Christian greeted my husband & me warmly and then we were off on the adventure of a lifetime. We didn’t feel like we were on a tour but rather like a lifelong friend was showing us the highlights of his country. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, had a great sense of humor and made it clear that this was our tour and he did a great job of personalizing every detail. The first stop was actually a bonus - we were chatting about TV shows like Ted Lasso and the next thing we knew, we were standing in front of the pub where the show was filmed! After a quick photo, we were on to Stonehenge, the sight of which took our breath away. A very humbling and beautiful experience. Next was Bath - interesting sights of the town as well as a tour of the Roman Baths. Very well done. After a leisurely lunch in a local pub we then drove to the Cotswolds and a charming town from which was the stuff fairy tales are made. Simply gorgeous. The day far exceeded expectations and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We were dropped back at our London hotel with the hopes of taking another Tailored Tour in the future. Please note: purchasing tickets to the attractions are the responsibility of the tourist not the company but it is really easy to do so online and they will help you if need be. I can’t say enough about this experience except it was worth every penny and was simply brilliant in every way.

We were picked up at our hotel in London on time by Christian Mulcahy in his very nice comfortable van. Christian is a very knowledgeable, smart, funny, and wonderful guide. He went way beyond excellent to make sure we saw more than the typical tourist sites. We had an excellent time touring Stonehenge Bath and Cotwolds through Tailored Tours. We were paired wth Oz who is an amazing tour guide. He is well versed in British history and made the tour fun. We had ample time to visit all the sites. Especially at Cotswold he would point out the relvenant locations where Harry Potter was filmed and would show the clips on his iPad to make it come to life. The kids loved it. He was very patient with us and even helped with our consant need to take photos. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend Oz and the company.

Our tour guide Kerri was phenomenal! She knew the history of the area and had captivating stories to share with every person in our party, young to old and for both men and women. She was extra helpful with getting us in the quickest and easiest way, told us the best places for photos, made sure we had the best experience. Our driver/guide Peter did a great job of navigating traffic between London and the countryside. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about Stonehenge, Bath and the countryside. Our overall experience with Tailored Tours was great from start to finish. Would definitely consider booking with them again.

We had a wonderful time. Our guide was very helpful and informative. He took us to places that were a little less known and places that buses could not get into. We really enjoyed having a guide just for our family because we were able to have our questions answered and our guide was willing to show us a few places that were specific to our interests.

Christian was simply fantastic. Great overall experience with zero complaints and very family friendly! Highly recommend.

Our driver and guide were Peter. He was amazing! He does this tour about 150 times a year. His knowledge of the history of the sightings is very impressive. He was entertaining, engaging and funny. Very caring about the people in his group. He knows the best possible ways to drive you to your destination. We couldn’t be more happier with his service. Peter organised our tickets to Stonehenge and the Roman Baths so we didn’t needed to line up. He was on time and his car was immaculately clean. We had a long day but we were travelled safely and comfortably. Although British Airways has lost all of our luggage’s and we were so stressed about it , this day trip with our guide Peter made us forget about our luggage troubles. So thank you Peter for all the laughter’s and for an incredible day. Definitely we give 5 stars for you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10 out of 5 stars!! Booked a two person private tour of Stonehenge, Bath, and Castle Combe (the most picturesque Cotswold village!) with Christian. Christian is an absolutely superb tour guide— very knowledgeable (about the local sites and history), friendly, warm, and funny! He was very prompt and picked us up at our hotel on time. We communicated via WhatsApp with ease throughout the trip. The itinerary was also catered to our preferences, which we appreciate so very much. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a similar adventure!! Would 100% book Tailored Tours (Christian) again!!

My partner and I scheduled a personal tour for the two of us from Stonehenge to Bath and then to the Cotswolds (we asked to go to Castle Combe) We could not ask for a more perfect way to spend a day. Our guide, Christian, was incredibly informative, brilliantly hilarious, and attentive to our needs and requests throughout the trip. Honestly, this is one of the best guided tours we have ever experienced. 10/10. Would absolutely schedule them for another tour during our next trip to the UK.

