- Davezrx110000Something fun and different! My wife Linda and myself were given a short Trossachs short by my family for our 40th wedding anniversary. As a life long biker I had never been on a trike, so it was a new experience for both of us, and I can highly recommend it. We were a bit doubtful about the weather, but were warmly wrapped up by Gordon, our fantastic host/driver who piloted us smoothly and safely out of Callendar, along the shores of Loch Lubnaig to just outside Strathyre where we stopped for our break and some ore photos. He provided us with coffee and a Tunnocks teacake and while getting our pictures taken and admiring the scenery, we hd a great chat, it was like being with a good mate. The 80 minute experience flew by, fresh air, scenery and good company aplenty made it a super morning and it was with regret we waved him off with his next trike load! We then rounded off with a lovely lunch in Callendar, although we wished we had known it was the Jazz and Blues festival weekend, or we would have loved to make a night of it. Thank you again Gordon and all at Triketoursscotland for the pictures and experience, all the best.
- mkstew00Fabulous experience. A must doTook my 85 year old mum on the Stirling ,tour. We both had a brilliant trip. Gordon was an absolute gentleman, good chat and excellent driver. Would thoroughly recommend. My mum simply said "it was fabulous"
- holidaygal201400The way to discover Edinburgh!Gordon was a great host… as non motorcyclists we were put immediately at ease. The trike was tremendous fun- wind in hair and gobsmacking views! Comfortable too, even with a recent new knee! We have stayed in Edinburgh for 20 years, but this was a birthday treat and was new on many levels. Tourist or local - you will enjoy. We had a blast!!!
- stew56500If you want to treat somebody to something completely different n great fun, then book now!!Fantastic experience! Great fun,and worth waiting for,as we had to reschedule, and had also lost our original booking details. None of this was a problem for Gordon. Enjoyed our wee stop enroute for coffee n chat. Will definitely be recommending to friends .
- Dudge2500A very Liberating ExperienceWhat an amazing experience we had on The Bridges tour Edinburgh .Gordon our driver/guide was very informative from start to finish. We loved going through all the wee villages before heading over The Queensferry Crossing. Our coffee and biscuits at the water side was in a glorious setting. The Trike itself was superb.I felt I was grinning from ear to ear all the way.So pleased with our photo shoot also.I would recommend everyone to put this experience on their bucket list. We were given this as a joint 60th birthday present.Loved every minute of this.We both love history and Gordon certainly added to our knowledge. Thank you Gordon once again. A very memorable day for us that we will never forget.
- JoJonty00Perthshire trip 4 Brilliant!Fantastic afternoon out in Highland Perthshire. Gordon was knowledgeable about the area and a real pleasure to be with, very friendly and we felt very safe. The trike was amazing, comfortable and a real experience. I was grinning the whole way! As a biker in the past I wondered what it would be like and it was thoroughly enjoyable. This was a retirement present from colleagues and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the sights and smells (yes!) of our beautiful country.
- Cath C00Fantastic ExperienceWow, wow, wow what a fantastic experience. Thank you Gordon for our experience. We went over Forth Bridge to North Queensferry and had coffee and biscuits at the water side in a glorious setting. The Trike was magnificent and so was the driver/guide. Gordon you were so informative and a pleasure to be with. Would recommend to anyone. We got it as a Christmas present , should put on your Xmas present list. Thank you again for our experience
- Donna P00Loch Lomond tour absolutely fabulous a must doI bought this as a gift for my mum and I to do for something different. From the minute we met Gordon to the end we absolutely loved it. Gordon is an absolute gem of a man, so lovely and informative. The tour itself wow we both had big cheesy grins the whole drive. Neither of us had ever been near a motorbike so we were slightly apprehensive but honestly you are so safe and secure on the trike. We have only been home 2 hours and are already discussing what tour to do next. Honestly cannot recommend this enough and can't wait to see our photos.
- jackyb90600Fantastic experience, a must to explore the city.Wow, what an amazing thing to do! We had the city tour of Edinburgh with coffee and oat cakes up on Arthur's seat, overlooking the city. Gordon was so friendly and a brilliant guide. The trike was incredible. I cannot recommend this tour enough, because we did it earlier in our trip, we had a great idea of where to visit for the rest of our trip, along with great suggestions from Gordon as he drove us around. We went first and our husbands went next, they had such a laugh. Well worth the money, thank you for an amazing trip Gordon. x
- John A00Edinburgh Bridges tour.Gordon was brilliant. The type of guy that I'd be happy to call a friend. Knowledge and attention to detail was superb. A true gent to my wife and he made her day very special. A cannot recommend him enough.
- lisacM2895GH00Fantastic and memorable tour at Loch LomondHad bought a voucher for my parents for a trip up at Loch Lomond to rekindle old memories of their own bike trips up that way when they were courting young adults. From start to finish the whole process couldn’t have been easier (from booking to the actual trip itself) and my parent’s smiles at the end said it all. Gordon was so accommodating and kind making it extra special for them. Also had the added bonus of beautiful photographs to have as a keepsake of their special trip. Would highly recommend.
- 210carolineh00The best Edinburgh city tour ever! What an amazing experience this was! I purchased the tour as a gift for my husband, it was really easy and straight forward to book with clear information provided for collection point and journey route. Gordon was really friendly and shared points of interest along the tour, even bringing tea, coffee and biscuits for our stop off at Arthur’s Seat. We had an absolutely fantastic time and I highly recommend Edinburgh Trike Tours to anyone visiting the city.
- art-ren00FunDid the trike tour with my partner. What a laugh. Met our host Gordon at the Botanical gardens. On time all organised, Leather jackets and gloves . Gordon was a star Ver informative. Very funny Coffee and biscuits half way from the back off trike. Good hour and a half tour Very recommended
- Loraine M00Fabulous wet morningWe met Gordon in Callander on a very wet morning. After introductions, dressed in leathers and helmets, and an explanation of what will happen we were off. What a great way to spend an hour. It was exhilarating and exciting and had a great ride up the side of Loch Lubnaig. We stopped for tea and biccies then back to Callander. The bad weather, strangely enough, added to the experience and as they say “no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing”. We would do it again, but next time i will remember to wave to everyone!
- Ali61000Fantastic experience 😀Amazing experience from start to finish. Gordon is a fantastic host Friendly and informative. Photos taking by Gordon in Cramond he supplies all contact info and they are Emailed to you. Great fun highly recommended as a gift or just a treat for yourself. Thanks Gordon 😊 Alison &Frank.

