Enjoyable Private Tour of Stonehenge, Bath, and Beyond
My husband and I went on the Stonehenge & Secret England tour. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Simon was knowledgeable and personable. I appreciated hearing all the history on Stonehenge, but then also getting to hear about Lord Bath, the local area, as well as visiting some English villages. Enjoyed learning about Mells and the Horner family, and had tea in a pretty garden. Simon took us to interesting sites that we would not have found on our own, and we enjoyed our conversations. Highly recommend!

A day in the southern Cotswolds.
Roland Hurrell served as our driver/guide for a day tour out of Bath, and into the southern Cotswolds. We wanted to see historical architecture, countryside, and local flavor. We were completely pleased with the itinerary Roland planned, as well as his knowledge of the area. We especially enjoyed his historical knowledge . . . unsurprising given that his career was teaching history to 13-18 year-olds. Roland is an engaging and knowledgeable guide, and solicitous of his guests' comfort. I'd enjoy traveling with him again, and would recommend him 100% favorably. Cheers

Fantastic Tour Company for your Stonehenge / Cotswold Visit!
Our group of 8 had the most wonderful day with our guide Simon! He curated the tour day to our list of suggested visits and brought a plethora of historical knowledge and local terrain insights. Simon is a fascinating person and we had such a lovely time seeing the countryside through his guidance! He was very communicative leading up to the tour making us feel very at ease in In & Beyond Bath's hands - and did not disappoint during the tour! Highly recommend In & Beyond for your visit to the countryside outside Bath!

A wonderful tour while staying in beautiful Bath
Our local driver/guide, Simon, ensured we had the perfect tour as his local knowledge was invaluable. Stonehenge is a must see when visiting this part of the UK - absolutely fascinating! Simon also included some lesser known but wonderful sights. He also took us to a small ANZAC cemetery because of our Australian heritage which was much appreciated. Simon also followed up with an email to us after the tour with a list of the places we visited which was very helpful. He also recommended some other sightseeing for us while we are staying in Bath and on our travels through Cornwall. Thank you Simon for a great day at Stonehenge & Beyond!

        A Brilliant Day Out!
Our Guide Max took my group of 8 adults around the lovely Wiltshire countryside, in one of the company's minibuses, in January 2024. He gave us a great day out which was so interesting, informative and fun, involving the history, architecture, culture, scenery and more, visiting Castle Combe, Laycock, Avebury and other places. Max was full of knowledge and such a warm, friendly gentleman. We all really enjoyed the day. We highly recommend In & Beyond Bath! Thanks Max!

Wonderful tour from Bath to our destination
We are from the US and were not planning to drive while in the Cotswolds, for everyone's safety, lol. We booked a few days in Bath but needed to get to our next Airbnb in Stow-in-the-Wold. We booked a guide from In and Beyond Bath for the one way trip and are so thankful we did. Our guide was amazing and tailored our trip to 2 locations we wanted to see. Not only was our guide, Jules, knowledgeable about the area, he was engaging, kind, and booked a wonderful pub for lunch. We didn't have to worry about anything. Would highly recommend. We communicated via email while planning the trip and Jules was very prompt to respond. We had reached out to about 2 or 3 other tours, but this one provided the best response and reasonable pricing for a private tour.

Transfer tours - LHR to Cotswolds to Bath to London area
Jules, Thank you for your assistance in making transfer tour arrangements for LHR to the Cotswolds, the Cotswolds to Bath, and Bath to Lacock/Swindon. Everything went perfectly! Jules II found us immediately at LHR, drove us to Greys Court for a visit, and stopped at Ebrington Arms where we had a lovely lunch before our Cotswolds drop off. Simon picked us up for our Cotswolds to Bath component and made modifications as necessary based on our previous experiences. He also coordinated our Bath walking tour and Bath to London area transfer. We really enjoyed our time with Simon and look forward to return. Sightseeing in the rain was balanced by...yes, more fabulous pub stops! Our family of four, including my husbands parents in their 80s, was so very well organized and thoroughly enjoyable! Thank you to all for great experiences in the region.

