My group walk with Abacus Mountain guides,on 30th June 2021 was so
memorable the weather was excellent, our mountain guide Sally was so
helpful pointing out not only the landscape, but the rare flowers found
on Ben Nevis, and made the journey so enjoyable, and the other climbers
were a joy to be with, i would recommend Abacus

Kind and knowledgeable tour guide.
Jun 2021 • Solo
Kind and knowledgeable tour guide. The other people in the group were also friendly. Felt a bit expensive considering all the other people I saw hiking that day without a guide. It was a clear, warm day though and imagine in bad weather having a guide would be more important, especially if you are not an experienced hiker.

Sally was absolutely brilliant and the small group were all friendly and talkative. Amazing views and managed a great time of under 6 hours top to bottom.
Could not have asked for anything more from a brilliant experience and wonderful guide.

Great Job
Jun 2021
Sally led a small group of five of us; myself and my daughter, a couple and a single walker on our walk up Ben Nevis. She did a great job as there was quite a range of fitness levels in the group and the weather at the top wasn't great. We reached the summit and got back down safely. Would definitely recommend Abacus based on this trip. Sensible advice, good communication and a positive attitude. Thanks very much!

Great Ben Nevis tour
Jun 2021 • Solo
Went on a guided tour through Abacus with one other person (whom I didn’t know), led by Garry Campbell. Garry was knowledgeable, professional, helpful, friendly, and informative. The best thing though was that he was incredibly patient: he put our needs first and made sure we had the best experience possible in weather conditions that were often quite challenging.

If you’re a bit unsure about going up and down Nevis then I can’t recommend this highly enough

Amazing views on our climb and at the top of Ben Nevis
May 2021 • Friends
Reaching the summit was a massive achievement for us we were very lucky to have Alison Thacker as our guide who made it a very stress free day. Wonderful clear views at the top and a good covering of snow with just a little sprinkle as we reached the top. Lovely weather up and back down but make sure you have extra layers etc for the summit as very cold. We also had crampons with us which was a big help on the snow on the final climb to the top.
