- FrancesAndLee0 contributionsHighly recommend this fascinating guided walkI have now been on a number of walks with Becky and they are all fascinating and enjoyable experiences. This is a new walk, through the Natural History Museum and I found so thought provoking the stories of these amazing women and their different contributions. Thanks Becky.Written March 21, 2025
- lydiabP4226AB0 contributionsExcellent Women's History TourMy company held a walking tour with Becky at Women of London as part of our Women's History Month celebrations. Our staff really enjoyed the tour around the area local to our office, and Becky tailored one of her usual tours to include some history from the sector my company works in. Becky's enthusiasm shines through. She left us with ideas, book recommendations and things to discuss in the pub at the end of the tour!Written March 17, 2025
- marjonk1950 contributionsAmazingI took the tour on the morning of International women’s day as a way of celebrating and it was the perfect choice. Emily was an amazing guide who really managed to keep the group entertained and interested throughout. And her passion for the women honoured showed through wonderfully. Couldn’t recommend more.Written March 10, 2025

- 237corinnem0 contributionsBrilliant tour. Inspiring, shocking, intelligently told. Superb! This was a superb tour. It was so interesting hearing about inspiring individuals and their stories, the culture of the society in which they lived, all linked to the different places we visited. I felt both inspired, shocked and moved by our Guide Becky's thoughtful, well-crafted, intelligent and vivid story-telling which helped us look beyond simple wall plaques and gave us deeper insight into the people and realities of the time. She had such depth of knowledge, but made it so accessible. I thought she, and the whole experience was brilliant - I cannot recommend this highly enough!!!Written January 26, 2025
- RaveCity670 contributionsFabulous tourFabulous tour. I learnt so much in a fun and accessible way. Steph, the tour guide, was enthusiastic and very knowledgable. Incredible value for money too.Written January 19, 2025
- M8449JZpatriciag0 contributionsWonderful Guide and TourEmily was a knowledgeable and friendly guide, able to clearly explain social issues, immigration, economics, and more. It was just the right blend of walking, looking, and listening. Highly recommend. Thank you.Written January 13, 2025
- FrancesAndLee0 contributionsFascinating guided walkWe are a group of old friends who like to meet up and spend time doing something together. We have now done 3 of Becky’s walks and have enjoyed them all. We chose this one as it sounded interesting and it was fascinating. We walked through the Museum and heard about exhibits that ordinarily we would have probably just glanced at. Becky is so knowledgeable and her dynamic story telling approach is totally absorbing! Thought provoking perspectives on women and stories that should be known more widely. Highly recommend these walks. Thanks Becky.Written January 10, 2025
- Safari227617620690 contributionsWonderful tour and knowledgeable guideI had Steph and she was wonderful, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour was fully thought out and researched, and hit a perfect balance of learning but not pure academia. 100% recommend.Written December 17, 2024
- 100thingstodoinwales0 contributionsEvery woman should take this tourArranged this tour for the Gender Equality Network of my workplace. Charlotte was our knowledgeable and passionate guide regaling us with stories of women throughout history. This is not a dull history tour. It is thought provoking and inspiring. Every woman should do it. Im definitely booking onto another.Written December 12, 2024
- 882marinkev0 contributionsFabulous Feminists!Over 2.5 hours we immersed ourselves as Walking Women in the lives and stories of the Working Women of the East End. So many amazing stories of community organizers, magistrates, trade unionists avant la lettre etc. who trailblazed the way for general voting rights, bodily autonomy, labour rights. Learned so much from our guide Becky, who amplified the voices and gave them agency and dignity.Written November 5, 2024
- chriseT3346SS0 contributionsGreat tour guide, great historyI bought this a birthday present for my partner and we had a brilliant time. Becky was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and the tour was perfectly judged in terms of walking distances and points of interest. We had, perhaps shamefully, little prior knowledge of the history Becky spoke about, which made it really worth while.Written October 18, 2024

This was a wonderful tour. Becky is an enthusiastic & very well-informed guide who is clearly passionate about her subject. I thought I knew Bloomsbury well but saw it from a completely different perspective with this tour. There were only 3 of us with Becky so it made it a very intimate & enjoyable experience. I 5his m it’s fair to say that we all learnt a lot!

I thoroughly recommend this tour! A fascinating insight into the lives and achievements of some of London's most interesting women, many of whom are largely forgotten but whose achievements live on. It's also a great opportunity to explore a beautiful part of town and is well situated for transport and other amenities. Becky is hugely knowledgeable, great at bringing history to life and flexible to adapt her approach based on the audience.

We went on the Women of Bloomsbury Walking Tour with Becky as our tour guide. The tour was well structured with stops at various locations with a story. The stories were very amazing windows on to the lives and achievements of individual women living and working in the area. Becky was very animated and knowledgeable and held our attention for the whole tour. A great experience.

We did the Women of Bloomsbury walking tour and it was fabulous. Our guide was very knowledgeable and her presentation style was engaging and fun. The tour is very interested and we all learned a lot, which is saying something because some of our friends have lived in London for more than 40 years. One of the people in our party is going to book this service for a private business event.

My tour of Bloomsbury was fantastic and unique! Charlotte really knows her stuff. The Tour was very expansive with lots of historical detail and stories. A wonderful way to get to know the neighborhood and learn about the women know you and most importantly the stories and women you don't know!

Ten out of five!
I learnt so much with information delivered in an interactive, animated, informed beyond the brief and ultra stimulating way.
These waking tours are just simply the best. I cannot praise them highly enough, this one being my second. The third and fourth are also in the process of being booked.
