Really just a bus ride to the Loch Ness boat and back. As we were not interested in the boat ride this was a non stop (except for the gift shop) ride to the north of Scotland.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that you felt that our Loch Ness, Glencoe, and the Highlands Day Trip from Glasgow was just a bus ride to Loch Ness. I really hope you had the opportunity to enjoy our driver-guide who was knowledgeable about everywhere you visited, telling you plenty of facts, history and playing music. I hope you were still able to explore our beautiful land on the stops of Glencoe, Fort William and Pitlochry, or, as you were not interested on the Urquhart Castle or the cruise on Loch Ness, take advantage of more than one hour to explore the surroundings of Loch Ness and, if you were extremely lucky, find Nessie. All the best, Aleix

We recently took this tour with Jerry as our guide. This was an amazing experience! Jerry was extremely knowledgable and provided lots of historical information throughout the day while driving between destinations. The trip was nice because we stopped about every 1-2 hours to get out, stretch legs, see sights, etc. Our favorite part was Glencoe... it was breathtakingly beautiful. We also enjoyed Loch Lomond, Loch Ness (you should definitely take the boat tour as an add on) and the Commando Monument. We arrived back in Glasgow at about 7pm (nearly 12 hours after we started) with a better appreciation for Scottish history and tons of photos of Scotland's natural beauty! I highly recommend this trip. Do bring extra cash or credit cards for lunch, gift shops and coffee carts. Thanks for a great experience!

An amazing taste of all the highlights of Scotland’s landscape. It was a long day, but necessarily so. There are options for excursions to castle ruins and/or a Loch Ness river cruise at one stop (at extra cost); we took the cruise and loved it!
Our guide, Callum, was extremely knowledgeable in all the facts and history of each area we passed through, and did an excellent job of keeping up with everyone, all while navigating the challenging drive…not a simple task!
Altogether, it was the most awe-inspiring day of our tour of the entire UK. I’d highly recommend.

It's always a great idea to pay the wee bit extra and go on the cruise as its such a good way to see the Loch and the castle. Hopefully we will see you again some day soon! All the best, David

Our tour guide, Jenny, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and focused on safety. We saw breathtaking views of the Highlands in the morning and stopped at Fort Augustus for lunch and the optional cruise across Loch Ness. This is where it felt like the sight-seeing part of the trip ended. At 2:30pm we boarded the bus and traveled the length of Loch Ness, stopping briefly to view a destroyed castle. We drove through Inverness but didn't stop. We then traveled another 1.5 hours with a brief stop to grab ice cream followed by the remaining 1.25 hours to Glasgow. In short, the afternoon (5+ hours) consisted of viewing a destroyed castle from a distance and ice cream. Returning after Loch Ness would have resulted in a shorter trip with the opportunity to see the gorgeous highlands again. Many of the sights on the ride north were on the right side of the bus. It would have been nice to make different stops throughout the highlands on the return trip as well.

We did this tour today and had an amazing day out. Our driver/guide Andrew was top class with his running commentary and abundance of knowledge of the whole area. We couldn’t believe how many places we managed to visit. We learned so much about Scotland and it’s history from Andrew. This is a long trip, 8am to about 7.30pm but every moment was interesting. The coach was comfortable and air conditioned. Great trip, and great value. Thank you Andrew. Absolutely recommend the tour.

Hi there, thank you for your review. Our Loch Ness tour is a wee bit of a longer day, but it's definitely worth it for all the places you get to visit and all the scenery you get to see. I'm really pleased to hear that Andrew was a top class driver-guide and that you learned to much from him. It's also great that you found the coach super comfy and well air-conditioned. Hopefully we will see you on another tour some day soon! All the best, David
