We loved the Mack brothers and their tour. We leaned so much about Scotland without it being drug out and boring. They kept our attention and the kids were captivated. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Roseleaf, which was a part of the tour. We would recommend to everyone .

We had the best day with Rowan!! He is knowledgeable, fun, and always focused on making sure you have the best experience possible! We had the privilege of meeting his brother Andy as well! You can just tell they both love what they do and really enjoy showing off their beautiful land to visitors!! Would absolutely do this anytime I’m back!!

We've had so many great tour experiences during our stay in Scotland, but this had to be our favorite. It was an unforgettable day and such a good contrast to our days in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Our guide Andy was excellent. He was early to pick us up. He tailored the stops to our preferences; namely, to see Outlander sites. The stops on the tour were perfect. The duration in between was just enough to rest up for the next adventure. Lunch was great. To cap it off, Andy recommended a restaurant in Edinburgh that ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip. This is a must-do while in Scotland.

Simply put, this was one of the most fun and informative guided tours we've ever had. Gareth was an amazing, clever, professional and humorous host. We did see some iconic Edinburgh sites for sure, but the lesser known, off the beaten path features were our favorite. We walked through beautiful, quiet gardens and lovely neighborhoods that most tourists never see. It was a bit of a challenge getting in and out of the Mini Cooper, but that just added to the fun and adventure! We ended the tour with a yummy included lunch at an incredible pub, a fantastic way to end the day!

AMAZING!!! We absolutely loved our tour with Rowan and Andy!! There were 7 of us so we had a mini copper and a van! They were so entertaining and accommodating to my family too! Highly recommend!! We could’ve hung out with them all day long!!

My family and I were only in Edinburgh for 2 days but we got to see so many different parts of Edinburgh that we wouldn't have otherwise experienced because of this tour. We went on many tours during our travels around the United Kingdom but my family all agreed that this one was our favorite. Our guide was Andy and he was very knowledgable about the city but kept the tour interesting. My 18-year-old brother didn't put his headphones in once throughout the tour, which is certainly indicative of how much we enjoyed it :)

Rowan was awesome! Showed up on time, was super-friendly, genuine, knowledgeable, and funny, and really gave us a sense of the city. I felt like he took us to places we wouldn’t have otherwise known about, and like I’m a lot more comfortable navigating on my own after being with him! Specifically, he knew a lot about architecture and environmental topics, which my wife and I enjoyed very much since we’re into both those things. I’ve been on tours before that seemed to drag, and this was the exact opposite of that. The time flew along and I wanted to go for another 4 hours!

If you want to learn the real history of Edinburgh this is the tour for you. You will visit different areas of the city from Old Town to New Town to the coast. Along the way you will learn what life has been like over the last 500 years. No embellishments of facts like larger tour companies offer for entertainment. Rowan was my guide.
