Of course the Outlander series chose prime locations with a lot of character, including the castles and villages, and this is what we visited throughout the day. It was a small, 13-person group and everyone enjoyed each other’s company. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Grant was the driver/guide and he was excellent. Great sense of humor, a lot of historical facts shared, periodically played music (introduced us to CaperCaillie). He made the trip a lot of fun. Highly recommend this trip.

Doune Castle, Falkland and Blackness were all great Outlander locations to see, but we felt these would have been lacking if one of our group had not been knowledgeable about what there was to see in these locations, as the guides just dropped us off and left us to our own devices. Culross was the best in terms of it actually being a guided tour, as our guide Ben had been an extra on the show and had filmed his scenes in Culross. So he was very knowledgeable about this area. We were also a little disappointed that 2 of the 6 locations we were supposed to visit were left off the tour, one of which is closed for filming, the other is closed for renovations. We understand that this happens, but they only told us at the start of the tour that we would not be visiting one of these places, not that both would be left off. We felt they should have been up-front about this, and maybe included another location as a result. We passed Deanston Distillery on the way to Doune, and felt they could have substituted this for the missing locations?

Was absolutely fantastic, even had a Dougal look alike for a tour guide. Sorry Graham. He was absolutely wonderful, played great music and was very knowledgeable on the show as well as the real history of the places. I asked a question about his family history which he started answering however i fell asleep as his voice was so soothing and the ride smooth it was like i was listening to a sleep story. I mean i fell asleep as a compliment i promise. The group was small but great, everyone was enthusiastic and excited. Would do it all over again.

We absolutely loved this tour! even if you never watched Outlander this tour is amazing. The properties are steeped in history and fascinating to explore. Our tour guide Jenny was the best. She had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about the area in general, the history of Scotland and the properties we were going to. She kept us informed all day of the intinerary, when we would stop for bathroom breaks and lunch. She played music in the van to keep us amused during the drive. I can't say enough good things about her.She made the tour even more fun than it would have been. We did several other tours in Europe and she was by far the best guide we had. The castles and buildings and villages we saw were awe inspiring. So glad we took this tour!

Bobby was a great tour guide to all the sites that are used during the filming of Outlander. He was able to explain a great deal about how the filming was done around castle ruins and the use of Glasgow sites to create Paris and prisons. We also learned more about the Scottish history around which the book is based. A must see and do if you are a Outlander fan

We loved this tour so much! I started reading the Outlander books in the 1990s, and this trip to Scotland was on my bucket list for decades. Bobby, our tour guide was very informative, fun, and his music really helped us enjoy our trip. Midhope Castle was closed for filming, but we knew that when we signed up.

I’ve been on several tours but this was my first Rabbie’s. Without a double the BEST tour I’ve ever been on!

The tour guide Jenny was AMAZING!!! Words can’t describe how amazing she was! She truly cared about each one of us, she had wonderful stories to tell, she knew so much about Outlander, and even had fun decorations on the bus! She was so friendly and made the experience so much fun!! I felt like I made a new friend! She was extremely knowledgeable about everything Scotland & very safe driver.

After this experience this will be the only service we’ll use.

Thank you Jenny for giving us an unforgettable day!!

Cameron did a superb job as tour leader. Insightful, funny and very well informed on Scottish culture and history. Covid -19 did not dampen the enthusiasm of an amazing story in Outlander. I really learned a lot of great anecdotes related to the miniseries.

Do you watch Outlander? Of course you do! Once you take this tour, you'll re-watch the first season so you can see all the places that you've been to now. Even if you don't watch it and are a long suffering friend or spouse, this is a fun and informative tour. It was indeed a small group and our guide, Alan, was knowledgeable and fun and kept us all entertained on the drives between locations. Doune Castle is also a must if you are a Monty Python fan . We also got to chat with some of the people on the tour itself and that' always fun. I've been very impresed with the Rabbies tours I've taken so far.
