We had such an incredible time with our tour last week. Our tour guide was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, awesome - we could not recommend him enough. We learned so much at Stonehenge and he listened and highlighted some really great things for our boys - even finding some Harry Potter gems in the Cotswolds for us, too. The tour company was incredibly responsive whenever I had questions in advance and were very thoughtful with our time and planning our day. Our originally assigned guide was ill, and we then received a guide who was like the Mayor of Stonehenge - had worked there, knew everyone - and he was fascinating. Had all sorts of items in his back back to show the kids and keep them interested while at the site, and some great inside knowledge too to the history of the site as a Museum over the years. Fascinating. And to think he was not even our original guide! This company must have the A+++++ team at their disposal. Highly recommend.

Our first day in London my family and I booked Christian for a day trip to Bath and Windsor castle. He was excellent! We had an amazing time and still talk about how great of a day it was. Christian also went out of his way to find us a spot to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary, bringing wine and strawberries for us to enjoy. The 25 hour flight from Australia was worth it! Thank you again for making the first day of our trip so special.

We did the private tour with our guide, Will. It was an exceptional day filled with fascinating facts and perspectives, friendly conversation, and wonderful sites. Will was an excellent host and gave us all of the information we wanted to hear. We had two kids with us and they remained engaged the whole time and found it very interesting as well. We would highly recommend this tour to anybody interested in a sightseeing tour of the countryside of England in a private setting.

We had a great day touring the three sites with Peter. We felt that he was such a fine example of a British gentleman with his wit, patience and friendliness! There were major travel disruptions due to the floods but Peter was able to figure out alternative ways to navigate around. We learnt so much about the history of the places that we visited and even about the origins of certain English words. He is a treasure trove of knowledge. So glad that we were able to make a booking with Peter / Tailored Tours.

Highly recommend this day trip to the Cotswolds and Oxford! Our driver/host, Christian, did an amazing job of tailoring this excursion to our interests so that we saw Oxford first and foremost, and the rest was simply lovely icing on the cake! Our DIL often suffers from car sickness, but she was delighted that she had NO issues with that -- in fact, she said that her very favorite memory was driving (!) through the Cotswolds as the sun was setting! The car was comfortable; Christian's tutorials were interesting and compelling; and we made wonderful memories during our trip. Thank you, Christian, for an excellent experience!

We had a great time! This was the perfect day trip from London. Peter, our guide, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and was able to pace the day so that our young kids (ages 10, 6 and 4) were engaged the entire time. Would definitely recommend. Our kids said this was their favorite day of the trip.

Awesome trip! Christian was an amazing guide! He gave us just the right amount of information and also was flexible to our needs. It was nice to have someone else take care of the logistics and driving and he was also great at locating "comfort stations". The van was super comfortable as well. Overall great trip and I would highly recommend.

We had a lovely day touring the English countryside. The personalized itinerary allowed us to explore at our own pace and discover hidden gems we wouldn't have found on our own. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in the heart of London, making it very convenient. Our guide Christian was very friendly and knowledgeable, going above and beyond with my mother-in-law, who has mobility issues.

We took this day tour and were picked up at our London hotel by our amazing guide, Oz who was there early and ready for us. Oz was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing lots of engaging details about London's history along the way. He made all the stops with us, took pictures, and was super flexible with the schedule. Overall 12/10!!! This tour made our trip so memorable. Thank you, Oz!!!

On our trip to London, we wanted to experience the English countryside and booked the Private Day Tour to Oxford and The Cotswold. The experience did not disappoint. I was initially very disinterested in visiting Oxford as I knew nothing about it. Oh, I was so wrong. Our wonderful guide Peter made the city come alive. His knowledge of the history of Oxford and the surrounding area was fascinating. We then continued into the Cotswold's, visiting 3 lovely towns. During my research, I had saved a posting about the Porch House-England's oldest inn, and unbeknownst to me, tailored Tours had made a lunch reservation for us at their restaurant. The lunch was everything one would imagine, where we indulge in great fish and chips. Sometimes when I book through Trip Advisor getting in touch with the tour operator tends to be an issue as they are not all very responsive. This was not the case with Tailored Tours. Each time I emailed with a question, they responded in a very timely fashion. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our guide and driver Peter. The day was a highlight of our trip.

We had a group of 5 and the day was not at all what we expected, especially due to the large expense. We were basically stuck in a van all day with very poor visibility due to the high seats and head rests. We had no opportunity to stop and take pictures, we weren't even offered any water which was probably good since we were not allowed to stop and use a restroom until we insisted. And even then Will didn't want to because we didn't "have time." I had specifically asked to skip the Oxford portion to spend more time in the Cotswolds and we just flew through some amazing little towns without having the opportunity to get out and explore. The tour stated we could have lunch and we were hoping to stop in Stow on the Wold but just got blurry pictures of the beautiful main area as we wizzed by! We had a 30 minute stop to get a sandwich which we had to eat in the car because it was the only place in the little village and was swamped with people and took 20 minutes waiting in line. The day started by our guide complaining about having to pick us up at the Westin in London square and wanted to drop us at the tube at the end of the day because he didn't want to drive back through London. We felt extremely rushed all day, didn't get any lasting memories, and were talked to in a condescending way all day. I would recommend NOT taking this tour.

Kerri was a great guide. Weather was perfect. Stonehenge and Windsor Castle were both very interesting and two things we have always wanted to experience.