        Simon says...
Let's see Castle Combe, Malmesbury, Corsham and Bradford on Avon, and away we went! It was a splendid day of touring beautiful historical places (with emphasis on the dark ages, which I was truly in the dark about before my guide elucidated me), stopping for coffee, tea and lunch in cozy pubs, being driven around through breathtaking country and spending time with a knowledgeable and delightful guide. I found myself wishing Simon were along for the entirety of my trip. The day tour was certainly time and money well spent. I would highly recommend In and Beyond Bath for sightseeing around the south Cotswolds. Jules went out of his way to accommodate my tour off-season. Many heartfelt thanks for that!

Great Transfer tour between Bath and Swindon
We arranged for a transfer tour between Bath and Swindon (convenient rail into London). Our interests are history, architecture and because it was fall, seeing some fall colors. Jules crafted a great itinerary and we enjoyed every bit of it. Jules is knowledgeable, personable and an excellent driver. We went to Avebury and enjoyed a delicious lunch before heading to Severnake Forest. We tromped all through the forest and had a great time. I highly recommend In and Beyond Bath. It was absolutely worth it.

        Excellent tour!
We had an excellent bespoke experience with our guide Roland on our tour through the Cotswolds. We were delivered the promised off the beaten track tour and really appreciated how Roland highlighted interesting points and then listened and narrowed the focus to what we seemed interested in. I was not sure if I should spend the money when there were other tours available but it was very well worth the price!

We had a wonderful trip to the hidden Cotswolds with Ralph as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area; very accommodating, picking us up at our location. He also contacted me the day before our trip to discuss details and give us an idea what we would be doing for the day. I won’t divulge the locations we visited because it’s a secret and you’ll be very happy to see such lovely spots! Ralph gave us plenty of time to look around. He gave us the background details about the area which was fascinating for history buffs. We also saw an especially stately home, which was absolutely stunning. And the artwork was mind blowing!

This is really a perfect trip when you don’t have a lot of time or don’t wanna hassle with rental cars and driving but letting someone else show you around. I certainly did not want to attempt to drive around myself as an US driver! Ralph is an excellent and safe driver who inspired confidence and made us feel safe and secure. It was just an important concern for us after our hair raising taxi journey the previous day. Lol I’m so glad we did this journey with Ralph as our guide. I recommend this trip 100%.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Hidden Cotswolds & Dark Age England
tour with Max with In and Beyond Bath. This was actually the first tour I booked for our two weeks trip to England. We loved it! Max was terrific. He was very informative and fun. Our tour included just three others which make it very private and engaging. I would and have highly recommended this tour and company to anyone visiting the area in and around Bath. You will not be disappointed.

What a great tour we had this weekend. My whole family (from 17 till 58) were happy and we learned so much. The landscape, the villages, the little roads, the Manors, the churches, the graveyards, the Harry Potter feeling, and above all the guide Phoenix, made it an unforgettable trip. Thanks so much

We had a lovely time! An amazing drive through the Cotswolds with a wonderfully informative history and incredible views. We loved Simon who was knowledgeable, courteous and fun. He shared his experience as a local bringing it all into perspective for us. We would recommend In and Beyond Bath and Simon to anyone who was looking for an authentic experience driving through this gorgeous area. PS: we were a group of four adults who craved Cotswolds the history lesson.

This is a day of exploring the hidden treasures of the Cotswolds down tiny country lanes and into small villages full of rich historical treasures, which are still so peaceful and unaffected. It's also a tour which gives you time to breathe it all in, by taking a stroll here, and stopping for a cuppa there. We were looked after by the wonderful Jules who has both the personal knowledge and historical depth to give us a wonderful overview of both times past and the here and now. Book it; you won't regret it.

Jules is a personable guide and a gifted teacher. He engaged us in his big picture understudy of early English history by drawing our attention to geography, architecture, and story. His passion sparked our interest and we thoroughly enjoyed our day chatting as we rode in his van. He’s an excellent driver on his home turf of the Cotswolds. Added perks were two English countryside walks when he gave us instructions as to how to find him on the other side of the pasture or river or town. Multi sensory and fun!

Me and my elderly mother took this tour in early July. It turned out to be a wonderful choice for us. The tour was a great mixture of both history, scenic sites, interesting and quirky facts and serveral beautiful villages to enjoy. The tour hade a really good tempo with plenty of time to walk around and perhaps do some shopping or photography.
Our tour guide Jules was a wonderful, funny and kind and he always tried to make sure we had a good time during the tour. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to visit The Cotswolds!
