In all our travels we have never ever had the kind of service that was provided both before during and after our touring. He went above and beyond and providing us information suggestions and first rate tours of both the Scottish Highlands and an outlander tour !! Kevin McHugh was amazing as was Gary Ross we cannot recommend them enough Wee Scottish Tours delivers on its promise. The van was extraordinarily comfortable, and pristine . We truly cannot think of anyone who could’ve given us a better tour or a better Scottish experience.

Wee Scottish Tours was easy to deal with and very reliable. We had an amazing day seeing old towns, castles and lochs near the Highlands. We also had tasty food and a scotch whiskey tour at one of the Speyside distilleries. Our guide, Will, was friendly, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. We learned an incredible amount about Scottish history and culture, and had a great time!

Visiting Edinburgh to see some old friends (who live here now) and we spent a fantastic day with Will! I worked with Kevin to modify their Stirling tour and see some of the sites associated with my Scottish ancestors as well as get a "wee" taste of the highlands. Will was brilliant and I really appreciated that he worked in some special things, like heading to the church where my ancestors had registered their birth/baptism/marriage. I also quite liked that we stopped for lunch at a fantastic place that was a mash up of an upscale farmers' market and country restaurant. Really was a fantastic day. My only complaint is that it all went by too quickly.

Can’t recommend Wee Scottish Tours and our guide William enough. Communication was excellent before our two day tour and William was a delight - a wealth of knowledge and so personable and enjoyable. He made our two days touring St Andrews and the Highlands one of our family’s favorite part of our time in Scotland.

We had the best time with Kevin on our tour of Harry Potter sites in Edinburg and the St Andrews golf course in St Andrews. He suggested the aquarium for our grandkids which was right by the golf course. We finished with fish and chips from a local restaurant he recommended. Kevin is the absolute best and we look forward to seeing him again!

Me and my son took a tour up to Glencoe with Kevin. We really enjoyed the experience. The drive was beautiful. Kevin was very knowledgeable on the history and had a bunch of funny stories to share. We did a day tour out of Edinburgh to the Scottish Highlands that also included a whisky tasting. Kevin picked us up right from our Hotel and took us on an amazing journey into the Highlands. I mentioned off handily at the start of the tour if we would get to see any Highland cows and Kevin was able to make an adjustment to our plans for the day where we not only saw some cows but got to feed them! The Highlands themselves were absolutely stunning, even if you aren't much of a photographer it is hard to take a bad picture. And all along the drive Kevin will tell you stories and history related to Scotland. The Whisky tasting alone would have made the trip worth it! We were able to do our tasting straight from the barrel, even getting to try a whisky the company no longer produced. My husband who loves whisky really enjoyed his experience and it even helped me to appreciate whisky more. Overall, it is pretty clear the Kevin really enjoys his work and cares about making your tour with him the best experience ever. If you are looking to make your trip to Scotland I would absolutely use Wee Scottish tours to help make your vacation unforgettable!

Booked Kevin for awkwardly timed airport travel to another city , not Kevin’s normal thing but he agreed to help and I couldn’t have been happier, on time arrived in perfect time and the journeys didn’t seem as long as they actually were thanks to Kevin’s stories and banter, also he’s a good driver which helped with my wife’s anxiety when on motorways, thanks Kevin 10/10

Kevin did a fantastic job of asking what we were interested in, and then tailoring an experience for us that catered to our wide range of interests. He is also very friendly and fun to spend the day with! I also appreciated the fact that he is extremely knowledgeable about whiskey, and made it a day to remember for me. This was especially important given that my spouse in a non-drinker. Despite that, she enjoyed that aspect of the tour very much, which is a testament to Kevin’s skill as a story teller and guide extraordinaire! We spent four days in Scotland and the day with Kevin was by far the best. He even texted us occasionally in the days following the tour to check in and see if we needed advice, dining suggestions, etc., which turned out to be extremely useful. I highly recommend booking with Kevin for a tour!

Scottish Highlands Private Tour (July 31, 2022) I was looking for a tour for my elderly dad and myself in a comfortable vehicle without too much walking. I had provided Kevin with some addresses where our ancestors lived in Edinburgh. We were impressed that he arrived with the locations and drove us to each for a quick photo before the proper tour started. We spent a lovely day with our new friend Kevin, chatting, laughing and learning. The day was relaxed & flexible with stops for coffees and washroom breaks when needed. We drove by the Kelpies, Queensferry, Linlithgow Palace, several lochs, Stirling Castle, sheep farm, fed Honey the Highland Coo, met local cafe owners and then Rosslyn Chapel which was fascinating. I hope to visit Scotland again with my husband and son and spend another great day with Kevin.

From our first connection over a year ago to the mornings we were picked up and dropped off at Edinburgh airport, Wee Scottish Tours exceeded our expectations! We customized an 8-day excursion from Edinburgh through the highlands and the opening round of The Open. Kevin listened to our requests which included photo ops of castles, area wildlife, special scenic views, and made sure we got it all in- and then some. Along the way Kevin provided insight with his extensive knowledge of his country and a few interesting side stories you will just have to find out for yourself!! Kevin arranged a custom version of his St Andrews trip for us to add multiple stops at film locations for Outlander — our favorite TV series. Kevin is the expert on the show and is full of interesting details about the filming locations across Scotland and the show itself. I’m re-watching the early seasons now that I have his insights. We also enjoyed the St Andrews visit of course. Kevin was patience and great with the children and is simply a great tour guide. He is not only very knowledgeable but he is considerate and kind. Highly recommend.
