Excellent tour from beginning to end. Jill Finch, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and engaging and quite clearly an experienced guide. She brought Shardlake’s Tudor London to life; she brought maps and read excerpts from the books, which made the tour all the more memorable. Post-tour, Jill shared additional resources with us. I will now have to reread all of the Shardlake novels & will have a better understanding of time and place. Thank you Jill for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this tour

Our experience was first-class! Alex was personable, engaging and very knowledgeable. The 3-hr London walking tour revealed the best of the old, the new and the unique that this city and it's people have to offer. It really whet our appetites for further exploration on this and future trips. We absolutely loved it and will definitely recommend your company and these private tour packages to friends and family. I recommend doing an overview tour like this first, then set-up the follow-on visits to sites that you found particularly interesting on subsequent days. Additionally, we set this tour up very last minute due to trying to fit it into a pre-planned business trip to London. Kristina (from the back office) was very responsive by email in helping us pull this together in less than 36 hours and in helping us get the right details for day and time into our booking, when we mistakenly booked the tour on-line on the wrong day. From a responsiveness perspective and a value-proposition, our expectations were exceeded. The whole team at Footprints was fantastic.

I booked a Jack the Ripper tour. I turned up early and waited in the correct spot but nobody turned up. I waited over half an hour and wasted time and money getting there for nothing!!

Our guide Alex was AMAZING!!! He knew the London history in depth and was able to pull up historical images to bring the history to life. It was great to see the changing of the guards from a different perspective, and while we walked a lot, it was not strenuous. Alex was personable, extremely knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor

Excellent guide who is well informed, supported by historical pictures ( then vs now) and able to answer all the groups questions. Although 6 foot tall, adjusted speed for the shorter people making the speed accessible. Personable and generous his time and knowledge. Thanks Alex!! You are awesome!

We booked a tour and somehow it happened to be like a private tour for my boyfriend and I because no one else showed up. It was really fun and educating as well, our tour guy seemed to know what he was talking about and he told us many interesting facts that we wouldn’t know without him. Thank you 😊

The London walking tour was a great way to spend the afternoon. I booked the tour a few hours before as it was a nice sunny(ish) day and came with few expectations. Our tour guide Alex was charming, knowledgable and extremely engaging. The tour was the perfect blend of fun facts and London's history. I highly recommend this to anyone in London, tourist or not.

Great tour! Free tours offered by local guides with plenty of interesting history and local events info. We covered Westminster and saw the Horse Calvary Parade, Buckingham Palace and Changing of the Guard. Our guide Justin was fantastic ... engaging, funny and offered plenty of history.

Have been on a few tours with Rob who is very knowledgeable. Their tours are quite varied and run by different people who specialize in certain areas.

We booked the tour only hours beforehand since we had surprisingly good weather and wanted to walk around London for a bit. Our guide Will was great and very funny and gave us lots of recommendations on what else to do and see in the city. Would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting London!

Met Will in the pouring rain, no one else turned up so we had him as our private guide for two hours. Fun, fantastic and informative and he showed us some real hidden gems! Very knowledgeable with history narrated in a modern and amusing way. Couldn’t even divert him for a beer as he wanted to complete the tour. Would thoroughly recommend and well worth a good tip. This had everything. An excellent and charming guide, Will, full of humour, history, wit and charm and unexpected knowledge. What a natural ambassador for London and its bloody past and its excitable, changing present. Top quality and highly professional. By far the best walking tour this veteran has had in London. I have lived here for many years and his stories connected me to place and those who have gone before. Wonderful stuff.

Wonderfull experience! Will was my guide and was open to do what the group wanted! He answered all my question and you can tell its a history lover. Also, he was always open to share tips and advice for other things to do. Now, I’m going on the same group but to get to know cambridge.
