About
Combine the majestic heights of Royal Deeside with the epic cliff-top site of Dunnottar Castle. For almost 150 years, the British royal family have travelled to the River Dee for their holidays. With almost unlimited cash and resources, why do they always come here? We think there’s an easy answer. This area encapsulates everything everyone loves about Scotland. You find grand castles enclosed by pine forests. You look up at the highest plateau in Britain in the Cairngorms National Park. And there’s enough nearby distilleries to satisfy any royal event. So, who wouldn’t want to escape to the fresh air of this location? On this tour, we combine her Majesty’s favourite holiday spot with a trip to Dunnottar Castle, one of the most historically important and visually arresting sights in Scotland. Hop aboard this tour, see an epic castle, and discover whether you have the same taste as the royals.

Taking in consideration the recent Storm in Scotland and North England many cities and roads were blocked and without electricity and water. The Rabbies company took care not to miss anything and we took an alternative road and attractions to see. I just love their Company and standards not to mention the customer service of beyond and above of our driver/guide Doug!!! Even if the trip was shorter than advertised as pre-book before, they are willing to consider partial refund as well! What can we ask more really? Spot on! We had one previously from Edinburgh to Loch Lomond & Sterling Castle! They cover a lot of the main Scotland scenary! If we had better weather and not emergency weather conditions we were booked for Lock Ness trip as well! This will be done for sure next time we visit Scotland! See you soon! Love Scotland 🥰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Fantastic walk from Stonehaven via the Harbour and then the costal path past the War Memorial. Inexpensive to access and great information on the history of the cable thru the ages.

Absolutely fantastic tour run by Alice!! We went on 24th August as myself and 5 year old son Arthur.

The scenery is stunning and the commentary by Alice was funny, Interesting and very informative.

Dunnottar Castle is fantastic and you get plenty of time to explore. The other drops are all within an hour or so of each other so perfect. You get to see castles, waterfalls and lovely towns and fantastic scenery.

Alice was the star of the show and really made my son feel extremely welcome and kept him entertained at all times. Kept him involved in decisions and he really made a friend.

The coach was very comfortable and new so perfect for the trip.

Overall a fantastic day tour run by a fantastic guide. Alice is a credit to the company!!!

Overall a fantastic day tour that is extremely good value for money.

My mum and I went on this trip and had an exciting day visiting the lovely Dunnottar castle and enjoying the view of beautiful English gardens and castles while driving through the (very) green Scottish countryside!

Our guide was funny, professional and seemed to know everything. He was very flexible and we were able to have a few extra stops too watch wild animals (dear, squirrels, birds etc.).

Please do check out the fancy hotel during the lunch break!
