- cfranklin1000 contributionsOutlander Tour with GerryWe had a great Gerry touring all the Outlander filming locations! He was super knowledgeable about everything Outlander!! He was super accommodating and I would highly recommend him. He also knows a lot about Scottish history. I thoroughly delightful day.Written August 10, 2018
- MickR660 contributionsOutlander, Harry Potter and More!Gerry took great care of my teenaged daughters and me during three days out of Edinburgh and Inverness. We had a very ambitious schedule and Gerry kindly accommodated us so that we managed to see and learn so much about Scotland. We came with a particular focus on Outlander but also wanted to see other highlights around the country. We were thrilled to unexpectedly learn a lot about Harry Potter because we are also big fans of that series of books and films. Gerry is both knowledgeable and entertaining which made our tour a truly memorable and enjoyable experience!Written August 16, 2017
- dfcarrington0 contributionsOutlander out of EdinburghMy husband gave this tour to me as a 'surprise' anniversary present, and we also invited my sister and first cousin to come along. We all had plans to tour Scotland together for 2-3 weeks, so this tour was part of our Edinburgh experience. What a highlight of our trip! We got to see areas of Scotland, small towns, and castles that we would never had seen had it not been for our knowledge-filled tour guide, Ann, and her detailed commentaries during the tour. She was thoroughly versed in all things Outlander, as well as a strong local historian who provided lots of context for the story narrative. Most of all, after seeing the filming locations, we ended our day-long tour full of amazement and appreciation for the Outlander creative production team, which used the beautiful country of Scotland to give birth to the story. I highly recommend this tour for all Outlander fans and anyone who wants to learn more about Scotland past and present.Written August 8, 2016
- kayr3320160 contributionsFascinating TourI had a wonderful time on the Outlander tour with our guide, Jerry. He is so informative/knowledgeable on not only things about the show, but on Scottish history. I leaned so much. He is so approachable and welcoming; making it a joy to be on the trip with him. We saw some beautiful locations in the Fife region and I actually returned some months later to walk part of the Fife Coastsl walk to enjoy more of the area. A tour worth takin even if you don't watch Outlander.Written July 27, 2016
- mmrw19710 contributionsOutlander out of GlasgowI took this tour with my son and nephew yesterday out of Glasgow. Our tour guide Gerry, picked us up at the port terminal as we were coming from a cruise ship for one day. The tour time posted on the website from 9-6 but our ship was leaving at 5:30pm so I asked if he could bring us back early. Not only did he assure me he would have us back in time, he also picked us up when the ship docked at 7am so we would not miss out on anything. Gerry was the perfect guide to this tour. He catered it around what was most important for me to see. He was extremely knowledgeable of not only the TV show but of the books as well. He had wonderful stories to tell about, the locations, scenes, behind the scenes info, but also of Scottish history facts and folklore. I was so impressed, when I get back home I am going to book another trip (not cruise) to Scotland and have Gerry show me more. Out of 5 stars I give this a solid 10. It's worth every penny. If you like Outlander or just great scenery, this is the tour for you. Good guides and visits familiar from the books and TV show. Beautiful scenery in the Highlands.

Paying for a private tour was well worth it. Being able to move at your own pace, stop in at a shop or cafe when you please, and have conversations about the history and locations one on one with your guide make the experience one you'll remember!

Why does this say it visits the Highlands when there is no mention of it in the itinerary?
