This was my second trip with Rabbies, and it did not disappoint! Pick up was easy and the pace of the day was fantastic. Out guide was an impeccable driver. As well as being a gifted story-teller, he gave eloquent and interesting histories of everything along the way. The bus was very comfortable and clean, and the stops were long enough to enjoy a relaxed pace, never rushed. The Robert Burns sites were lovely, and the walk to the Brig O'Doon were easy and interesting. The ferry ride to Arran was brisk and breezy, and enjoyed while having a coffee and making new friends from our bus. The rooms were organized in advance, and we were dropped off at our stays and placed in the hands of our wonderful hostess, Anne. who made sure we had a great breakfast each day, including Italian coffee (as was my preference, but yours may be tea) and even a Haggis tasting the second morning! Arran is indeed Scotland in miniature, and we enjoyed a wonderful whiskey tasting, a great visit to Culzean and Inverary Castles and a view of the highlands of the Isle. Pete delivered a concise and spot on history of the clans of the region, making the sites we saw even more interesting. When you travel with Rabbies, you are instantly made to feel at ease and a part of a family. The time goes so quickly that my only regret is not taking a longer tour! Rabbies is solid value for money, but truly food for the explorer at heart!

Hi Lynn,
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we're delighted that you felt so welcomed and at ease. I'm heading to Arran myself this weekend. Without the benefit of a brilliant guide like Pete it won't be quite the same, but I hope it will be at least half as good as your experience! We hope to see you again soon,
All the best,
Aimee

I was traveling alone and was unsure about filling the time. I decided to book the Rabbies tour due to the smaller group size and that they don't cancel the trips for lower attendance. It was the best decision I made for my travels in Scotland. Pete was an amazing guide; an awesome story teller, friendly and so informative. Overall I had a wonderful experience with this tour!

Hi Megan,
Many tour operators do cancel tours if there are less than 6 people, but we understand the disappointment this can cause and so guarantee to operate our tours regardless of the number of passengers. Coming into the quiet season with less tourists around, this is even more important and we're glad that you found it reassuring. Arran is less popular than other Scottish Islands, but with no good reason as far as we can see - it's stunning and has so much to offer! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it.
All the best,
Aimee
