My family and I did two tours with Experienced Tours while we were in Edinburgh, the first with Alexander who was excellent and the second with Michael, who just absolutely blew us away. Because we got to spend a bit more time with Michael, our whole family was enamored with him. He has such a wonderfully warm personality and excellent stories that made this tour the highlight of our entire two-week trip to Scotland/Ireland.
When we come back to Edinburgh, we are all going to be requesting tours from Michael-- he is the epitome of an incredible tour guide.

Our family had a great tour -- our guide was not only knowledgeable, but also just delightful and fun to spend the day with. He made sure we got what we wanted out of the trip and was full of fun facts and stories. Wonderful day. Highly recommend.

We had a great day! Sean was an excellent tour guide. Saw a little bit of everything. First we hit a few of the Outlander filming sites, then we were off to St. Andrews. Had a nice lunch in the club house where after we had some time to shop, touch the North Sea and see the golf museum. Next we enjoyed some delicious gin and whisky tasting, not Sean...he was driving. And we ended our trip back to Edinburgh driving along the coast stopping at some quaint fishing villages. What a great way to experience Scotland outside of Edinburgh. Highly recommend this trip.

Alexander was fantastic. Very friendly guy, great sense of humor, but more importantly, seemingly knows everything about the country he loves. We asked a lot of questions and he knew the answer and more to everything. Was an 8-9 hour tour that seemed like a 8-9 minute tour. Time flies when you're having a great time! Highly, highly recommended.

We were on limited time and decided the best way to see the sights would be by private van. We were not disappointed! I requested a customization to a tour and Alexander was happy to accommodate. Midhope Castle, Culrose, Falkland Palace and ST Andrews. Extremely knowledgeable about Scottish history and the Outlander film locations. Highly recommend!

This tour was the most amazing part of our stay in Scotland! Hazel, our guide, texted us the day before to let us know she would be our guide and confirmed our pick up location. What a relief to hear from her the day before and just be assured that your reservation is solid!
She picked us up and WOW! What an experience! She was so knowledgeable and so MUCH FUN!! We went off the beaten path, she educated us on so much history, beauty, and the people! She made sure we did what we wanted on our timeline while squeezing in the must see stuff.
This was our favorite day in Scotland, with our favorite person, and Hazel, We love you, Hazel!! our home is yours when you come to Colorado!! Please visit!

We had an amazing customized day trip to St Andrews from Edinburgh city centre.
Our tour guide Alexander was absolutely fantastic and made sure we enjoyed every minute of the tour. He arranged a last minute lunch at an amazing location and shared so much interesting facts and details with us the whole day.
This was definitely one of the best tours we have been on and can really recommend it to anyone whom would like to see St Andrews and surrounds at your own pace and agenda.

Alexander was f*****g outstanding. His knowledge, enthusiasm and kindness are a genuine joy. I highly recommend taking a tour with him. You will leave feeling like you've learned much about Scottish culture, politics and history while also having gained a new friend in Alexander.

Can we leave and return to the Grassmarket Hotel in Edinburgh. and what would the cost be for 2 senior adults. Would there be others on the tour?