The universe works in mysterious ways. I contacted several well-known tour companies about day trips from London to Stonehenge. Our group of five is made up of some more extremes of interest in sightseeing, tolerance of being around a lot of people, and behavioral management/self-regulation support. As such, I was looking for a company that I could speak directly with to make sure I was booking a tour that would accommodate our needs of being adaptable. Weeks of trying to communicate with well-advertised and known companies, I was extremely frustrated because they wouldn't email back. They didn't have phone numbers, those that did would transfer me if I got through to leave a message for the correct department and/or not returning any voicemails. Our trip was a week and a half out and Stonehenge was a top priority stop particularly for three of the five us us. Tailored Tours came up on a search. Upon going to the website, not only were there options to plan a bespoke tour if necessary but there was a phone number! I called and spoke to Oz, who we later found out was the owner of the company and would also be our guide. He generously spent time talking to me about options, talking through our priorities, and most importantly understanding what our specific needs were. I only wish I had started here. The youngest in our group, who is the harshest critic, gave the day a two thumbs up with a huge grin! We were able to work with him to arrange a start time that would minimize the crowds at Stonehenge and the heat. Off we went. He made an extra stop when he found out there were some Ted Lasso fans in the group. While the day had a schedule to keep, there was plenty of time and when we were a few minutes late at a stop it was okay. To top it off, he took us on more scenic routes that were just as efficient. His wealth of knowledge, historical and current, kept everyone engaged. With three of us who struggle with motion sickness, not an upset tummy was to be found all day! He took us around Stonehenge to help us understand and appreciate the experience but also gave us time to explore the museum and visitor centre. We were lucky enough to be there the day Stonehenge was trying a new system to manage moving people around the stones. The one-way loop was terrific! In Bath, he brought us to the entrance and made sure our tickets were set. Guides are not allowed inside so we went through on our own. (Pro tip, the children's version of the audio tour is great for all ages who like to have a faster pace or more of an engaging experience, riddles, and seeking challenges.) As he guided us through Bath to the Roman Bath entrance, he pointed out several interesting things along with the different restaurants he recommended. We ended up at The Huntsman at his recommendation for fish and chips. Out of four or five different places for fish and chips throughout London, this remained well in the lead as the best. For the Cotswolds, we got to choose between two locations. The first was Lacock, which he said was neat for the many movie locations. The second, which was his preference, Castle Combe, he described as small but particularly beautiful. We chose Castle Combe and were not disappointed! The only disappointment was having to leave. So, while the process of finding Tailored Tours was circuitous, we were lucky to have found the best! Later, I also found out that all these big companies contract out with smaller companies to offer their private tours. Those tours typically offer four stops adding Windsor Castle to Stonehenge, Bath, and Cotswolds. That would have been too much. Tailored Tours are built to get to see and experience the location, rather than just going to the top photo spot, getting your picture, and then heading out. Cut out the middle company, support the small companies directly, and choose Tailored Tours specifically. You won't regret it.

Richard was a wonderful guide. He set the scene on the van ride to Stonehenge and continued to feed us knowledge during the experience of walking around the structure. We even got to go to Woodhenge nearby. He was a wealth of knowledge going to and from Bath and took us to a charming Cotswold village. We were taken care of from start to finish!

We spent a fabulous 10+ hour tour of Kent with Christian.We were tracing genealogy. Christian had done quite a bit of research before he picked us up and knew of even more spots than we did to check out. We saw a beautiful church in Biddenden , another in Seling, saw the Ham Sandwich sign😍, had a wonderful sandwich in Sandwich and topped off the day with a visit to Chartwell-home of another relative, Winston Churchill! Christian over anticipated our wishes.Coming back into London, We were treated to more special spots along with some wonderful stories.We highly recommend Tailored Tours and Christian. Just get in touch with them and Oz will probably be able to get you just exactly what you’ve dreamed of!
