      First class day out.
As a solo traveller I chose the small group tour. The smaller coach was comfortable and clean. Determined to make the most of my Belfast trip. Paul our driver was first class. His knowledge of the area exceptional. Made everyone feel included with his wit and banter. He even gave us a wee song on the bus! Legend of a guy! An asset to the company.

      Awesome trip and views!
Views were awesome. What I imagined Ireland to be like. Great driver. Loved the stops along the way. Definitely recommend this to others. The coast highway is beautiful.

Our guide Martin was so informative, sharing lots of info along our entire trip. The Giants causeway was totally great!
We had a tremendous trip. Martin had so much great information all along the way. the Giants Causeway was tremendous and incredibly windy! We hiked most of it and then took the stairs back up with the walk to the visitors center. Saw lots of castles and learned an about Irish history, the Troubles, as well as what's going on with the conflict that still exists in Northern Ireland. Highly recommend this tour!

      Fantastic Time
We had a day of torrential wind and rain, yet still had a fantastic time. Our driver Paul was excellent. Some stories and jokes made the trip go a bit faster. We did pack a lunch to eat on the way, but the first stop made has a nice market. So you could easily pick something up too. We had plenty of time at all the stops, including almost two full hours at the Causeway. I would highly recommend this tour.

      Good tour, great driver
Overall we rated this a 4 instead of a 5 as a few of the stops were a just a bit underwhelming, however we would still recommend as a great way to spend the day and beautiful countryside. As well our driver Paul was outstanding, most definitely a 5 star with great knowledge, great story telling and even a good old Irish song

      Great Day Out
Great way to have a look around outside Belfast city. Beautiful countryside and very knowledgable driver/guide. Although it was a full day's tour, it went very quickly.

Awesome Day on the Belfast Coast
What a full and wonderful day! It was all we could have hoped for. The time at each of the locations was perfect! The choice for lunch was extraordinary with an amazing view. When people ask what my favorite part of our British Isles cruise was, this was it! Thank you Odyssey.

      Amazing experience
Everything worked fine. Driver/guide was professional, knowledgeable and funny. He gave exact times when we had to be back on bus on every stop. And that arrangement worked. Stops were appropriately sized. Weather was sunny and warm and views on the route were amazing.

Great tour of this beautiful part of Northern Ireland
Very impressed with the booking process and clear instructions for joining the coach. Small group and itinerary meant we got to Giant's Causeway ahead of the crowds. Travelled by the coast and the glens of Antrim with time for a lunch break at lovely cafe and for a final tour round the different areas of Belfast

      Giants causeway
The guide was a mind of information at all points of the tour. He knew exactly where we needed to be and at what time in order to miss the hoarded of coaches. The sights were amazing and we sore what a beautiful country N.I is

Buyer Beware of this Tour Operator (happy to take your money!)
First of all, will share the pluses so to speak, smaller bus so less people to be late to get back on it! Overall, driver was extremely rude and insulting and seemed to have an issue with solo women (independent) travelers too! His rudeness was observed by others on the tour for the day and he was rude to another solo female traveler too. Also, seats/leg room are no different than any other bus, maybe even more narrow (the seats). If a tour to Giants Causeway fits into your schedule in terms of pick up and drop off, etc. maybe book with this tour operator. All in all, driver was not much of a guide to share information that would have been helpful (seemed unengaged in his work), nor was he helpful as to where to go to the restroom prior to leaving for the day since the bus does not have one. Buyer beware! There are other tour operators and for less, and if can get a small group together to hire a driver for the day (or rent a car yourself), you will so much more enjoy more time at Giants Causeway. As for Northern Ireland, absolutely beautiful, especially along the coast, and Ireland in general is quite beautiful too!!!

      Great commentary and beautiful views
What a great day out. The driver (and I feel awful, but realise I did not catch his name - we went on Sunday 8th September) was entertaining throughout the day, relaying us with stories and facts about each area we went to. We chose the small coach - 26 people which was comfortable, and lots of stops (and comfort stops) to see beautiful scenery. The Giant's Casuseway was incredible to see and well worth the trip. Extremely good value for money.

The staff at the port was very disorganized in getting everyone on the bus. There was a lot of confusion on who was on the large motor coach tour and the smaller group tour. This was a multi-stop tour with an hour-long stop for lunch on your own. The comfort of the supposed "small" group tour was very hot inside the van, with ultra tiny seats and nonworking A/C. If you're fat, your body spills over into the personal space of your seatmate. There are no window shades, so we got cooked by the sun. The driver, Jim, was not very engaging, but gave enough factual info.

The highlight was supposed to be Giant's Causeway, and they claimed to get us there earlier than all the other tour buses. Not true. We got there at the peak of the tourist day and the shuttle bus to the site had a wait of 30 minutes at a cost of 2 pounds cash only, which nobody told us ahead of time. The site itself is interesting if you like geological formations, but otherwise boring. It's a strenuous walk around once you get to the site and not for the elderly or if you have knee problems. Wear hiking boots to navigate over the stones.

