Amazing experience. Daniel's extensive local knowledge and great storytelling abilities made this a real experience to remember. I'd been to Stonehenge before and had no idea how much I'd missed by not having Daniel there with us! Having had both experiences I can testify to just how much more interesting and rewarding the trip was with his insights. Well worth every penny. I highly recommend a private tour with Daniel - we'll be looking to use him again next time we're in the area. Also Daniel was fantastic with his COVID precautions, taking it seriously, minimizing risk, and always being sure we were comfortable throughout the trip.

Thank you for your fantastic review and recommendation. It was a real delight meeting all of you and showing you around Bath and of course the majestic Stonehenge. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Bath and have lots of fun in the Cotswolds. I look forward to showing you more of the wonders in the region when you are next in the area! Wishing you all many more great experiences together, Daniel.

This was a perfect experience organized by Daniel. We are a family if 6: 2 adults and 4 kids (14, 12, 10 and 8). Daniel has been able to adapt to the entire family, speaking with us in an easy English (we are not native speakers) and keep the kids motivated and curious during the entire day. Bath is a beautiful place. Stonehenge is simply magical… between both places, Daniel has organized a surprise with the visit if a owls « hospital » where the kids spent time with owls and even fly them. Simply perfect day with Daniel! I can only recommend it!

Thank you for this great review and recommendation Jean Marc. It was great fun showing you and your family around Bath and Stonehenge - your children have the highest score I have ever seen on the sarsen pulling challenge! The owl experience is incredible - I was delighted to be able to customise your tour to include this. If you and your family are ever in this region again do get in touch :) Wishing you and your family many more great trips together, Daniel.

The full day tour of Bath and Stonehenge with Daniel was amazing and vastly exceeded all expectations I had.

I'm a big history buff so I was pretty pumped from the start, but I took my two daughters (11/13) with me, who think most history/architeture stuff is boring, and were both pretty skeptical of how fun the tour would be before it started.

However, Daniel was fantastic at explaining the history of what we were looking at in an engaging way, balancing humor and facts, that kept my girls interested and excited to learn more. Daniel was able to answer questions we had and showed an impressive academic and personal knowledge of the area.

Daniel made sure at every step of the tour that we had what we needed - that we were hearing about what interested us, that we had enough to eat and drink, etc. At the end of the tour, he even went out of his way to help us find a Bath gift shop that was open later on a Sunday so one of my daughters could get a souvenir.
Maybe the most impressive part was that a couple of hours after the tour was over, I got an email from Daniel with a bunch of suggestions for things to do in the town we had told him we were going to next that were personalized for us based on what we had been talking about. That was amazingly good service that I haven't seen anywhere else before.

I couldn't possibly recommend a tour with Daniel more, my kids and I were floored by how great the experience was!

We did the Bath City Tour one morning, and then the Falconry tour followed by Stonehenge Insider tour. It was amazing.

In all areas, I felt that Daniel was worth every cent. He is truly a font of all things Bath and he was so accommodating to our needs. We were a party of 3. One of us was 77 and needed a little more driving than walking. He was able to help with that. Another one of our party was 8, and needed someone to be engaging and tolerant of silliness. Daniel had spoken to me beforehand about our party's needs and was fabulous on the day. It was so fun.

I couldn't recommend him more! if you're on the verge of booking, do it! Especially the falconry and stonehenge tour. AMAZING.

Wow! 500 stars - thank you Jenny! I am glad you all had an amazing time. It was a real pleasure meeting all of you and designing a customised tour to include Bath, Stonehenge and of course the fabulous hawk-flying experience. I was delighted that we were able to get the special inner circle tickets at Stonehenge so that we could go inside the stone circle and witness the beautiful sunset. I hope your Mum enjoys the rest of her time in the UK. Wishing you all many more great experiences together, Daniel.

My sister and I were visiting my nephew who just moved to London for work. We wanted to tour Stonehenge and Bath and see a little country side in between all in one day. We wanted a guide but also needed a driver to transport us in between the two locations. Bath Insider Tours, Daniel, was the perfect fit, not only for his great driver skills but he had the knowledge, the communication skills and a great sense of humor. Daniel’s car was very nice, comfortable and clean. Right off the bat he seemed like an old friend we hadn’t seen for awhile. The three of us or I should say the four of us had a fabulous time. Daniel was waiting for us at the Bath Spa train station, we headed for Stonehenge since it closes early in the winter. He made the visit so much more with his knowledge, others were listening in as he guided us through the museum and out to the stones. I told him we would like to see some different country side on our return to Bath and he took us a different route back stopping by to see one of the large white horses carved into the chalked hill that date back to the Bronze Age. Really cool! We then stopped at a 700 year old pub, The George Inn, in Norton St Philip, for lunch. The fireplace was going but sadly no hound dog but the food was delicious. We headed on into Bath where we had a wonderfully enriched walking tour, drank and toasted with some of the hot springs mineral water, before catching our train back to London.

I can not recommend Daniel enough.
My dad and I travelled to Bath to have a tour to Stonehenge which was amazing, I didn’t know a lot about the history with Stonehenge and Daniel took a lot of time to explain everything to us.

Then Daniel did a tour around the stunning city of Bath, which was my absolute favourite. I didn’t really know what to expect, but let me tell you it was incredible learning all the history of the city.
Not only the history but also making it extra special for me, he took the time to take us places where Bridgerton was filmed. He also had photos to show therefore i new exactly what part of the movie he was showing us.
Thank you so much Daniel for a memory myself and dad will forever have, wish you all the best.
Hopefully see you next time we come to visit.

OMG Dan was awesome! Take this tour! Dan is a knowledgeable native. He gives a multimedia tour of Bath and Stonehenge starting from 860 BC through to modern filming crews in Bath. As the three of us strolled though Bath, Dan covered the growth of this resort town through the centuries. He stopped at a doorway then showed us a clip from Brigerton filmed there; the bridge where Russel Crowe jumps to his death in Les Miserables; and the clip of a runaway delivery truck damaging that same bridge “; a picture of WWII damage to the Francis Hotel; the significance of pigs and acorns seen around town. He covers it all from the Roman baths to Georgian society to Jane Austen scenes to famous people who visited Bath to where you get the best fudge. We then drove out of Bath to lunch at a wonderful pub on our way to Stonehenge. Once again Dan easily summarized the current theories of the meaning of this mystical place and the surrounding burial mounds. You won’t regret spending the day with Dan. He even gave me, the trip organizer ,a gift!

Daniel was fantastic from the moment I first emailed until the moment he dropped us off.

First off, he is very knowledgeable and a local Bathonian. He knows the ins and outs of Bath and its surrounds. A surprise stop for an impromptu breakfast in a 700 year old inn that was fantastic is one of the few surprises we got throughout our trip.

Second, the booking process was great. He was patient with questions, helpful with all the answers, and we actually finalized our plans while he was on his own vacation!

Third, he is genuinely pleasant to be around (which is so important!). We loved talking about England, sports, traveling, and of course Bath and Stonehenge!

He made our last day in England truly memorable.
