Each pass includes free entry to 78 sites throughout Scotland, as well as the bonus ‘Skip-the-Line’ option at busy attractions like Edinburgh Castle and Stirling Castle. With your pass, you’ll also enjoy discounts on audio tours at certain sites, and a helpful country guide that includes maps, venue information and a souvenir ‘passport’ book to have stamped. Note: Both passes are valid from first use. The 3-day pass must be used on any three days in a period of five consecutive days. The 7-day pass, on any 7 days in a period of 14 consecutive days.

WHAT A GREAT IDEA

We got 2 passes and it was worthwhile no queuing to get into both Stirling and Edinburgh castles and added to that also got into Doune castle with it a bargain, when we travel again to Scotland will get them again

The explorer pass is a great deal but there is a better option - read below.