Thank you for your review The staff done a great job on the day, considering your ship did not dock at the advertised time. There were a few people got confused about which bus they were on, this was easily and quickly sorted for them. You were on a bus with 18 seats and extra leg room, your comment about ultra tiny seats is just not true. There are curtains on all tour buses, saying there were no window shades is just not true. We got you to the Giants Causeway before the other buses at the port. The Giants Causeway is a World Heritage site and a Tourist attraction (expect tourists) we have absolutely no control over the amount of people from around the world who visit on any particular day. We stop in Ballycastle for lunch and inform all passengers of the wide variety of places to eat, and they can decide what they would prefer to eat or drink. The aircon gas did runout during the tour and we only had the use of forced air, curtains and opened windows, this part of the review is true. Stating you were not informed about the shuttle bus was also untrue as you were informed at the site when we arrived and below is the information on your booking confirmation. Additional costs Giants causeway visitor centre £12.00 GBP per person. Anyone not wishing to visit the centre can access the Causeway without going through the Centre F.O.C.(free of charge). Causeway bus to the stones £1.00 GBP per person each-way. National Trust Members – bring your membership card!

We had an incredible day exploring the natural beauty of Giants Causeway and the Antrim coast. Parts were very misty, but as much as he wanted to, Stephen wasn’t able to control the weather. What he could control was the excellent balance of entertaining yet very informative information, with time to just take in the beautiful surroundings and he did a great job. The tour of the peace walls was very moving. The topic of The Troubles can be so hard to explain without bias, but despite him saying that he grew up here, I could never tell Catholic/Protestant, Unionist/Nationalist. He educated without blame or bias - and with lots of humor.

We booked online, and the coach was waiting as we came off the ship. Stephen, our driver, was excellant and gave us balanced, impartial and knowledgable commentary along the route. We had a stop in Belfast to see the Peace Wall which I hadn't expected. Overall, a fantastic tour

If you want a comfortable bus, an informative (and entertaining) driver, tons of picture opportunities all at a reasonable price....this is the company and tour for you. On the day of our tour we were blessed with crisp but clear weather, so the picture opportunities were abundant. Don't be afraid to ask the driver, ours was Tony I believe, all kinds of questions as he is an encyclopedia of information. The final portion of the trip through Belfast and seeing the location of some of the conflict was very interesting. Yes, you will return to the ship in plenty of time. Certainly, don't be reluctant to purchase an Odyssey Tour.

Wow. We have done many tours around the word but Paul (the driver) should have been crowded the best tour guide in the North Irland. Everything was well planned, explained and very interesting. We had enough time to explore every part of the journey. The bus was very comfortable. We met very nice people. It's definitely worth the money. We were considering to take the public buses but no don't don't to yourself as you will learn much more from Paul - if you are lucky enough to have him..

Picked up from cruise terminal and had a wonderful my scenic drive to Giants Causeway. The Causeway was fascinating experience. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke clearly. After the causeway we had a great tour of Belfast. Would definitely recommend this shore excursion.

The bus was mid size, roomy and clean. We had a jump on the big buses and crowds. We were picked up at the cruise ship and returned in plenty of time. Highly recommend.

A very nice time - we discovered with good reason that Odyssey Coach Tours was a popular choice on our cruise visit! Direct booking and confirmation were easy; for timeliness, mind that the parking lot of the port near Belfast can seem more broad and disorienting on ground in comparison to smaller port companions on a passage. Emailed details did help; we thus found our way to Odyssey's coaches and vehicles without too much confusion or delay.

The tour certainly holds its own, even if on a limited schedule: we were driven by and past Belfast and whisked along the coast, dotted as described with quite picturesque towns and scenery. The Portaneevy viewpoint provides a stunning view around, and it's easy to see why Giant's Causeway is as renowned as it is. Travel was quite comfortable, particularly for the extra leg room bus: USB, WiFi, cushy seats, and with an uncrowded group size inside all while we went more or less en masse in the tourist flow.

Our guide, Jim, fairly wouldn't be called on the boisterous side of the style, but no fault here - through the course of our tour he was just as informative and forthcoming as other guides and marked his narration with both deadpan wit and sincerity as needed, the latter evident as we wove our way back in the streets of Belfast. Jim also admirably kept reins on our schedule, particularly with some boorish traffic at the Causeway lot. We felt we made the most of our allotted port day - no time for Dunluce Castle, but still back with a hand's breadth of all aboard - and that was in thanks to the fact that Jim knew the read of the road and timings to make the day work.

Can happily recommend this tour - do pay attention to the confirmation's other helpful notes such as that about the Causeway bus (one GBP per person each way). Many thanks, Jim, Odyssey, for a lovely time.
