About
Christmas in London has a special charm all of its own. As evening begins to descend a magical transformation occurs while carols fill the air with joyful music, bringing back heart-warming memories. For children, this is a time when excitement begins to build as they anticipate what a visit from Father Christmas may bring, and our local guide, with extensive experience in leading tours for families with kids, knows very well how to keep the young ones entertained as you and your family take in some of London's most beautiful Christmas lights and decorations. After nightfall, you will be able to admire some of London's most famous streets and squares illuminated by magical Christmas lights, including Oxford Street, Carnaby Street, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden, and the amazing Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. As you wander through the colourful streets, your guide will describe the background surrounding some of London's best-known seasonal customs and traditions.

Memorable tour with a knowledgable and engaging guide Mehru
I was visiting London with my two children (aged 6 and 8) and wanted them to have a memorable experience and learn a little about the history of London. I booked this tour after reading the reviews online, and oh boy what a great choice. A bit pricey but truly worth it! Our tour guide was Mehru and she was absolutely amazing. She kept my children engaged and interested for a solid 3h (sounds impossible but she did it). She had an incredible ability to tell complex stories in an age-appropriate way (with some extra bits for adults). She made sure we avoided the crowds and in the end we managed to see everything and we learnt a lot about the British monarchy and the history of the Tower of London (and the city itself). Time just flew by. Incredible experience and one we will remember for a long time. Thank you Mehru!

Generally a cool place to visit
Enormous place with interesting things to see. On the contrary, the temporary exhibitions are a bit expensive. There also many kids around that could bother any concentrate visitors.

    Entertaining and lots of learning!
This was a wonderful way to visit Westminster. Our guide (Tim) was well prepared, incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable about the history. He pointed out lots of interesting things. We did skip the line and enter somewhere other than general admission. Highly recommend this tour for families.

Great Tower of London Tour w/ Ben!
Ben was great! Knew where to be and when so we were able to get some truly epic video of the changing of the guard, and of the famous/infamous ravens being fed. He also delivered a fabulous blend of (purely British) humor and factual data that made the tour both informative and fun, and kept both kids and adults fully engaged. Our kids loved him. We already want to return for a deeper dive into the Tower of London. More broadly speaking, after our experience with them in both Rome and London, Pinocchio Tours is our new Go To for kid friendly tours and experiences. Both Enza and Bea were amazing. 😊

Amazing guide for young child's visit
We wanted a tour that would interest a 7 year old as well as be educational for adults. Our guide was Dan, a perfect fit for our family. He was humorous and engaged our little granddaughter ( a tough customer) as well as fascinated the rest of us. We have visited the Tower several times, but this visit was the best by far. Worth every penny. Highly recommend!

    Great family focused tour
Mehru met us right on time at the agreed upon spot and engaged the kids immediately. She shared “secrets” and scandals to make every new space intriguing. She clearly was very familiar with where we should be and when - placing us in optimal spots to see the guards walking across the bridge in the morning and also the Tower Bridge raising to allow a boat to go underneath it.

Westminster Abbey and Tower of London
Lucy was a great guide. Extremely knowledgeable, detailed and made for an interesting and engaging day with kids 8 and 12. Our tour guide paced it well and managed to get us into Westminster Abbey early ahead of the crowds. Helpful in every way our guide stayed in line for us at the Tower of London which gave our kids a good break. Content suitable for our 12 year old but was a bit too complex for our 8 year old and we thought it could have been simplified down for her level more. Otherwise both kids enjoyed the day and we would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Tower of London Tour with Extended Family
Absolutely fantastic tour of the Tower of London! Our guide, Lucy, was tremendous: Encyclopedic knowledge of the site's history combined with a dramatic presentation that had all of us enraptured! And just as impressively, she knew exactly where to be at the right time in order to avoid the rush of the crowd. Very well done and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in our party from ages 8 to 80. In addition, the booking of the tour through Bea was very easy and straightforward. Everything was communicated promptly and clearly. Our family would very highly recommend this tour!

    Very engaging for all
Alex(andra) was a great tour guide with several years of experience and certified by the British tourism authority. We really appreciated her expertise. She kept our kids (and us) mostly engaged for 3 hours (almost 7 and 9) and gave them a hands on activity or two. Had we done a self-guided tour, the experience would not have been nearly as enriching or in depth, and the kids would not have been as engaged. Definitely a splurge to consider.
