          Hatfield House is a revelation!!!
The season at Hatfield House has just opened. We were lucky enough to get Dermot as our guide to the Old Palace. We are both familiar with King Henry Vlll and his sorry treatment of religious orders and his 6 wives. However hearing Dermot illustrate these turbulent times within the very walls that were so pivotal to Tudor England and its Queens , well it was simply enthralling. We highly recommend the Old Palace tour and will return to hear and witness the history and majesty of the later Hatfield House.

          Dr Who walking tour.
We did this in February 2023 with family to help our son celebrate his 21st birthday. Stephen was an amazing guide and made our day extra fun filled. James Bond places and Info were thrown in too being Bond lovers and whovians it was the best. We promise to do another tour on next visit.

          Disgusted. Poor form.
Pity the website didn't mention that two of the major attractions were closed Monday and Tuesday. No mention of that when I bought two tickets 'for all attractions' Not impressed. We had pre booked a hotel an hour and a half further west, so either I waste good chunk of my ticket price, or make a three hour round trip to see the closed attractions. I should bill them for my time, petrol and parking. A disgrace. Never again.

Churchill tour was just the best
My wife and I just completed one of the most thorough tours on Winston Churchill. I’m so glad we selected this tour and it was everything we had Hope for. Our Tour Guide, Marty, was the most knowledgeable and interesting person. Eager to answer all your questions and certainly had all the answers. So glad we had the time together.

          Excellent East End Pub Tour
We had such a brilliant day with Stephen - one of the highlights was a drink at the infamous Blind Beggar. En route to each pub, Stephen told us so much about where we were, and it was especially fascinating to learn about Jack the Ripper, as well as see some of the very specific locations in which he operated. Absolutely recommend the tour and the guide - looking forward to the next one!

Needs to be respected as a museum.
Took my grandson to see this iconic museum. The display of aircraft is amazing, you get a real feeling for how small and flimsy the early craft were. The only disappointment was the behaviour of some very young children running riot ( literally ). They had no interest in the displays only in the play area and running around unsupervised by parents. Making an entry fee would surely stop this? Still a great day out. No complaints about the parking, food and the gift shop.

Kevin was great! We had trouble meeting up but he was so accommodating. Every question I asked, he had an answer and could give even more details.

Absolutely amazing place to keep you and your friends and family entertained for hours At first I thought it was a small museum but when I walked in there were many different hangars with different activities and aviation to view They also have a restaurant which serves food following the aesthetic such as the spitfire wings. Highly recommend to anyone of all ages, there is also a park for the young.

Still the best attraction in Durham.
You cannot fail to be impressed by this imposing cathedral and the history behind it. The welcome is warm and the stewards informative and chatty. There is so much to see and process. Memorials, tombs and the huge architecture. Do spend some time at the shrines of Beds and St Cuthbert, as well as appreciating the stained glass. To complement our visit we called into the cafe where we were served a lovely latte and a huge jam and cream scone, delicious and every bit homemade. A voluntary donation is requested and we were happy to donate, it was such a wonderful experience for a small amount of money.

Every single room was so remarkable and the whole parliament was full of details and colours. Nick , our trip guide was one of the best trip guides I ever meet. He knew every single detail of the parliament and he answered our questions with so much decency , accuracy and politeness , I highly recommend him as a trip guide!

          Churchill WWII History
A war buff historian must see. The war rooms give you an up close idea of what it was like to run the war from underground London. A bit claustrophobic, but efficiently set up to run Britains war machine. Fascinating as compared to today.

          Great private tour!
Did this tour with Andy - he was great. Very professional and answered all my questions. Was a wealth of knowledge about the Castle and Edinburgh / Scotland more broadly. He checked in throughout to ensure I was seeing the key things I wanted to see. Overall, a great morning!

          A little piece of history
We visited via our National trust membership, so not sure of the price of entry as we visited in December it was very wet on the paths, so it may be worth visiting in better weather conditions, when the gardens would also look at their best lots of history about the house and it is well furnished with most of the original pictures and furniture with NT volunteers giving lots of information. there is a history of WW2 map making which was held there during the war which was interesting to see. upstairs there is a dressing room for adults and children to dress up in Victorian clothes, so not accessible to all the cafe seating is outside so not good when wet! the car park is a steep walk down to the house too well worth a visit
