What to expect
Your full-day day tour of Scotland’s majestic Highlands and Oban begins in Glasgow, where you’ll meet your guide in the morning. Board the comfortable coach and set off through the Lowlands towards your first stop in the village of Luss on Loch Lomond. Stretch your legs and takes in the sights before continuing west into Trossachs National Park, winding through forest-covered terrain and mountain peaks. Cruise along the shoreline of the tranquil Loch Awe to the romantic ruins of Kilchurn Castle. As you travel, learn about battles that occurred in this region and rulers like King Robert the Bruce and Clan Campbell, who possessed the Argyll lands for centuries.  You’ll soon arrive in the colorful coastal town of Oban, where seafood abounds and you can indulge in a lunch of prawn sandwiches, fresh oysters or crab (own expense). Take some time to eat and explore the Victorian town. Visit McCaig's Tower, a granite tower in Roman style that offers stunning views of the bay. Don't hesitate to climb to the top to see all the way to the Isle of Mull! From here, make your way back to Glasgow, stopping at the white-washed village of Inveraray. Explore the town’s shops, purchase some local sweets and admire sweeping views of Loch Fyne before heading on. Your tour ends back at the original departure point in Glasgow.

Bus day trip to Oban from Glasgow
Jul 2019
The bus trip was most relaxing and the scenery fantastic. Our driver was also professional and the bus clean and very comfortable. Well worth the journey and the entrance into Oban was something quite spectacular.

Lovely!!!
May 2019
My 20-something children said this was their very favorite thing in Scotland. It was because of our tour guide, Fraser. His stories and engagement with us made the Highlands come alive. He included music in the tour and told us about the music and stories about different places we stopped that really kept us interested the entire trip. It was so beautiful and we enjoyed the castles we stopped at plus our lunch at Oben. Highly recommend this way of seeing the Highlands.

History, great scenery, and laughter.
May 2019
Beautiful day seeing splendid Inveraray Castle and some of the most picturesque ruined castles in Scotland,. We drove by lochs, enjoyed lunch in the pretty fishing port of Oban, and visited the barren valley where the massacre of Glencoe occurred in 1692. The driver, Grant, was entertaining and knowledgeable, never tedious, and he knows that he need not talk all the time. Some quiet time for reflection and enjoyment of the scenery and atmosphere is welcome. Also happy with Grant's wide range of Scottish music. An excellent day. Good va.ue for money.

Worthwhile trip
Apr 2019 • Friends
Comfortable coach, on time and friendly driver. Would have liked a little more commentary but accept safety first as some of the roads were small and windy. Sadly did not get to final scheduled destination on time which only have left 40 minutes to see around the whole castle which, at an additional cost of £10 (subsidised) was not worth it.
