Fun exploring the Highlands and Loch Ness with Cruise
Our all-day tour to the Scotland Highlands and Loch Ness with Graham was exceptional. As both our guide and driver, Graham took us through various breathtaking stops, each offering incredible sights. His wealth of historical information enriched our understanding of the region. Graham was not only knowledgeable but also extremely polite and kind, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the journey. It was an unforgettable experience, thanks to Graham's outstanding guidance and warmth. Highly recommended!

      Wish we had more time
In 12 hours you travel all the way to Northern Scotland, which gives you a taste of the highlands without spending to much time at any one place. We wish we could have done a 3+ day trip to the highlands or Isle of Skye, but this teaser tour was what we could fit into the schedule. Rory did a great job of giving some background on the history and background of the various places we visited. For his first tour in several months it didn’t show, and he did a great job. COVID precautions: the coach was small but so was the group size so every group was able to comfortably spread out without any concerns. We were also asked to stay masked the whole time on the coach.

      Awesome Experience
This was my first tour of this kind and I absolutely loved it! I really enjoyed how organised it was. Our driver (Rich) was so knowledgeable, friendly and funny. It made the trip so worth it knowing all of the history as we went along. I would definitely use the company again in the future

      Absolute disappointment
Honestly? This was the most disappointing part of our entire trip. I was so looking forward to this tour and it was a disaster from start to end. Our guide was clearly displeased to have us on board with our children (he actually said "Oh, this will be fun." with sarcasm as we boarded the bus). The itineray was to stop at Glencoe, the Highlands, and Loch Ness. We drove directly through Glencoe in order to stop at a roadside motorcoach convenience store about 30 minutes away. We stopped for approximately 15 minutes for a photo-op in the Highlands where our drive neglected to count passengers before driving away and left 2 of our passengers behind. We were not informed that declining the additional cost of the boat tour on Loch Ness would mean that we would not be given the chance to view Urquhart castle when the rest of the group was dropped off (our driver instructed us to stay on the coach while he speont 25 minutes getting the "boat" group settled in the castle and ready for their tour) and that we would spend an additional 20+ minutes on the coach only to be dropped at a village where the majority of the businesses had already closed for the day. We were left to hastily purchase ice creams at the last open shop and wander aimlessly among shuttered shops for 30 minutes before spending an additional 25 minutes on the coach attempting to locate a mystery passenger who had "missed the boat" at the castle. There was no passenger who had missed the boat- the boat had failed to scan someone's ticket. Our driver, John, failed to communicate any updates with us during any of theses situations and routinely popped off the coach without a single word, leaving us to figure out if we were expected to stay on the coach or had time to look around at our additional stops. Our last stop for the day was at the beautiful village of Pitlochry where we (along with approximately 70 other people from 2 coaches) were given 45 minutes to queue up for the lone pay toilet and hope to snag a quick pre-made sandwich from the lone cafe with ready made food because there was no time to actually sit at a restaurant or take in the sites. All told, we spent upwards of 10 hours of the 13 hour day stuck on the coach because of missed communications, failed oversight, or poor itinerary planning. When we booked this trip, I read several mixed reviews complaining about the amount of time spent on the motorcoach. I brushed these off, believing that their authors must have had unrealistic expectations. I can now say that my own experience was absolutely horrible- we spent hours more time on the coach than were necessary, missing out on functionally all of the promised sites because we were either 10 miles outside the site at a roadside stop or because of gross mismanagement of the tour. I rarely write negative reviews but I cannot express my dissatisfaction at this experience.

      Long Beautiful Drive!
Thanks to Lord John, we had a great time on this very long drive. His driving was perfect agains the odds of Scotlands back roads and his stories and humor kept us entertained during the long hauls. He was also a willing and good photographer! Take this trip! We added the boat tour of Loch Ness and it was worth the time, such beautiful views of the Loch.

      Work and play
Wow, what an amazing full day trip. Awesome value all round. Small group, nothing was to much trouble for Graham our tour guide or Will our driver. Graham provided running commentary all day long and went well above to ensure everyone had a great day. Wish we could have done more tours with this provider, we only had the day, but this was definitely a highlight of a 3 week trip in the Uk and Scotland. Thank you to the team!

Wonderful Tour of Oban, Lochs and Inveraray from Glasgow
Yesterday, Sunday, we had this great tour. An all day tour with Graham as our docent and Will driving us through breathtaking countryside, singing folk songs, and having local food and a tasting of Single Malt Scotch Whiskey. The Castle in Inveraray with majestic gardens was more than I expected to see in relation to the Clan Campbell. One of the best experiences ever! Enjoy and be sure to tune into Graham’s storytelling!

      Highland tour
I was on a mini-bus tour with the guide and driver Lord John. Overall this tour is good value for money and gives a good insight what the nature in central Scotland and the Highland looks like. I really appreciated that John tried to avoid the more touristy places and had his own good suggestions for short stops. I also was pleased to learn a lot Scottish musicians during our trip. John told a lot of stories, it was interesting, but sometimes too intensive. A downside of choosing a tour like this is that you get only one longer, lunch stop. The rest of the stops were 15, 20 minutes. If you decide to go on a tour, I would definitely advise to take the mini-bus tour instead of going with the big bus.

My 20-something children said this was their very favorite thing in Scotland. It was because of our tour guide, Fraser. His stories and engagement with us made the Highlands come alive. He included music in the tour and told us about the music and stories about different places we stopped that really kept us interested the entire trip. It was so beautiful and we enjoyed the castles we stopped at plus our lunch at Oben. Highly recommend this way of seeing the Highlands.

The bus trip was most relaxing and the scenery fantastic. Our driver was also professional and the bus clean and very comfortable. Well worth the journey and the entrance into Oban was something quite spectacular.

Beautiful day seeing splendid Inveraray Castle and some of the most picturesque ruined castles in Scotland,. We drove by lochs, enjoyed lunch in the pretty fishing port of Oban, and visited the barren valley where the massacre of Glencoe occurred in 1692. The driver, Grant, was entertaining and knowledgeable, never tedious, and he knows that he need not talk all the time. Some quiet time for reflection and enjoyment of the scenery and atmosphere is welcome. Also happy with Grant's wide range of Scottish music. An excellent day. Good va.ue for money.

Long walk up from town if your a senior citizen. When you get to the top great view over Oban. But no information on the monument when you get there.

Comfortable coach, on time and friendly driver. Would have liked a little more commentary but accept safety first as some of the roads were small and windy. Sadly did not get to final scheduled destination on time which only have left 40 minutes to see around the whole castle which, at an additional cost of £10 (subsidised) was not worth it.
