- SSJ5130 contributionsGreat way to visit the portrait gallery! This is the best way to visit the portrait gallery! Charlotte was very pleasant and informative. She is an excellent story teller which helped keep my 10 year olds attention the entire 2 hours. We all learned a lot, so much more than trying to visit on our own. After the tour, we still had time to explore a bit on our own. Will definitely book another tour with Rebel Tours on our next visit!Written November 26, 2024
- lulunorth0 contributionsDon’t Miss Out On Vegan Food TourLoved the food tour. Charlotte is engaging, well-informed and fun. We learned loads about the veganism as well as Camden’s colorful history. This tour is definitely not for vegans only. The food stops are all delicious and will convince any doubters that there is more to plant-based options other than kale. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore and sample an alternative Camden.Written November 15, 2024
- 783elainep0 contributionsO-Mai!What a wonderful afternoon spent at the National Portrait Gallery with our guide, Charlotte. Such a great idea to create a tour which invites people to walk around the building, ‘meeting’ famous faces from British history who made their mark through the centuries - some of whom had never previously been on our radar. We learned so much from Charlotte from Rebel Tours, who was so knowledgeable and engaging about these ‘Rogues and Rebels’. And while being educated, we also gazed upon some beautiful artwork. Would recommend taking this two-hour tour.Written November 11, 2024
- madeasneighbor0 contributionsGREAT experience off the beaten pathThis tour is one-of-a-kind in a good way. You can't go wrong by booking it. Our guide Ellie gave us a lot of not so well-known facts that provided a deep inside of the history and former living of Covent Garden and Seven Dials. There is much more to it than just the stores and restaurants tourist normally see. Don't want to reveal details here. PLS. see for yourself. Really, it's worth it: funny, entertaining and a learning experience at the same time.Written September 7, 2024
- R9698RXkellir0 contributions10/10 !!!!The best thing I did in London. Incredible food, amazing guide, super fun walks, I cannot recommend it highly enough !!!Written September 4, 2024
- fid1dec0 contributionsEnjoyable Walking TourHad some time to pass in London, so booked this as it looked a bit different to the traditional historical tours. Really recommend it. Ellie was excellent, very knowledgeable and authentic. As well as Covent Gardens, we got into the lovely St Paul's Actors Church and explored Seven Dials which I was completely unaware of. There is an additional gin element to the tour, which I didn't do. Great value and a lovely way to spend two hours.Written July 8, 2024
- 618myrianp0 contributionsPleasant!Whether you’re a history buff, a culture enthusiast, or just looking for a leisurely way to explore a new area, I highly recommend this tour. The combination of a knowledgeable guide, a well-thought-out itinerary, and charming places made it a memorable adventure.Written June 12, 2024
- sandracE7225YM0 contributionsBest EverI have been on several vegan tours and this was the best yet! My non-vegan husband also loved it. Charlotte our tour guide was very knowledgeable. She gave us an amazing tour of the area. She was also fun to hang out with. We would have never discovered Camden if it wasn’t for this tour. We will be going back to London soon and will go to some of the places Charlotte recommended. The different food and restaurants that we experienced were so good, they even topped the vegan restaurants in New York City. My husband was still talking about the food and tour several days later. Thank you Charlotte for making our vacation even better!Written June 11, 2024
- bravotangomike0 contributionsHighly recommended tour while in London.Even after 136 years, the world is still fascinated by the story of a psychopathic killer terrorizing the streets of London. This is not your typical Jack the Ripper tour while visiting London. You will learn a good deal about the women who were sadly murdered during this killing spree. It is also a bit of a history lesson of the time period and a sightseeing trip to the East End. Ellie was a wonderful tour guide!Written June 5, 2024
- Chris P0 contributionsHidden gems of Covent Gardens with Ellie!Ellie was amazing on this walking tour of Covent Gardens. A friend said we needed ti go there and I like to learn more so booked this tour. Wow, there is so much history there in Seven Dials neighborhood especially. Loved the markets and hidden little spots we would have missed without this tour. Ellie also recommended a great Indian food place, Punjab, and helped us get the right Underground to our next destination.Written May 28, 2024

We had a private tour with Charlotte taking in the Royals, Rogues and Rebels in Westminster, then Covent Garden and finally the Whitechapel Silent Voices tours. Everything from start to finish was exceptionally professional, interesting and rewarding. Charlotte is hugely knowledgeable and engaging as a guide. She reserved us a space at a pub in Covent Garden and continued to enlighten us over a pint. We then jumped on a bus to Whitechapel to finish the days tour with details of the incredibly resilient women and their neighbours and the monster that killed them. We finished the day in a fantastic curry house again recommended by Charlotte. Highly recommended, you won't regret a tour with the Rebels.

What a privilege to be a part of the "Royals, Rogues and Rebels" walk created by Rebel Tours!
I feel sometimes like I've lived in London forever, but thanks to this tour, I was properly introduced to so many places I thought I knew. Ellie and Charlotte shared their wit, expertise, and enthusiasm with all of is humans, and a couple of pooches too.
We were immersed in tales that spanned centuries, giving me a fresh perspective on how London's history is so connected to what's happening in our world right now. Thank you.

This is an excellent tour. I know the area well as I visit London regularly but what was good is that I learnt lots of new things about an area that was already somewhat familiar. Ellie really knows her stuff and gives an entertaining yet academic tour. it was nice to be out in the streets again doing a walking tour of London.

Get ready for 2 hours of royal laughter, interesting insights and rebel history on this off the beaten path tour of London. We stop at major landmarks and hear untold stories and rebellious history of London. Fantastic guides, Charlotte was great at keeping us on our toes for the whole duration of the tour. Loved her story telling and personal connection to each site. Good outing to safely enjoy London respecting social distancing.

I had lots of fun learning about the more mischievous and thus interesting side of some of London's most popular landmarks. Charlotte and Ellie really knew their stuff and kept me engaged from start to finish. I would definitely do another tour with them again!

I’ve done 10 walking tours in
London on this trip- this was by far my least favourite. Very little about royalty or rogues but almost entirely about suffragette movement- all presented with very narrow political perspective - be aware when booking. Only three participants on this tour and I can see why. Other two on this tour turned up 15 mins late - so with my being 10 mins early ( as requested in tour description) meant I got to stand round for 25 mins waiting for this tour to start. There are lots of other walking tour options - I’d recommend doing those and not this one

Absolutely brilliant! A wonderful, witty, highly polished insider's look into the machinations, revolutions, and follies of London's hyper-colourful cast of characters through the ages, whilst walking through the very most beautiful and historical areas of central London. Such a fabulous and unique way to experience Royal, political, and historical Westminster, safe in the hands of two completely winning, hilarious, and super-well-informed local guides. Highly recommended.
