I read various reviews of many different tour operators before booking this one and oh boy did we make the right decision! We struck lucky with our wonderful tour guide Paul! What a gent! He was so friendly right from the start and quickly learnt the names of all his passengers especially noting both my daughters names and then including them in his commentary which they thought were hilarious! The commentary was fabulous, very interesting but also lots of funny stories too! The tour was just wonderful! It was great to see so many other sights along with Giants Causeway. We were very blessed to have such wonderful weather too! My girls are aged 11 and 13 and I worried how they would get on with a coach tour but they loved every minute and a lot of the credit really has to go down to the wonderful Paul! I can’t recommend Odyssey tours enough!! We loved that this was a small coach as it really wouldn’t have been the same if it was a bog coach full of lots of passengers. Best trip ever!

A great day from start to finish. Our driver Paul was lovely, funny, very knowledgeable and very friendly. He made the journey very enjoyable, with facts and information about parts of the journey, and bantering with people on the bus. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this tour to future travellers. Also, the coach was spacey, comfortable and clean.

Absolutely loved it. We were very fortunate to have beautiful sunny weather to see the bluffs at the ruins of Dunluce and walking the giants causeway. We got back to the coach just before it started to rain, not that it mattered as we were prepared for rain. Stopping at Carlough was a welcome surprise and enjoyed the views of the glens on our ride back for a quick city tour of Belfast.

If you have a short trip booked in Belfast and want to see the most you can see, book this tour!! The group is small enough that you will not have pictures flooded with people or too many wild kids. This was the best tour I have done, I am not much of a tour person at all. I am a find your own way kind of solo traveler but this was exactly what day trip tours should be! We saw so much, had plenty of bathroom breaks, and it felt like being driven around by a local so it was everything I would like to get out of a trip. Usually I would drive myself around but I was so glad to get to sit back and relax but still see the country like I would if I was on my own.

We used Odyssey Tours for an excursion to The Giants Causeway and our driver, Paul, helped to make it a memorable occasion. He was knowledgeable and amusing and prepared to chat openly about all things Irish!
The Giants Causeway is amazing to visit and the additional stops at places of interest along the way made a long trip even more worthwhile. Unfortunately a couple of points on the itinerary were closed because of the pandemic, but with a bit of improvisation by Paul we didn’t feel short changed!!
Highly recommend this day out.

If you are staying in Belfast for a few days, I would recommend taking some time out from the city & enjoy a day out to the north coast. It was a great tour full of interesting information and a great scenery. Our driver Paul 'B' was brilliant & fun and full of local knowledge. Would not hesitate to use this company again.

Small comfortable coach tour to Giants Causeway and the coastal road area driven by the excellent Paul who was very informative and quite funny. Unfortunately because of the pandemic some parts were not open, but Paul improvised with slight changes in the itinerary which worked. Would recommend.

Great tour, really reasonably priced- Paul B was our guide and was very friendly and knowledgeable (albeit cheeky- watch out for the pyramid...!) I’m here off season, during stormy weather and we still achieved many sites-all of which are beautiful! Pick up and drop off location is really easy to locate. Whilst it’s a busy, full packed day, you have time to relax eat drink and take a plethora of photos. Wear comfortable shoes and pack an extra layer as can be nippy by the coast. Most places prefer cash so if you can, pop to the cash machine before boarding the coach. I have nothing bad to say about this tour and highly recommend it x

Friends
We have just returned from a wonderful day trip led and driven by Jim. It was very well organised and Jim gave an informative and amusing commentary at relevant points during the tour. On several occasions he got us to the attraction before other groups arrived so we were able to enjoy the space and take photos of the views with relative ease. The highlight was, of course, the Giant’s Causeway, where we had plenty of time to explore, eat our picnics and take photos. The other stops were interesting and picturesque, all helped by the absolutely beautiful weather we were lucky enough to experience today.
Thank you, Jim, we enjoyed our day with you!

Most enjoyable day trip. Picturesque drive up the coast. Our driver was very friendly. He did just the right amount of talking whilst being informative. Good range of stops with sufficient time at each. Great value for money.

How close do you get to the Rope Bridge on this tour? Are you actually AT the bridge (but not crossing it I understand), or are you just looking down upon it from up above?
Tricia H

Unfortunately at the moment the Rope Bridge is not open. Our driver took us to a lookout spot quite a way from the bridge to get photos. I believe when it is open they park closer and then you walk down to the Bridge if you want closer photos or to walk across. They were unable to give any indication when the Rope Bridge will reopen at this stage. Hope that helps.

do you have any tours that pick pop from cruise ships in port. We dock at 8 so would be disembarking by 9?

Hi. Can't remember exactly how long this tour allowed us at Giants Causeway, it was approx 1.5hrs. Personally it was enough time for leisurely walk down to bay, and 20/ 30mins to wander around and slow walk back. Didn't feel rushed but adequate to take photos and sit for a bit. One girl on tour walked up cliff and took path back, so time to time to do this. You can get bus there and back which would save time but long queues. Imagine that most tour companies spend same time there.
