When you attend a tour and the knowledge of the guide is unbelievable and it’s clear this is something they’re passionate about, that makes the experience all the better. We did 2 tours on the same day and in all honesty, that gave us an appetite for more and we could have done another. Excellent value for money and highly recommend.

Had a great time on the witches tour with lynda as our guide. She knows everything about the history of the area and the witch trials which was very interesting and I learned a lot of horrible and gruesome facts that I was unaware of. My husband and I, and our 11 year old daughter, did the Witch Tour in Elgin with Lynda as our guide. Lynda was amazing, and she has extensive knowledge about the history of the area. There wasn't a single question she couldn't answer! Whilst walking between landmarks, Lynda entertained us with really interesting stories about why people feared witches and how it all came about. She is a great storyteller and I enjoyed learning about the history of the area we were visiting. My daughter enjoyed hunting around outside Boots on the high street to find old stonework that Lynda mentioned in the tour. She gave us ideas for places to visit and where to have lunch, thanks so much Lynda. Highly recommend!

Took a group of 22 on the Witch Tour a few weeks ago. Was truly wonderful! Our guide was a plethora of historical knowledge, whether it was about the witch trials, Elgin, or just the UK in general, and was able to convey this in a delightful manner that kept us captivated and entertained. She has a unique talent and was able to quickly gauge the demeanor of the group and add wit as appropriate. Highly recommend this tour if you are in the Elgin area!!!

We booked this tour on the Sunday as part of our friend’s hen weekend. The tour guide was a perfect mixture of funny, entertaining and super knowledgeable- she made me come away wanting to know so much more about the history of Elgin, it’s honestly infectious! She was also able to gauge the energy of the group- giving us the grizzly details when we were leaning in, keeping us going and engaging in all our banter. The bride to be had such an amazing time, thank you for making our weekend awesome!

We recently took the Witch Tour in Elgin with Lynda Dean, who believes that a city's lifeblood lies in its history. It was incredibly fascinating to learn about the rich history of this city, and this tour only scratched the surface. The details of the witch trials were both eerie and eye-opening – realizing how anyone could be accused is truly chilling. Lynda, our guide, impressed us with her professionalism, sense of humor, and extensive knowledge. She not only made the dark history engaging but also sparked our curiosity to explore the histories of other regions in the country and beyond. We were left amazed at how much there is still to discover!

Did this tour with family as something different to do for s few hours. Lots of history on the area around the cathedral and surrounding area. Information about the witches and the horrendous number of them killed!

Fantastic and educational tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable of the area and the horrendous things done to the poor souls accused of witchcraft. Wasn’t sure it would be husbands cup of tea but he really enjoyed it too. Was a cold night in November but was so good didn’t even notice. Highly recommend to anyone with an interest in witch trials,ghosts or just history in general xx

Really fantastic and interesting tour! My partner and I went on Lyndas witches tour which kicked off at the meeting point outside the Elgin Museum. Lynda walked us through the wicked history of how the witches were walk through the town to trial for their death at Elgins famous Cathedral! Lynda really knows how to tell a story and has a great field of knowledge local and afar. Not to mention Lyndas wicked sense humour that had me and my partner in stitches throughout! I learned so many things about the witches of Scotland and Lynda's tour definitely has made me want to know more! Highly recommend! Thanks for the tour we had a fab day!🧡🧙‍♀️🧹📚

Lynda is an excellent tour guide - she's extremely engaging, knowledgeable and genuinely entertaining. My friend and I were fortunate enough to get a tour with her just to ourselves, and it was brilliant to have such a specialised tour. You visit various areas in Elgin town, but at no point do you feel rushed or overwhelmed with information - Lynda is very natural in the way she leads her tours. It was also great to have a genuine local take us around, someone who knows the place inside and out - to the point she recognised and greeted many people we walked past. I actually studied the witch trials at university, it was my area of interest, which I never made Lynda aware of - and I learnt many new things from her tour! Which was fantastic for me. As such, I highly recommend this tour for those of you completely new to the history of the witch trials, and for those, like me, who have been studying or interested in it for many years.

Amazing local folktales from our guide, very interesting stories from the inquisition era. Definitely a must-try for witchy enthusiasts. Amazing walk with such lovely weather as well.