We were given a gift voucher for a trip provided by Trike Tours Scotland. Our initial attempt to book, within the two week notice period advised, failed due to lack of availability.
Our second attempt, which was to be during a visit to Edinburgh also failed due to lack of availability.
Given that the voucher expiry date was fast approaching I emailed the company expressing concern, and lo and behold we were given a date that coincided with our visit to Edinburgh. We did wonder why this was not offered in the first instance.
Unfortunately on the day that the trip was to take place, I took ill and had to attend the A & E dept at Edinburgh Royal infirmary. When it was clear that we were to miss the appointment, I emailed the company, my only means of contact, and advised them of our predicament. This was about 3 hours prior to the time of the appointment.
Whilst I was waiting test results, I received a call to my mobile telephone, which I was able to answer. This was the bike driver advising me, rather abruptly, that I was late for the arranged tour. I explained our predicament and advised him twice that I had emailed the company. He did not seem to be happy with my explanation and was more concerned that I absolutely understood that our voucher was now void. That was the least of my worries at this particular time. He showed no concern for my predicament at all. Total disinterest.
About one week after this, I emailed the company once more to further explain what had happened, and expressed surprise that they had not contacted me officially, other than the abrupt telephone call. I suggested they should perhaps be more customer focused, and that from visiting Tripadvisor I discovered that I am not the first to make such a complaint.
Not surprisingly I did not receive a reply.
Perhaps others can benefit from this review.

In response to your scathing review on a trip, you never purchased from us and a tour you never did.
Have read through the numerous email communications between yourself & the office. To first answer the point on lack of availability. As you were taking a motorhome and had to accommodate that I now see why you were constrained on YOUR available 2 dates near the end of your voucher expiry. We did, however, manage to accommodate you to alleviate the problem which you thanked us for in an email. Regarding your cancelation email at 14:20 on the day of your tour scheduled tour from 15:00. As you would be aware the terms & conditions set out in the voucher purchased through a completely different company state that your voucher will be forfeited if you cancel within 72 hours. YOU GAVE US 40 MINUTES NOTICE. The driver called you as a courtesy as you are not the only customer that he had that day and feared you might be lost. He merely told you the facts in a polite & courtesy way. He then had to stand there for an hour until his next tour. The main reason that I am responding to this diabolical scathing report of my company on TA now is for one reason. You sent an email following this incident where you implied that you would go on Tripadvisor & give us a bad review unless we responded in a favorable way. Shocking that you read the 6 bad reports on TA and mentioned them in your email (all written again by people that did not purchase via us & never did a tour with us) whilst ignoring the 228 Excellent & Good reports. We are a small company that works incredibly hard in a very competitive tourism industry & find your report on my company one-sided. If you had contacted us & simply explained what had happened then we could have come to an arrangement. INSTEAD, YOU THREATENED US & CHOSE THE BEATING STICK OF TA. Enough said!

