Our guide Kenny was very knowledgeable and so kind. He knew all the great spots and was able to find fun for every member of our group. His lunch recommendation was fantastic and he even made reservations for us with the best table in the house and amazing views of The Old Course. Transportation was very comfortable and super clean. This tour was the highlight of our 2 week trip!

Gerry is THE BEST guide you could ask for! His knowledge of the area and things we visited made our day beyond special. We were able to see so much more than we ever would have in a day by ourselves, and the local knowledge and wonderful conversation between stops couldn’t have been replicated without Gerry. Going above and beyond, he even took us to see some highland cows as a special request on our way back to the hotel and set us up for dinner the next night at a highly recommended restaurant he knew of. Our excursion with Aura Journeys exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Gerry, was professional and courteous but most of all very approachable, friendly and engaging. He did his best to make sure we saw the sights that were high on our list, and even when one of the sights was closed on the day of our tour, he came up with interesting alternatives for us. Most importantly, given we were on time constraints due to traveling on a cruise ship, he was very mindful of our arrival and departure times to ensure we made it back to the ship in plenty of time. We recently had an incredible opportunity to tour St. Andrews and Scotland with Gerry, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! We visited the legendary St. Andrew links, local ruins, the picturesque countryside and seaside in between. Traveling from Glasgow, we were treated to the most stunning Scottish countryside and seaside. Gerry is an excellent driver, making our journey smooth, secure, safe, and enjoyable. We passed through meadows, dotted with sheep and cows, picturesque stone houses and fences, charming small towns, delightful fishing villages, distilleries, castles, historic ruins, golf enthusiast’s paradise, and even luscious strawberry fields. Every turn revealed another breathtaking scene, making the drive a highlight of the day. Gerry’s charisma and engaging manner made the tour not just informative but immensely enjoyable. His friendly demeanor, rooted in his Glaswegian background, made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our trip. He answered all our questions with enthusiasm and tailored the experience to suit our interests, making our tour feel personal and special. The tour was flawlessly organized, from start to finish. I used Aurora Journeys on my wedding day to get to my venue. Gerry was a fantastic driver, on time, friendly and very accommodating. The car was beautiful with it's ribbons and the interior comfortable and kitted out with water and shortbread. Gerry was very professional and prepared for the journey days in advance and kept in contact with updates. 110% recommend for anything.

Cici was our tour guide for this first class experience. She met us at Saint Andrews course and took us on a two hour amazing private tour of Saint Andrews, the university and the old course. Her knowledge and stories of old Saint Andrews were fascinating and entertaining. She was sensitive to our interests and catered the tour for us. She was worth every penny spent and would highly recommend this experience. We were a family of four traveling with two teenagers.

Our family based our beautiful stay in Scotland in Glasgow however we decided on a private day tour of Edinburgh. We booked Aura Journeys Glasgow, the booking process was first class. Our driver Gerry was punctual we received SMS notification of his location on route and his arrival at our hotel. He was extremely well presented and the vehicle was a exclusive Mercedes sedan with luxury interior and bottled water. The drive through to Edinburgh was great fun speaking about local culture and sport. We visited Rosslyn Chapel, Royal Yacht Britania and Calton Hill not to mention the Castle. We could have traveled by train but would have missed out on amazing locations that are situated out with the centre of town. Gerry provided a fantastic day for us and we will certainly recommend Aura Journeys on our return to OZ.

Our driver, Gerry, was punctual and dressed professionally in a Grey Tweed Suit and matching Flat Cap (bunnet). The luxury vehicle was in pristine shape and had branded water and shortbread (biscuit) in the vehicle, along with standard of driving - all good during a day of whiskey tasting. I was with a group of women and we had let the company know we were hoping for a driver who was friendly and would be happy to converse throughout the trip. We had an amazing day and many great laughs with Gerry. He gave us all the tips for Glasgow, helped with reservations, and checked in on us. Our driver had anecdotes along the way, answered questions, pointed out site not to be missed, stopped for pictures, and generally made the day better just by being such enjoyable company. And he really made us laugh. When I take my family back to Scotland, the first thing Ill book is Aura.

My son and I took two different tours on two different days with Aura. What a great company! Our fist day was Aura's Loch Lomond Tour with William. William was a informative, friendly and entertained us with stories and information. We managed to see Kelpies, Fall of Falloch and the spectacular Highlands scenery as we drove. We finished up with a visit to Hamish the Highland Bull. Day two was a bespoke tour to Deanston and Aberfeldy Distillery accompanied by Brian. Brian was equally as warm and knowledgeable as William. He was a great guide, full of interesting details about the area I highly recommend Aura Tours-you will not be disappointed!

William was a joy to spend the day with. His knowledge of the area and history was phenomenal. He listened to what we were looking for in the tour and mortified the tour as we went along the day. Enjoyed the tour and time with William. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about the great job and great folks at Aura Journeys. While on our Brittish Isle cruise we booked a private car in Edinburgh. Cruises are a fantastic way to travel, to see a lot of cities. But time is limited in each port. And Edinburgh was no different. Seeing St. Andrew's was a must, but so were the many other things to do back in Edinburgh. So we communicated back and forth with William at Aura Journeys to secure details. We often seek out things to do that don't necessarily fit the norm. So, while still on the cruise and with Edinburgh still 3 days out, we were unprepared for our port of call in Greenock/Glaskow. A failure on our part. I could not find anything on Viator that might fit our needs. All sold out. I sent an email to William at Aura Journeys and he put a call out to his team. Gerry cancelled his golf game ( on a beautiful day by the way) and agreed to be our tour guide driver for the day. Within a minute of meeting Gerry at the Greenock cruise terminal I knew it was going to be a great day. We had so much fun because not only of where Gerrry took us, but the improvised side trips we took. We did not want to see the distillery so we didn't, we spent just a little time at the Stirling castle which was great for us. We found a great Antique Market which my wife loved. And while my wife was antique shopping Gerrry and I talked golf, politics, and everything in between. We all laughed so much, and Gerry's personality was so genuinely warm. Of all the great drivers we have had, Gerry is probably the best. Gerry sent William a lot of txts about what he felt our likes and dislikes were and other information that will make our Edinburgh tour with William in two days time even more valuable and enjoyable. I want to personally thank Gerry and I am sure William will welcome us just as warmly as did Gerry. Kudos to Aura Journeys !!
