Our 2 hour Black Cab tour of Belfast with Sean Mc was exceptional. Sean had a friendly and conversational style that made it easy to ask questions. His personal experiences as a Belfast native during the modern Troubles helped us better understand the views and perspectives of all sides in this long and complex piece of history.

My boyfriend and I took a tour this afternoon with Gerard. It’s incredible the amount of information he shared with us about the troubles and the history of the area. We were able to visit both sides of the city and travel along the peace walls as we learned about what it was like living in this area during the height of the troubles. This is my first time to Belfast and I truly appreciated the time Gerard took to explain the history in great detail with pictures and stops along the way. I know so much more now that I’ve taken this tour. It’s very clear how much this city means to Gerard and his personal stories help to convey what it’s like to live here and to carry on a family legacy. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to gain a first-hand education on the recent history of the city. I have homework to do now! Gerard gave us recommendations of movies and books to explore to continue our education. Thank you!

I am visiting Belfast for the first time, traveling from the US. This tour is worth every penny, Gerard was my tour guid and he was very knowledgeable on the history of this city’s divide. He was very diplomatic and allowed me to fully understand this city’s history and beyond. He tells it like it is, and comes from a diverse background himself, not swayed by either political side. I was able to take pictures and he showed me original news articles, artifacts, along with movies and books recommendations for me to read to fully understand the history. He was friendly and promptly on time. When visiting Belfast, ensure to book this tour, it has really opened my eyes!

We had a brilliant tour with our guide on Saturday. He was absolutely amazing, it was beyond our expectations. He was so informative. We learned so much about Northern Ireland and the troubles.He was so knowledgeable, we were blown away. It's an absolute must for anyone visiting Belfast . I had done another tour a few years ago but Admiral Chauffeurs took it to another level. I would highly recommend them and have been telling everyone I met about our tour. How do I even begin.....The adventure was more than expected. Our driver, Gerard, not only gave us a clear history, but gave us his personal experiences during "the troubles". He was knowledgeable and personable. The drive took us to local neighborhoods with their histories and an explanation of the murals around the city. My recommendation is to take this tour and book in advance....you don't want to miss out.

We all loved this. Our tour guide, Brendan, was so knowledgeable. It was so much more informative than a black taxi tour years ago. Great tour and driver!

Gerard picked us up from the cruise port and took us to the north country: Giants Causeway, Dark Hedges, and more. Picked out a great lunch and picnic spot. The Hip Chip in Bushmills was amazing. And the a quick stop in Titanic Belfast to see the Nomadic. Great day filed with touching personal stories and general history.

Gerard gave us a day to remember. He was at the port to welcome us to Belfast and help us to beat the crowds! The Dark Hedges were completed with costumes from GOT and pictures that will make us laugh for years to come. The scenery was augmented with stories of Irish history which was personal and touching. The highlight of the trip was his mom’s ginger cake that was amazingly delicious. He managed to find Aran ponchos for us, a lovely fish and chips beach side picnic, and a quick stop for photos at the Nomatic that made my husband’s day:) Gerard is a warm, funny, humorous guide with a wealth of knowledge about Ireland and a great love for his country. One of the best tours we have ever booked!