We did the Malt Whisky Trike Tour with Gordon on 5th October. It was fantastic! Gordon arrived promptly at our hotel at 3.55 and we were kitted up with helmets, jackets, trousers and gloves. We passed by monuments, buildings and parks in both the old town and the new town with informative commentary from Gordon. Our stop near Arthur’s Seat for whisky, shortbread and photos was great fun. Gordon was a great conversationalist with many amusing stories to tell. A great experience all round. Booking via email was easy and hassle free. Photos were emailed to me the following day! Highly recommended tour - highlight of our Edinburgh stay. Thank you, Gordon.

How could you not like such a brilliant experience? We went to the Edinburgh Festival and booked a Trike Tour for a trip around Arthur's Seat and all the old streets.
It was extremely busy, (obviously) but it was such good fun!!
Thank you for such a treat.

Bought this for my twin brother's 60th birthday. (We both used to be bikers. The two trips brought back lovely memories). We did the Edinburgh City Tour then three weeks later we did the Bridges Tour with Trike Tour Scotland. What a terrific experience. Gordon was our host on both occasions. He was amazing! Very friendly and so knowledgeable, we even learned stuff about Edinburgh that we did not know and we have lived in Edinburgh most of our life. Nothing was to much of a problem, Gordon went above expectation to provide a wonderful experience. Gordon sent us some amazing photographs that we will treasurer forever, I am going to use them in my next photo book. Thank you for a wonderful time..Fantastic from beginning to end!!

My wife and I were gifted a trike tour last Christmas, being a busy couple with very tight schedules it's always hard for us to organise days out especially since this Scottish weather is so unpredictable.
I was a little apprehensive about the tour as booking a date rather than location was problematic.. but eventually we got a date sorted for November. Unfortunately due to the weather our trip got cancelled, we managed to reorganise for two weeks later. Again being November the weathers unpredictable but it was a case of second time lucky.
Our trike arrived a little late but let's face it Edinburgh traffic can be a nightmare. Our driver was friendly and a good laugh.
He was very Knowledgeable of the area and filled our time pointing out the sights. We stopped for a coffee which was well needed since it was really cold.. again it's November so no surprises in being cold.
All in all it was a great afternoon spent and I'd definitely recommend to friends

Got a voucher for this for Xmas
We were not fussed as to where we went on the tour, so contacted the company and they gave us the Edinburgh and bridges tour.
We turned up got kitted out and saddled up.
I don't know Edinburgh, so didn't know what to expect, it was so worth every penny that was paid.
We were taken round Edinburgh city centre then round the outskirts and out to North queensferry too. Got some tip bits of info on Edinburgh along the way.
In total it was 2 hours out in the trike. The weather on our day was perfect. But we were given jackets to wear and gloves if we needed them.
I can't say how highly I would recommend this tour to those of all ages

Jist used voucher for trike tour i had bought for my 14 year old son.
We went oan the edinburgh tour picked up in front of scotsman hotel by leather clad hairy biker Gordon.
immediately welcomed by an introduction an a solid handshake he gave us oor gear jacket gloves hat an helmet all provided an explained what was goin to happen an where we would go after a few photos we were oan oor way.
Great reaction an looks a plenty from the crowds an no wonder aweome sight aboard the yellow peril with gordon at the helm the tour was a blast from start to finish.
Gordon kept us amused with local knowledge an some history an a pleasant manner great character an positive attitude which many wouldn't take at 1st glance in his biker attire an imposin presence.
Off thru the city sat above an behind Gordon we have a clear view all round an very comfortable an safe.
It's not often am a passenger so thoroughly enjoyed takin in the sights an leavin the journey in the hands of very capable an proffessional Gordon.
After 20-30 mins we stopped down at drum sands cramond firth of forth where we were told some more aboot the area as far back as the romans had a good blether aboot music tipples an motorbikes accompanied by some tea shortbread an the highlight of the tour a dram of monkey shoulder triple malt whisky, gave a nice wee heat tae the core oan a blisterin wind swept beach in bonnie scotland
Few more pictures an we wur off again headin back tae the city centre to oor pick up/drop off point an gordon keepin us informed an amused aw the way.
Altogether a great experience an a must fur any an all regardless of age gender whether interested in bikes trikes or not.
Definitely a great gift an 1 that will be remembered by anybody lucky enough tae recieve or if ye wanted tae treat yersel.
There is a variety of tours an different locations an i will definitely be back again next year for loch lomond tour.
All staff i dealt with wur excellent proffessional pleasant an fast responses to emails an helpful with my enquiries an next day received email with all the professionally took photos which is included in price.
All in ma son an i had a great day in no small part to gordon an will definitely be usin this service again for myself an others as a gift.
Big thanks again tae Gordon an the unseen staff, see ye's in 2014.
