Two of us took the personal tour 9/13/24 with Jim and his co-guide Polly. He maneuvered us all around the major sites and filled in all the details. He provided details from both sides of the Troubles and answered all our questions. Definitely recommend if you have knowledge of the Troubles or are just learning. Jim was full of info and we thoroughly enjoyed.

Our scheduled tour guide cancelled with us the night before we went to Belfast. Fortunately we came across another guide at the train station who happened to be available. He was amazing and the tour was great

Appreciate peace. This is the lesson I walked away with. Sean was amazing, a historian & storyteller. There is no way a person could experience Belfast & and its tender & tenuous history if on their own. An absolute must do.

Would recommend. Very informative. I had no idea how bad it had been but the tour gave us a good idea. We also had some time in the Irish Republican History Museum which was very interesting. Our guide, Jim answered all of our questions and provided an unbiased opinion of events.

David, our host gave us a first person view of how the Troubles impacted him and his family. As he discussed those very difficult times , friends and neighbors waved and went about their business. He took time to answer lots of questions and give us a view of today's Belfast. I am old enough to remember the 1970-1980 conflict and it put a personal face on it. I think the standard deviation of tour guides is high and David is at the top of the list........highly recommended.

It was an incredible tour. Mal drove us to all the important places and his knowledge was inexhaustible! His knowledge combined with the stories are what makes this tour so special. We really enjoyed having a taxi and the driver just for ourselves, which made the whole trip very intense! I can only recommend this tour to everyone. Tony, our black taxi cab driver and guide, took us on an exceptionally informative and interesting political information and peace wall tour thru a small part of Belfast. The tour was supposed to only be an hour but he went overtime as he didn’t rush us and patiently answered all of our questions. In the end, he shared his own personal journey, which was very touching and which caused my wife to shed a few tears. Thank you, Tony, for the outstanding and very real experience.

Amazingly informative and professional guided tour for 5 individual uncommon friends sharing. In case you don't read long reviews, if ever booking with Cambell's just ask for DAMIEN as your Driver. An encyplediac knowledge of his subject, based on lived experience in the area, throughout the troubles and delivered in a very balanced and unbiased manner. Arrived at Hotel pick up 15 minutes early, and drop off 40 minutes after the 1.5 hour schedule, most unsparing of his time, being fully immersed in answering all our questions at the many stop off points throughout the trip. We were left with a thorough understanding of the troubles, their origins, and implications for families in terms of tragic outcomes on both sides of the divide. But most importantly a great sense of hope that the peace dividend of the past quarter century will grow and deliver for the young generation born post troubles and even more importantly for the next generation.
