The walk through the park was informative, guide did her best to take the paths with some shade.
The group signed up was 10, so they had two guides and we split into 2 smaller groups. That was a nice touch.
The tea & finger sandwiches was a fun experience.

This tour takes you on a thorough walk with a guide through Kensington Park starting at the Queensway Station at the corner of the street on Bayswater. It's beautiful and our guide, Simon Taylor was brilliant. He told us little things about different areas that I, in my last four trips, didn't even know. The pumping station for the fountains. The history of the swans and little things about Queen Victoria, Henry VIII and Oliver Cromwell. How the land was taken away from the Catholic Church and used as hunting ground for the King's Pleasure. The tea was lovely. Then, Simon went out of his way to walk us through the Soho area and then through China town, which was fantastic and so colorful. So vibrant and welcoming to everyone from all walks of life. It was filled with energy, warmth, and life. I really recommend this tour to anyone.

This was a lovely way to have high tea. It was like going to tea with a friend who really knows the area and can give interesting history and facts about the area. Our guide (Doug) made sure that we were comfortable and that the tea met all our needs. We greatly enjoyed the tour, the tea and the conversation. :)

Kensington Palace and Gardens did not disappoint! Nor did tour guide Simon. He made the history of the area a fascinating story and was a gracious, delightful and fun afternoon tea companion. Highly recommend both him and the tour!

We had a lovely walk through Kensington Park with our guide Lewis. He was quite knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour was capped off with an amazing tea at the Palace Orangerie - a spectacular sun filled room. The tea was quite filling and the sandwiches and treats were beautiful and delicious.

Had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Alex. He was a wealth of information on English history. We had a lovely walk through Hyde Park on a beautiful day. We saw Diana's Memorial Garden and sat outside in the Pavilion overlooking the garden. The sandwiches, scones, cakes and tea were delicious. There was no "added luxury drink."
I highly recommend this tour. We felt very British afterwards. We also enjoyed the beautiful walk back to the tube. If you have trouble walking this may not be the tour for you, but we loved it!
