This was an amazing tour. Andrew made the day and the trip to Isle of skies so interesting, with his stories and information

We started our time in Inverness with a glorious day traveling around the Isle of Skye with Andrew, a world class story teller! With joy, humor, and enthusiasm, Andrew shared experiences about life growing up in the highlands, different jobs he had held and retold teenaged experiences. Fabulous sense of humor and he laughed along with us. We had a problem with our car so Andrew arranged to drive us the following day to visit the Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns and get us to a prearranged distillery tour. Because we no longer had a car, Happy Tours took us down to our next stop, St Andrews. We met a new driver, Drew, another great conversationist with a completely different Scottish background. We stopped along the way to see an AMAZING Working Sheep Dog exhibition, just like Babe (but no pig). Cannot recommend the helpful kindness we experienced with Happy Tours.

A very interesting and informative experience Learn about history at this tour in a balanced and knowledgeable way. The guide was very good and very clear. And you get to see the battle field.

Our family includes a 13-year-old history buff, and a 10-year-old who has no interest in history at all. From the Urquhart Castle to the Culloden Battlefield to the Clava Cairns, our guide, Ian, gave both kids a perfect day. (My husband and I loved it, too!) Ian personalized our tour by skipping the distillery in favor of a trip to the Loch Ness Centre, a immersive, multimedia museum that the kids loved. Sharing legends of warrior fairies and stories of Nessie sightings alongside historical observations, Ian quickly felt like an old (kilt-wearing!) friend -- with a vast knowledge of this awe-inspiring place.

We loved this tour! And our guide was really great, a safe driver, and squeezed a LOT into the day. Plenty of potty breaks, and we added on Cawdor Castle (for an extra fee) and it was worth it! The Loch Ness was more the surrounding area and all it has to offer. Highly recommend we had a great day!

Wow! We were overwhelmed by William's enthusiasm and knowledge. Our tour was perfection! William took great care to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see and we had all the insights into each place and its history. We couldn't have been more fun or breath-taking. Was very interesting if you are into history, like me, but a bit boring if you are not. And it is not the same history as OUTLANDER so don't be disappointed. Overcrowded for sure

The tour for three cost £700 for this we received little information when at Culloden the guide parked in a disabled parking spot when we said were not disabled he replied no nor me and told us we were getting out There was plenty of parking so do not know why he parked there, then he pointed to the Battlefield and said see you back and went for his free coffee. We discovered we could have got a tour in a taxi for £400 seems like Happy Tours just like to fleece tourists be aware

Wonderful tour with a visit to the Castle that is still being used for family weddings, etc; The items displayed in the Castle is amazing; After the Castle we continued on to another small town to have their famous fish and chips; and on the way back we stopped at a river that is said the have eternal youthful properties if you dip your head into it for 7 seconds (we will see if it works) Also walked up to a waterfall and were able to touch the wooly cows; it was all so fun.

Our guide Drew made this tour very memorable. Drew was very knowledgeable on all of the sights we visited and most importantly, was a pleasure to spend the day conversing with while touring the various sites . Seeing the historic Clava Cairns and Culledon Battlefield were remarkable. No Loch Ness monster sighting! One of our favorite moments was getting a chance to see the Highlight Cows up close. Jason was our tour guide and he was fantastic! Knowledgeable and fun, fun, fun! We toured Culloden, a distillery, and Loch Ness. A very enjoyable day.

The provider informed me that due to some Scotland government regulations, the tour we had planned and booked for August 2024 had to be adapted or cancelled. Their communication was polite, and though they had to remind me several times that I had to reply to them, stayed very polite. Most of all I appreciate that I was informed very early that we had to replan. Thank you so much for that, Happy Tours!

We had an amazing eight hour day with Bill, our local and knowledgeable and passionate tour guide! From Castles to distilleries to battlefields and hideaway restaurants, and more this experience could not have been more informative and enriching!

My sister and I traveled to Scotland in September, 2023. We had decided not to rent a car and drive. Of all our choices she chose this tour and we were not disappoInted. Lochness is not all about a monster. It is beautiful and well worth the trip. The Urquhart Castle is a ruin which has been preserved on Lochness. The view of the castle from the visitor’s center is brilliant. We made different stops before lunch and then to the Culloden Battlefield where a significant event in Scottish history happened. Finally we toured the Clava Cairns where if you are a believer (Outlander) there is a vertical stone that can be touched and possibly transport you to a different century. Malcolm wore a kilt and was a great guide and the 8 seater van was comfortable and much more intimate than a huge tour bus. Just do it❗️
