish songs, and was prompt at every drop off and pick up. The Woolen Mills Gift Shop was well worth the short walk along the stream at the Castle. I would recommend this trip for anyone looking to experience the Blarney Castle, Kinsale, and Cobh.

I really can’t write a review on this trip since the tour company (Paddywagon Tours) never showed up! They left at least 15 people standing there waiting and wouldn’t answer the phone. We finally decided to go on a tour with a local guide who was there but I would never recommend this company.

I booked this tour via Get you Guide and in the itinerary was a duration with 8 hours but we came 6 hours later back to Cork. In Blarney and also in Cobh we didn‘t have that much time and had to rush to catch the bus. Blarney Castle ist a huge place and I couldn‘t see all of it cause we had only 2!! hours time for that. Also in Cobh the time was too short. Poor organisation. Why do you write 8 hours of duration on your itinerary and make only 6? Don‘t do this tour guys. Go with the bus and have the time you need to see everything. Blarney castle ist so beautiful and so nice to see. This tour was waste of my money. Not recommend this tour!

Good driver and orientation yo the places of visit. Just the long wait to get onto Blarney castle is a waste of time. Little time for Cobh too. So it's time factor. Too short.

The driver was very nice. I wish he would have narrated and given more information on the ride. Overall, it felt just like a bus ride to both Cobh and Blarney. I also wish we would have had more time in Blarney instead of so much time in Cobh.

We’ve been on many bus tours and this one is the worst of the worst. The bus was not a coach, more like a run down city bus. Uncomfortable, no air control, and rode like it was on square wheels. Worst of all because it was full my wife and I had to sit in two seats that faced the back of the bus! Definitely didn’t help with dealing with our rising nausea.

To make matters worse the driver/tour guide drove like he wanted to be somewhere else. He was grouchy to the point tourists were afraid to ask him questions! Apparently he is also thin skinned because at one point he announced “if all of you are going to talk then I am not”, which took all of us by surprise since he wasn’t saying anything before that anyway.

I would definitely check out the other tour operators before booking with Paddy Wagon.

Be careful as to when the bus leaves. Our bus left 30 minutes earlier than the itinerary claimed. It was a hassle because we paid for parking and then had to get back in the car and drive ourselves.

Blarney Castle known by many the world over is somewhat disappointing in that it is run-down in the first place. The Blarney Stone a long climb to thee top is hardly worth the trip let alone the kiss. There are millions of lipstick stains to taste if you opt for the kiss. Good luck to all those that make the trip, sorry for the disappointment. Enjoy the stores and knits that can be found anywhere throughout the world.

I actually enjoyed the gardens more than the castle itself. The castle was great too. There were a few times I was a bit uncomfortable with the heights and you’re standing in line a bit. So if you’re afraid of heights, I’d suggest holding off on this one. Otherwise it was a good visit.

Me and my wife have join this relax tour in August. Everything is great and we have enough time to travel in Blarney Castle. However, if would be better if we can have more time in Cobh.
And it is better to pre-order the ticket of Titanic Experiences before the tour. Since, we haven’t do so and we cannot have the experience immediately. So we need to stay behind at cobh.

This was a great day. We were dropped off at Blarney Castle just before 10. Our driver told us to be back at the coach for 1200. Exploring the castle was amazing. I recommend walking up the 100 or so steep stairs to kiss the Blarney Stone. The views are absolutely worth it.. Whilst you're there, check out the dungeon and the cave.

At 1200 we made our way to Cobh. It's a 45 minute journey so if you're travelling solo like me, have a book or music for the journey. St Colman's Cathedral is up some steep stairs but once you get to the top it's a majestic church. Don't leave Cobh without going to the Titanic experience. You'll be back in Cork by 4pm

Overall, a wonderful day. If however you're a vegan like me, it might be worth it to have a packed lunch. Whilst there were plenty of options in Cork, I couldn't find any vegan friendly places in Cobh but luckily I had some snacks.

Bus driver / tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was very humorous. Short bus ride from the port to Blarney Castle - great views of the countryside along the way. The ground of the castle were beautiful. Had a certain amount of time in the location so we chose to explore the grounds rather than wait on the long line to see/kiss the stone and was well worth it!! On the ride throughout Cork, the tour guide was very thorough to point out as much as possible along the route. Back in Cobh, dropped off at the Cathedral, which is amazing, and then requested to walk back to the ship to explore the city. Visited local pubs and walked around the town, highly recommend doing that!!

Hey homeruntaz, Thank you for your review of the CORK SHORE EXCURSION with Paddywagon Tours. We're delighted to hear you had an enjoyable experience from pick-up at Cobh port and throughout the day. We agree - the gardens are pretty impressive for all those customers who don't want to kiss the Blarney stone. We hope to see you on another trip in the future! PW Team
