We used Aswar from Kingfisher Tours Sri Lanka for a 12 day tour around South Sri Lanka, including Yala safari, Ella and around Tangalle. We had a fabulous time! They arranged all the activities so it was hassle free. Aswar was a great driver, with excellent local knowledge and I would definitely recommend him. Aashik the manager was always in touch with me to check weather we are okay, We will highly recommend them

Amazing guide Aaqib!! He stayed with us for 11 days and turn our holidays more than we expectaded! He was available 24h and helped us so many times! We have 3 small children and he was very patience with them. The van was always so clean and have fresh water every day. He made our Sri Lanka holidays a dream come true

The driver was patient and friendly. He would always try his best to accommodate our requests. He extended his services as well to fetch us to/from the hotel when we said we were out for breakfast and we intended to head for dinner directly after the tour. However it would be great if more time coordination can be done.

We took a 6 days honeymoon package from them all inclusive and we were 100% satisfied by their service . A well organized honeymoon including their Maldives package and hotel was really awesome we really enjoyed traveling with Kingfisher Tours Sri Lanka.

Do not book this company. I hoped I wouldn’t have to write this review as I have given plenty of opportunity for them to make this right but I’ve been let down and ripped off by this company. Paid over £600 in advance for a driver for 6 days and white water rafting for 4 people. Sadly no driver turned up at airport which was an awful way to start your holiday. Tried calling and messaging with no response. Had to get another driver from another company. When they did get in touch 3 hours later we were already on the road with a different driver so I asked for a refund. That was in the 15th July. I paid on the 23rd June. It’s the 25th august and I have repeatedly been promised a refund which I still don’t have. Looking back it was all a bit weird and I shouldn’t have paid in advance. A guy called Aashik responded to the email I sent and said let’s converse on WhatsApp. I don’t really know what the set up is here. But be warned and don’t pay until you arrive is my strong advice. I’m £600 out of pocket for no service at all.

Tremendously enjoyable 4 days in central and hill country. Our guides were extremely accommodating and friendly. The manager was responsive to our changes in itinerary, and even helped us secure a booking for a popular crab restaurant in Colombo. The hotels in Kandy and Ella had great vistas. Especially the one in Ella, which overlooks the Ella gap. Caught a very nice sunrise.

I have been in Sri Lanka Second trips with my family I have booked kingfisher tour's I have to reccomend to all my friends and world if you're chose the tour Sri Lanka Kingfisher tour's I will reccomend highly. I have come through from Maldives Paradise Resort to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 we have enjoyed well with my family and Kid's.

What a fabulous tour we had we Kingfisher Tours Sri Lanka and Afkar, We were picked up at the Airport with Garland of flowers and our guide was very polite assisting us in every point. The hotels were very memorable with fantastic locations and spacious rooms. Aashik, the owner of the company was always behind us checking if there is any changed or anything he needs to help us. We are sad that our tour ended up so quickly but we will be back soon with some long vacations and definitely not hestitate to use this company Lots of Love Natalie & Charlie

A Great and reliable company we booked the trip in advance and everything was perfectly organized in addition they even took us to a Natural Spice Garden and gave us a free Ayurvedic Massage The Rock was too heat but its worth climbing for the breathtaking views and history, Our driver was very professional and knowledgable about his coutry he assisted us in every stops and never left us alone in any part we highly recommend this company for anyone who travels in a short or long period

Driver was helpful and also had good time management. At the start of the trip we had some confusion on the exact program as there are many extra options that can be added (safari, village tour, etc) but we could adjust the program on the go and at the end we could make time for everything we wanted to see and even have a very nice lunch too. We started in an Ayurvedic Garden where the guide showed us the most common spices and produced cosmetics. Entry is free and although there is no pressure, it is nice to be prepared to buy something in the shop (card payment possible) or tip the guide (cash). Sigiriya rock is a great trip, but don't be surprised by the 1200 steps and the heat radiating from the warm rocks (sunscreen, sunglasses and hat highly advised). The trip takes at least 1.5 hours, but don't hurry, instead take some time in the cool gardens at the entrance, as the exit will be on the other side of the rock. Entry fee is 30 USD per person. On our request, the driver took us to a nice local restaurant (Sigiri Mount Villa) where we got some great curry with rice. At the second half of the day, we had time to visit Dambulla Cave Temple and had a chance to see the laying Buddha statues. Entry is 2000 SLR + 200 for shoe storage per person, cash only. Trip from Colombo starts with a cca 3-3,5 hrs car ride, so we recommend an early start. There were some logistical confusions during the day and also at the end regarding the advance card payment of the trip, so we suggest double checking and confirming the plans in advance. But all together it was a good and contentful day trip that we can warmly recommend.

The safari in itself is really worth it. The organisation was impeccable and the staff was very accommodating with all the personalised requests. Also, fair price for what is offer (pick-up and drop-off, entry ticket, safari jeep and guide). In short, recommended!
